You seem to have taken it personally that the cult got dunked on. I'm pretty sure Norwest didn't send the ERT to personally punish the Cultists or you, or to ruin anyone's round.
Admins make mistakes sometimes - I once banned the entire server due to using the wrong panel - and it seems Norwest tried to correct this by adding more cultists, even though the ERT had no actual effect I can see. All I can really see this admin complaint achieving is some weird 'victory' over Norwest because you take it way too seriously who wins and loses. Your salt in deadchat shows how weirdly personally you took who wins or loses in a videogame.
Norwest made a mistake, realised this, and tried to correct it all within the space of one round. No harm no foul. Admin complaints shouldn't be used to progress your own weird vendettas, but to actually address serious errors or misconduct by the admin staff.
Complaint is without merit and resolved.

Yeah, if someone picks medical borg and then patrols maint 'just in case' they run into a changling they get to saw i'd kinda call that validhunting. But laws are laws.

Borgs are to follow their lawsets/AI master, and act as if they were put on the station by NT to help the station.
That often includes helping against terrorist threats, as long as that is within their lawset. Their chassis is their specialty in tools, but does not affect SoP/server rules/etc - just like when a civilian picks up a toolbelt, nothing changes. Their 'role' is borg, regardless of the chassis. A generalist module is able to do a variety of things.
A service borg still has to follow their laws, which means preventing crew harm and following orders on crewsimov - including sacrificing themselves if need be to prevent crew harm. If they're on robocop or the like, then even medical borgs should be chasing down a changeling and circular-sawing them if it is in line with their laws.

I'm going to have to agree here. The level of frustration and anger really doesn't seem in proportion to how utterly minor this is. Sometimes admins misjudge how well antags are doing, it happens all the time. Sometimes antags get dunked before ERT can even arrive.
Adding more antags back in seems a good way to rebalance things, and overall it seems Norwest did a decent job of trying to keep the round interesting.
@Boidca - what resolution to you expect to see from this complaint?

Yeah, we're unpaid amateurs here. Professionalism I reserve for people who deserve it, or if I'm getting paid. Rule 0 should make it pretty clear what level of professionalism we deal with here.
I'll reiterate - you're blowing this way out of proportion with your bullshit analogies and victim complex. You acted like a donk over possibly the most minor thing an admin has ever spoken to someone about, and managed to escalate it into a ban. It's frankly impressive.
I'll lock this now until one of the other heads gets around to it. If you want to whine more though and speak to my manager after you've spoken to Meow's, Exadv1 is more than happy for you to whine about how you're a victim of such awful abuse.

The other headmins will have to be the ones to resolve this - something they'll surely appreciate - but let me address a few things here.
Overall:
You're behaving much like a 'Karen' and generally being incredibly whiny and petulant about something that could simply be resolved by you saying 'oh sorry it won't happen again' and realising you made a mistake and misinterpreted things.
You're exactly the kind of player I don't want on this server, making a huge deal over...being messaged by an admin, a few windows popping up, and getting frozen.
You fucked up in an incredibly minor way, were given a very minor warning, and have blown this out to be a huge deal of 'abuse' and have managed to get yourself banned.
Specifically:
Admin-freezing does no damage.
Most people expect an acknowledgement of a warning or some form of reply when they initiate conversation with you. It's just basic manners.
If this is the kind of thing that gets you angry, then grow up.

Hi there,
As a non security officer, you shouldn't be trying to apprehend or assault people unless in self-defense. Although it's not perusing people through maint, it's going much outside the intended role of non-sec here. If a sec officer had come across this situation, you could have made things a lot more complicated and difficult, because you would have been guilty of assault by attacking them (EoCs are still subject to, and protected by space law.)
If you really think this is person is an armed and dangerous killer who belongs to a terrorist organisation, throwing punches at him is incredibly stupid behaviour and likely to get you killed. Don't bring fists to a cleaver fight.
Meow was correct in that if there isn't an actual victim at the time to save, you should report it to security and move along. It's sec job to choose how to deal with antags. It's fair enough to run up to do what you can to save people - that's what an 'active threat' is. If your actions are going to save the life of someone who is being actively threatened, then you're allowed to intervene. If they've run off and disguised themselves, it's no longer an 'active threat'.
It seems you didn't understand what is meant in the rules by 'active threat'. That's fine, and admins are there to clarify that. I'm here to clarify that what you were doing is not considered an appropriate response, and is a breach of the rules as per 'valid hunting'. The admin warning you about this isn't at all trying to 'intimidate' you, unless you count 'follow the rules or you will be banned' as intimidation. In which case yes, every note and PM and interaction from an admin is 'trying to intimidate you'. Although in this case, a ban would have been quite suited considering your shitty attitude and 3 previous bans. Meow was frankly more merciful than I would have been, especially after you accused them of corruption with 0 evidence.
To jump to accusations of metacomms and adminbuse shows a frankly, shitty and hostile attitude. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate if Meow had accused you of metacomms with another player with no evidence at all whatsoever. This goes both ways. I do not appreciate you throwing accusations out like this with no evidence.

Hi there,
If you think having a window forced open so you can respond to a warning is abuse, then I am absolutely baffled at your definition of abuse. You were frozen until a reply showing you'd acknowledged the warning was given. No harm was done here, all you had to do was reply "Sorry, won't happen again" or the like, and it'd all be over and you'd be back to playing.
Plenty of people slip up and accidentally use net speak. 99% of them are able to give a polite acknowledgement of the warning. You're the 1% who carry on like a pork chop, and act as if you're some victim of 'abuse' here.You're absolutely not. Meow was very polite in the PMs - Here's the 'threat' of a ban without warning:

Mind you, I'd say being PM'd then having a window to reply opened repeatedly is quite some warning.

Clearly 'reply to the message' never occurred to you, although it does occur to a staggeringly vast majority of people here. This does not mean Meow was 'abusive' at all.

The emergency kit is not meant to be able to heal yourself with. It's meant to be short term protection from space and stabilization in an emergency. If you need to get repairs, go to robotics, or get the tools from one of the many, many places you can get them.

Hi there,
Not using netspeak is to do with the RP atmosphere, as having people speak like they're in a chat room makes it feel less like a professional workplace. You're free to use netspeak in written capacities (Eg, PDA messages), but that should be avoided with 'serious' roles such as the NT Rep. As tempting as it is, me posting 'lol get rekt m8' to this complaint wouldn't be particularly professional.
If you don't like how we run the server in regards to netspeak, you're free to go find a server that does - it's pretty clear that our staff and players generally like a server where people don't talk in such a way. But there is nothing here to complain about in the conduct of the admins. You not liking the rules we've had for the entire time this server has been run is your problem, not ours.
Complaint is without merit, and considered resolved.

So as far as head approval goes - not an issue. We've approved about 100 or so. That's not an issue at all.
Really, there's one perfect solution to this: We chain up the maints in a basement on an IV drip of Amphetamines. But supposedly that's 'illegal' and 'unethical'. It worked great with Ponies tbh.
Look, frankly I'd love for the maints to be more active. I'd love more hours out of them. If you read this - please be more active and do more work for 0 pay and negative respect.
But in the end, this is a volunteer project. The biggest thing that they've told me would help with this, is for the contributors and community to stop treating them like shit. Every. Single. Maint. Ever. Has complained to me about how toxic the github is, and how much they hate 'the communities' reaction to them moving rapidly.
If you want more shit done, give us the permission to do move quickly on things without the abuse, toxicity, and general bullshit we have to endure from it.

Hi there,
Having "finished" your job does not change how you should act in relation to Validhunting - this goes for all jobs, regardless of it being lowpop or not, and roles without a job such as civilian. Going around maint to clean up cult runes is very much security's job, and not something non-security should be doing. Additionally, cleaning the runes can destroy evidence security might require, and actively hinder them. Being in maint around runes is also very suspicious, and may make securities job harder because they will have to search you and check if you are a cultist. If you're seen cleaning runes, they might suspect you're trying to cover up evidence of cultists. Breaking into places also makes securities job harder, as you're now committing crimes.
If you wish to assist security against antags, permission is needed from the HoS/Captain, and generally requires joining security itself - especially because of the need for a mindshield implant. This is the same for most jobs - if you want to assist medbay, you should transfer to medbay. If you come across a situation organically (not going through maint looking for them), then feel free to assist - in much the same way as if you came across someone bleeding out, then healing them up and taking them to medbay is fine, and not poaching the Paramedic's job. The issue is actively seeking out (or hunting for) these things. If you want to actively interfere with antagonists, you need to do this through the correct channels by joining the security team.
As the warning was within line with our rules, this complaint is without merit and can be considered resolved.
