I use "Y'all" a lot despite not being southern (in the states it tends to be a southern backwoods type of thing). It's so efficient compared to its alternatives.
Other favorite word would be "Ageist" because I am one of the biggest offenders XD

I did the scariest thing I could think of doing on Halloween. I gave the AI and Ion Law that simply said "You are a catgirl"
Plus various other catgirl shenanigans.
I wish I got more screenshots but there was a lot of the AI making announcements like "TOXINS BLEW UP! PLEASE FIX IT ENGINEERING! I AM TREMENDOUSLY CUTE! NYA~"Station was also visited by "Nya the Catgirl Witch"
Props to the captain (FLINT) who PRAYED for the law, and the AI who played along (GUNDAM) and the Blueshield who was turned into a catgirl and played out thier misery in fantastic fashion. Dunno their names here or I'd ping em.

I think it would be fantastic if 2 players just simply RPed this. Like...have the piece of paper named "Cryptographic Sequencer" (sp?) and the 'borg' just plays along while their master commands them to do greytide bullshit.

We actually had a full powered vamp do this once. Security was really on point and slaughtered the rest of the full powered vamps so he offered to turn himself in to be experimented on in exchange for his life. We tested if various doses of holy water weakened him at all. All it did was make him stutter.
I'd kill to be brig doc the round you get caught and we perform experiments...

Make it so you can surgically remove tounges. Can already remove eyes and make someone blind, limbs to make them immobile or incapable, why not tounges to make them mute?
On a serious note...if you remove a vampires eyes can they no longer glare?

Would this actually make things more interesting at all or would regular players just develop over inflated wallets with not enough to spend it all on? Or would it eventually lead to the overinflated market that all MMOs have where long term players have tons of money to afford things that seem insanely expensive to newer players? (i.e. chemists marking up the cost of common drugs to some insanely high price that only long term players with massive bank accounts csn afford)
I like the idea of money having a useful purpose in this game but cannot think of a fair and realistic way to make that happen. Its nice to say "it would be cool to have this extra feature" but...would it?
I feel like the method proposed would just turn money into a slightly different form of irrelevant fluff from what it already is. If that is all its gonna be, why bother.
...plus, as has been mentioned...money having actual value would add yet another version of greif and abuse we would have to monitor. If the players here have proven one thing, its that some of them will always try to game the system. I know...you can't help yourselves. This is why we can't have nice things.

The reason some antags feel they don't have freedom is because too many people think they need to murderbone their way out of being caught. Antags have plenty of freedom on Paradise...as long as you are willing to get caught when things don't go well and/or when things go too far. Everyone has restrictions here.
You also have the option to ahelp if you want to try something that you may think is a bit too much. You'd be surprised at the stuff we will allow you to do if you just ask. We have the ability to see what is happening in the round on a higher level and determine whether or not whatever you plan to do will be too much based on how the round is progressing. Yes, you'll sometimes get a "No...there are other antags doing stuff as well" but there might be other times where we are like "You are the only antag left so this is the last chance or ANYTHING happening this round, go for it"

This 1000%. Also, sec has their comms tapped by antags almost every single round. Welcome to our world.
I personally hate being tapped into all comms when I'm an antag cuz I actually enjoy not knowing everything that is happening, it makes things more exciting for me, but I also don't care if I get caught. The chase and getting caught also makes things interesting. And yes...being hunted down by sec doesn't always mean you need to murder all of them. Its actually okay to put up a fight and then have them catch you. Or you can just safely complete your objectives and hide in a locker for over an hour having a casual conversation on sec comms. Cuz that's super exhilarating. I'd literally rather spend the round in perma...or dead

Well I grew up on Alpha Centauri on one of those big ol Habitat stations that the various groups ran there and here I am growing up and well I end up paying some people some things I can't get them in and I end up having to work for this shady group calling themselves The anti-facist movement and they hide and protect me from the gangs who want my head and then they ask for a favor and I owe my life to them so I figure sure and they tell me they just need me to work on a station for a bit and to steal some jetpack and get a set of documents from another agent and I figure thats pretty easy and that it wouldn't hurt anyone too bad so off I go
It wasn't easy and well one step from another and for some reason some random seccy orders me arrested for no valid reason and I like the good samaritan I am go to ask the captain if he might go about removing it because there wasn't any given reason for the warrant and while waiting around I end up getting beaten and brought before sec to be searched and they just so happen to find the little syndicate toy I was using to listen in on them sec and command comms and I call out how bullshit this whole thing was and they even agree that it was total BS and I end up being dragged into perma like some murderous killer and there I meet the other people who I would eventually try to escape with and god bless that poor clown because he never saw that gibbing coming at him
So we go running out and near instantly we run into trouble but by god do we book it pst em until a couple of stun prods knock down my friends and fellow escapees so I try to take down the HoS so I can get on with my life and try to not to die and maybe just maybe make it back to my poor ma and pa who are probably worried sick about me since I went and signed up with the syndicate
But I figure I won't even see them again and that I'll die alone and forgotten in some prison station or maybe even right here and now
God forbid I be able to make penance for my mistakes
