  1. Perhaps a better idea for the Shadowling Enthrallment. The Ghost takes over the body, but the person taken over becomes sort of like a holoparasite? Able to talk to their 'master'.
  2. True but the difference is, if it's snatching ghosts. All you need is one guy determined to be a drone to dronify the entirety of dead chat. Not everyone normally joins as a drone.
  3. So, right now, Antag Objectives are fairly random. What if rather than randomly assigning objectives at round start. You instead got a certain number of Objective Points, and could use these to claim Objectives off the Objective Board. With which you could claim objectives. So you could choose whether you wanted a Protect or Assassinate, or whatever. In order to keep people from always choosing Hijack, make it so that when you COMPLETE your objectives, you can report back to the Syndicate. If the objective is fulfilled, (You have the stolen item in your hand, or the target is dead or what have you.) You increase in rank and get MORE objective points and possibly a couple of Telecrystals. Keep climbing the ranks until the round ends or you get arrested/killed.
  4. This does seem like a good idea. The only Issue that occurs to me is that one could camp the fabricator and Emag every drone produced. Since it would force ghosts into the drone, you could produce as many subservient drones as their are ghosts, rather than the limit being "However many people have become drones."
  5. Balance out =/= Fix Genetic instability.
  6. .... What. You can't fix Instability. The DNA vault is the only way to fix genetic instability. If you give someone Hulk, TK, and X-ray. They will melt until you remove some things. Unless they've been through the DNA vault.
  7. As mentioned above. The DNA vault stabilizes your genes, meaning, that if you normally load someone up on all the cool powers, their face melts off unless they take healing chems every few minutes. The DNA vault stops that from happening. Basically turning you into the genetic power version of Adam Jenson.
  8. Make Non-Cultists/Vampires who 'overdose' on holy water into 'true converts' who believe the Chaplain is the highest authority on the station. Then chaplains faking a cult as a traitor has a point besides just throwing off security, and discourages Security from dousing everyone in holy water.
  9. Nope. It will occasionally happen on cycling during the atmos experiments.
  10. Heresy. All Cluwnes must be purged.
  11. The Warden is not a mini HoS. The Warden is responsible for the brig and armory and only the brig and armory.
  12. Is talking while deafened and in local space with people close enough to see you really that much of a balance concern? You can't sign language over a radio, so it's not like it's going to effect anyone who can't see you already. And generally people can mime things already to communicate. This just makes it slightly easier at the cost of your secondary language.
  13. That is literally the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It would be painful yes. But Look on the bright side. Nothing you ever experience will hurt that much ever again.
  14. Y'know what else is ubiquitous? Water and Potassium. Bombings happen all the time in this game. More frequently than emps even. And they offer about as much way to counter them as EMPs do.
  15. Could just do things the shadowrun way. All circuitry is Fiber Optic rather than purely electrical. On the other hand, the EMP should frag the IPC's power source. Because that IS electrical. They've got a few moments to scream for help or try to stumble to robotics before the power already in their system runs out and they collapse and 'die' But yeah, with how stupid easy it is to revive IPC's? Not exactly a problem that EMP's frag them.
  16. It's not so much the name as the creep towards offloading authority off station. When it got to the point where security wasn't allowed to execute people because "What government would allow a corporation to do that?" Well..
  17. https://wiki.baystation12.net/How_To_Sol_Gov_Guide
  18. When I was active there, they called it SolGov more often than not. Admittedly that was almost two years ago now.
  19. Personally, seeing the results it had on Bay, I disapprove of any and all SolGov activity in the area the station operates in.
  20. Y'know what could be a neat traitor item? Haunted Slab. When you use it, you take some brute damage to cut yourself on it. Creates a 'portal' for ghosts to spawn through with the goal of causing havoc. However they know who opened the way for them and are forbidden from interfering in their work. Perhaps it could create a revenant every so often?
  21. I still like the idea of Assassination objectives. Perhaps add a requirement to assassinate someone in a public place? Then if they die someplace that isn't public it doesn't count.
  22. IPC can have their heads removed. Which blinds them but doesn't kill them.
  23. I really like this idea, though bombing seems a bit much. Perhaps as a contrast to traitors give them a storage implant with two items appropriate to their mission? For example. One who's goal is to break traitors out of the brig could have a boxed space suit and suspicious toolbox.
  24. You can break out of permanent from the inside if you plan for it. And don't get nailed by a meteor.
  25. Umm we have litteral resurection chemicals.
