  1. Yes, exactly. Otherwise you'd have to reconstruct the door for it to make sense.
  2. Absolutely, although I'd like to see two additional mini janitorial rooms spread across the station so that janitors can have more options (and supplies). Especially space cleaner refill stations. Or alternatively build a few such reflill stations into walls in all departments.
  3. I'd like to add more indications (not just about oxygen deprivation) like sweating in a hot room (30*C and up) and some appropriate problems living in overpressurized room (130 kPA?), also shivering in cold temperatures.
  4. Maybe make the door face the lounge (carpet)? It'd make more sense. Also, to encourage RP it'd be cool to make a separate access field for it. So that you could start a small business and hire people IC (with the aid of HoP, naturally) and keep it off-limits to random greytide.
  5. >Implying mouse traps were coded in as a useful feature.
  6. I've seen some ugly stacking and as such I'd like a minor change. Current times seem mostly alright, so no thanks.
  7. Warden is usually overrun. He interrogates people, releases prisoners, sets criminals to *arrest* when AI is incompetent and a bunch of other things. Also armory.
  8. He killed one op. Three ops. One op was finished off with his own e-sword, the other one (blind) was robusted while he was searching the captain's body, and the third died of critical wounds sometime later because he happened to be in the way of the esword during the first encounter. Also: no crew members survived. ERT was greeted by corpses.
  9. Captain's office requires this table!
  10. Crazy round indeed. A chef with a cleaver (and later an e-sword) managed to kill three ops.
  11. Make it a useless karma job like Barber. +1
  12. tl;dr No, this is a mess. These names are too complicated and it's hard to imagine what they'd look like in SS13. And descriptions are confusing. Of course I'd like some implants or H+ things (mainly from Deus Ex franchise), like combat mechanical arms (deal bonus damage, are more resistant), that Access (Uplink?) comms thing (non-genetic telepathy!). Some other things like the Dead Switch (Killswitch in Deus Ex) are already here via chemical/explosive implants. Dazzler sounds very interesting. But as someone else said, I'd like to keep weapons to minimum. I want enough unique implants to feel like it's 26th Century, but weapons shouldn't really be available on a station like Cyberiad. It's not a top secret military station. But for Death Squad? Yeah, why not? Oh, and thanks for making a suggestion thread. How about some nanites?
  13. The point is - you don't need more powerful explosions. It's just an excuse to grief. You don't want to kill half of a department, because there's too much collateral damage.
  14. No need to have even more bomb-related bans for blowing up half the station. No, seriously, I am tired of this whole antag bombing affair. It just fucks up the game. There's a special rule even.
  15. We already have a separate revoke maintenance access requirement button. It works well when you're fighting blob or other things. And IMO blue alert is the intelligence gathering phase - we know something's wrong, but we have no idea where to begin or who's our real target. Red alert would be for the elimination of the target. Or when you know you can't let the shuttle come (Space Ebola outbreak, cultists everywhere, revolution).
  16. Doesn't that go againt the notion of effectively having police state at red? Why would you let criminals go into maintenance since red alert is mostly to fight the said criminals (weapons unholstered, random searches)? Makes no sense. Something has to change.
  17. Pretty much this. It encourages player interaction and RP---and the vast majority of the time the scientists will make you one as it becomes available at data level 2. I second that.
  18. Wow, nice idea. You can't blame people for trying to save themselves!
  19. Maintenance access is really handy for the times when you can't get to your workplace because the main hallways were damaged or depressurized. Although yeah, the access is typically abused. Personally I'm satisfied with what we have now.
