  1. It's all about being passive and not posing a threat. I was more worried about that security derpsquad than anything, especially since they already had Ssirus. I also wanted to hide in a wall, but somehow missed the fire closet.
  2. Reminds me of that silly American movie where aliens had to chew gum to live without costlty suits on Earth.
  3. Exactly. This puts all the responsibility on the head.
  4. It was supposed to be a test. Ssirus had an idea to use the pneumatic cannon as a weapon and I figured that it could be used as a grenade launcher. The first load was 100/100 water/potassium and it was fairly strong, but then he said that it can be done better. And his new calculations were crazy, I thought, so we agreed to test it somewhere. Obviously not on the station. And CC bombing was captain's brilliant idea when he overheard us on the science radio channel (obviously alluding to post-round grief). When the derpsquad arrived on the RnD shuttle (on Research Outpost) I knew I had to bail. So I accidentally hid in the same room as Junko. I was there pretending to be brain-dead lying on a bed. Kinda hilarious. LOOC was raving. In the end I had no clue what was going on with this strange questioning.
  5. That feeling when you're finally free after 20 minutes in cloning...
  6. Thanks, Fox, for your insight. I just wanted to point out that the 10-second PWNAGE is batshit crazy compared to the 1-2 minutes required by your typical human syndie squad to bring down the AI satellite.
  7. Yeah. When it comes to manually bombing the AI minisat, the AI usually has at least a minute to react (camera alarm if a minibomb is planted, backup power etc.) Here I had luck that I spotted it just as it went into the cleanbot room. I am just saying that dying at round start... is not fun. And there is no counter. And it isn't hard to pull off (also it is practically impossible to counter). Hell, even making the Syndiborg NOT immune to turrets would help a little.
  8. Short story: Syndiborg comes in, unlocks shit, comes in, turrets can't do shit, APC off, Syndiborg laser. Poof AI dead in 10 seconds. This is why AI Minisat is not a very good thing. AI gets killed 50% of the time at the start of nuke ops assault. Syndi Borg is OP here. I barely had time to make Vox announcements and call the shuttle.
  9. He was unjustifiably brigged for theft. Without any evidence. As I wrote in my first post: I would've gotten him out of jail.
  10. Sec HUD can be easily made in RnD as far as I know. Support.
  11. Too many hardsuits. Too many engineers permanently stuck in them strolling the hallways. Too little workers in vests, hard caps and tape. Quality over quantity! No, really, they should be for emergencies only. Make it count.
  12. Building in a room versus changing departments and making something belonging to engineering into a surgery room connected to Medbay. There's a difference. One does not simply break the wall dividing two departments. Seriously, I don't care if people do cool shit with simple rooms, but remodelling the station's layout without telling the captain first is exceeding one's official power. Especially considering that it took place between two departments. Damn, you have very simple transfer papers that in theory require the department's head approval - so why would an additional surgery room (with the allocated space originally belonging to engineering) NOT require clear authorization? It was one damned engineer. Well, you can argue that he was caught early and no harm was done (yet), but the intent was clear - I am going to make this project without asking authorities for permission - and it is this mindset that justifies punishment. Unless we're light RP, of course. The punishment being lenient and corrective in nature, since the intent wasn't malicious. Think about all the mess: engineer(s) strolling in Medbay, connecting shit up, potentially stealing medical items or even messing with patients. Especially considering that the third surgery room isn't even required. Okay for extended. For traitor rounds when everyone is busy? Not so much.
  13. People are having problems using the Security HUD to release prisoners and you expect them to handle the 911 system? It has to be intuitive, fast, simple.
  14. Usually I do this when I am the captain, since I have access to all channels by default.
  15. That's the point. 1 person.
  16. Read the announcement. Feel free to join the private server.
  17. So that you can crawl through flaps? Very nice...
  18. I'd like to see two things: 1. Additional kitchen/botany windoor so that botanist will finally stop hopping over and ruining the room. 2. Separate shutter buttons for Bar/Hallway so that the chef can opt for having his kitchen open to bar only or to hallway only. It really isn't much but should improve matters a little bit.
