  1. This. Needs more integration.
  2. Apply that to ballistic weapons. Make the hearing damage progressive so that you require medications after a prolonged time. Make whispers unhearable at one point, or garbled, even when someone is next to you.
  3. A Xeno just destroys APCs in the bridge so that alert/ERT/CC can not be called. It happened a few times in a row already, I hate it. And even if you let them destroy APCs, make it a multi-step process.
  4. This verb makes less sense now when oxy damage was buffed. You suffocate very fast now.
  5. Add some 10 years to your age, otherwise you're as old as Cy.
  6. It's not without price, Fox. Read carefully.
  7. But gameplay-wise: I can imagine the Enhanced RP. Adding this wouldn't hurt.
  8. I'm sensing some butthurt. Basically: a) bug can not be reproduced locally, b) bug has been seen a couple of times on live server and confirmed by multiple witnesses, c) a plan must be devised on how to identify the cause and/or reproduce it consistently (live or locally). We're all on the same team, remember? Also: it's a global problem (not a personal one) and we're just reporting it here. EDIT: It's a moot point now. It was just tested on live and it's real, bug fixing is in progress.
  9. What about languages that have frequency contents exceeding the intercom/headset's DAC/ADC/speaker/microphone capabilities? I mean - how would you represent a 27 kHz whine?
  10. Different topic: alienq queen sprite? Can't we just shrink the big ones so that the alien queen won't look like a damned hunter?
  11. Need more competitive things.
  12. Yeah, we're talking about the same round. It was insane.
  13. I just had an alien round. We shot the larva like 20 times with energy guns and it was still going strong. All larvas were a pain in the ass to kill, whether melee or not. LOOC was even talking about immortal larvas.
  14. Bathing in hot/warm water for at least 2 hours while checking the interwebz and/or listening to music. Once a week.
  15. Remove or make it rare enough. And disable it for more shit, like the null rod (never even heard of it getting stuck!). The claymore is way too annoying. And I love the idea of this "sticking in wound" shit being in fact crittical damage and knock over.
  16. I believe these descriptions used to be better... Seriously, something's wrong here! Needs more inside jokes!
  17. The whole idea is that the victim (or the one going to explode and become the blob) was unaware of this biohazard inside his body. So he explodes in seemingly good/critical places. But if you want to make Blob smarter and add some mind-changing chemical shit, then why not? It's real-world inspired, after all.
  18. ^ Holy shit, well said. Eloquent, precise and comprehensive. You basically summed it all up. My two cents: you can think of Cyberiad in sci-fi soap opera terms. Even Enterprise in Star Trek had lots of fun shit onboard, including a holodeck that would let you dress up and play scenarios. Also: in what way are fedoras or colorful shoes ridiculous? We've got the AutoDrobe back - the biggest gripe (in theory). What about the hats, then?
  19. Spaceman, are you sure you're talking about this suggestion? The guy wants to make the combat more interesting so that you can have more tactical options and practical considerations.
  20. Supercopping as AI is as easy if not even easier as before. See some strange people assembling in Medbay? Call the cops. Shady activity in cargo? Call the HoP to check it. Telescience fuckups? Use the damned holopad and question the telescientist! When in doubt, bolt him in. Frankly, holopads are superior to intercoms. You're spotted immediately, yes, and nobody likes such invasion of privacy - and that's why supercop AI has never been more condom. In exchange you're getting more false alarms (and keep security in constant high alert, too), but if you're being proactive enough, crime prevention and succesful antag hunting can be easily accomplished. The new toys like robot control (oh hello, you filthy vandal, here's my Beepsky for you!) and med/sec HUDs more than make up for the loss of lip-reading. And I forgot to mention the new examine option. Murder or SSD? Nah, just SSD. *click* Voila, medical status changed to SSD. All in all, I believe we've got some unforeseen consequences. These changes actually made a supercop AI even more feasible to play, as described by Wintermote.
  21. The AI can already see emotes/actions in the bridge (in the range of the core) regardless of AI eyes position. You have a point. Also keep in mind that AI can, for instance, see loot from a dead body even out of its camera range. Very useful bug for seeing murders in maintenance.
  22. We need more bugs in the game. Thanks!
