  1. Please no. These pointless complexities are some of my favourite things about the game, especially when playing a medical role.
  2. I gotta chime in here that this looks really sweet. I'd love to see it in motion, though - any chance of a video and/or GIF?
  3. I'd be much more in favour of making the other damage types uniquely dangerous to bring them in line, rather than reducing how dangerous brute is. To do the latter strikes me as homogenising them a little too much, almost as if you might as well have just one damage type.
  4. Part of me doesn't want this to be implemented, so that these silly situations keep happening.
  5. Or that beautiful 80's grungy style, epitomised by Alien.
  6. Having the IPCs heads as shitty CRT monitor style contributes a lot to their charm, especially given the high-tech setting. Having head shape customisation would sacrifice this.
  7. High risk area? what are you making, lethal bombs or life saving medicine? There can be a very thin line between life-saving and lethal.
  8. The Blueshield strikes me as the sort of role that would be trusted to carry a more advanced, probably lethal weapon becaus of their importance and (one would hope) exceptional training/experience.
  9. 30 milk factories. Not breasts. Milk factories. Like, a factory. For milk. Bottling it or something, idk. I SAID NOT BREASTS OKAY, JEEZ.
  10. Suddenly I'm reminded of this suggestion, and it feels like, with a little modification, we've found our monster.
  11. 1: Yes. 2: Yes. 3: Doesn't really affect me, but yes anyway I guess.
  12. This. It would also add an extra layer of complexity to traitor rounds - instead of just crew v traitor, you also have collaborators, who lie somewhere between the two; not actively working against the station, but working to assist the traitor(s) in minor ways.
  13. 14 filthy, imperfect humans who are waiting in hope for the technological singularity to arrive.
  14. To be fair, wolf family structures aren't too different from humans ones anyway.
  15. Generally, X-Com refers to the original series, whereas XCOM refers to the reboot. I have barely ever seen either referred to as X-COM. That was the inane, pedantic nitpick I was making.
  16. That right there is XCOM stuff, not X-Com. Yes, I am That Guy. The "improvised" shotgun looks kinda silly. It's just a regular double-barrelled shotgun with some bandages or something draped over. Maybe look up that shotgun made by a couple prisoners for some inspiration? Or, pulling from fiction instead, the pipe weapons from FO4, and pretty much everything in Rust. Other than that criticism, these are all really cool.
  17. Wait, this isn't already a thing? This should be a thing.
  18. I can't argue with the stuff about vigilantism and the enemy of the corp. changes, but I'm inclined to disagree with what you're saying about contraband. Most of these items can only be acquired from illegal sources, and if someone really did find them in maintenance and didn't call it in, they can be considered at least an accessory to whatever the antag who left it does due to their incompetence, and should be punishable as such.
  19. + all of my 1's. I always thought that any given research division should be in constant conflict with everyone else, all trying to do their jobs properly. It's what produces the best stories.
  20. Ayup, I figured someone would bring that up eventually. Freakin' love the SCP Foundation.
  21. Sounds like it's all ambition and no substance right now. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. Not really a good thing either. Overall verdict: We'll see.
  22. Oh yeah, I freakin' loved that game. Never played the first one actually though, just the sec- OH WAIT. Yeah, fuck EA.
