  1. Awesome. Are those tails from the suits, or did you just colour the characters so they look nice for the preview?
  2. So you're turning them from Prototype to Dead Space?
  3. So, minimal tile damage, but plenty of damage to mobs?
  4. 3 weeks earlier 13 plebs who didn't realise there was another page
  5. I still think Vulpkanin should be merged with Tajaran as extra cosmetic options, but if that ain't gonna happen I guess I'll try and contribute something It might be worth dispelling a common fallacy here. Having fur does not necessarily mean a creature is from a colder environment. Fur can also develop (and has developed) as a method for drawing body heat away from the body and protecting it from direct sunlight in hotter climes. A good fantasy example of this is the Khajiit from TES because I'm an elder scrolls nerd - Similar to tigers, their habitat is hot and humid, and their fur is meant to draw heat away from the body. This was the subject of many slap-downs when I saw people confused all like, "Why are khajiit in skyrim really cold when they have fur?! Nonsense!" So, don't fall into the logic trap of "fur = heat retention" - we might be able to expand into more interesting areas this way. And, before anyone says "well, they're supposed to be canine and/or vulpine, therefore wolves and/or foxes, therefore colder climates", let me remind you that both vulpine and canine creatures exist in deserts too.
  6. I only correct people when they call SERAPH male just to be ironic. Like I actually give a shit, there's no real defining feminine characteristics on the sprite. I've never seen a male IPC without being 90% covered to check, but I imagine it's not toooooo different. Hell, there's barely any sprite difference between male and female humans, let alone IPCs.
  7. It definitely did a good job of blowing out the wall it was placed on. Maybe needs to damage walls a little more, though.
  8. If you consider "death" to mean that the heart has stopped, therefore has to be regenerated, that means each regeneration is 2 hearts, right? And, IIRC, we're on the 13th regen now. So, The Doctor has gone through 24 hearts so far. You now have a target to aim for, Tully.
  9. That's 572565594852. Little bit far from 17, don'tcha think? Oh wait, yeah, next number. Uh... 18 medical professional bakery products
  10. The problem there is probably with the retirement homes, not the prisons. Anyway, to the matter at hand... I guess this is another argument between staying true to the lore (NT is a positively tyrannical corporation that would most certainly disapprove of wasting resources giving prisoners anything more than their basic requirements) and gameplay (sitting around doing nothing more than surviving is boring as all fuck). Personally, I tend to bend more towards the RP/lore side of these things.
  11. This sounds pretty cool, actually. Especially when considering the sabotage potential.
  12. I'd support this as balancing action for these potential upgrades.
  13. Perhaps be more clear with your descriptions then?
  14. In other words, bombs just became tactical. HOOAH
  15. I'm gonna say no. On the one hand, it would be nice to give prisoners something to actually do, especially if it's something productive (reform programs yay). On the other hand, the company almost certainly doesn't care enough about its permanent prisoners to do anything like that. Also, that's what the labour camp is for, and everyone totally uses that, right?
  16. If you don't call this Antagonations I will cry into my cereal every morning.
  17. Seems a simple enough problem, can be cut down to two simple Boolean answers. - Is it still used to store things for emergencies? If yes, keep the green door and rename the maintenance doors. If no, change and rename the green door. - Are emergency storage closets meant to be all-access? Pretty sure the answer is yes here. The implications of this one should be obvious.
  18. *looks at concept* Huh, kinda interesting I guess. *looks at inspiration* Ew. But seriously, I'd be inclined to disagree. If the Blueshield is in a situation where he needs a suit, he'll probably already have one, since his role is to protect cap, heads and the rep, and as such he'll be with them whereverr they go (one hopes).
  19. Alternative option: Add the BYOND client as normal. Open the steam properties, change the name to whatever you want (mine is "Paradise Station"), and after the target destination (outside the quote marks and with a space separating them) add the URI for the server ( byond://nanotrasen.se:6666 ). So, the full string should look something like this: "[wherever byond is installed]\BYOND\bin\byond.exe" byond://nanotrasen.se:6666 This also allows you to take screenshots, although they will only take the main game window (display window? whatever you call it - it's where the sprites and stuff are drawn). The disadvantage of this method is that it hooks onto the BYOND process, meaning that you have to close BYOND completely or it will still think you're on Paradise.
