    Gameplay wise?

They don't breathe, immune to viruses (unless the RNG is evil and makes them patient zero), are easy to repair, and never have to worry about hunger so long as they have access to an APC, also their bodies don't process reagents so any form of poisoning isn't an issue (including changeling stings//radiation/Chloral hydrate etc, they're accurately described as walking beakers).

However, they're very easy to break, a few hits will tear off limbs, extremely vulnerable to low pressure, they can't self heal so even minor damage adds up, at the moment can't use hard-suits due to overheating, and most people have no idea/can't be bothered to properly revive them.

They are however great fun to play as, especially in malf rounds or as a cannibal chef, but ATM being one is a massive disadvantage if you have any plans to be robust.

And they can't ping beep or buzz either :x

  2. People with "flavour" text describing their "nice sized bottoms" "swaying hips that draw your attention" "generously proportioned bosom" and "light tinted skin that shines like a lunar eclipse", I know its the future and everyone gets free surgery but its just so cringeworthy.

Being captured after fucking up being a traitor, being declared innocent after a trial and seeing the supercop who arrested me brigged for pulling a frame job.

The great thing about SoP is that not following it is a great way to let the magistrate pardon everyone.

Getting a proper balance between both roles having something to do would be rather difficult but it could be done. There would only be one rescue tech so they would either lack manpower or have to rely on atmos for support. They also wouldn't have atmos access or access to to really any bits of atmos equipment.

I can see the role functioning alongside atmos techs. Rescue techs would play a frontline role (gaining access, doing the brunt of firefighting, helping treat/rescue the wounded) while atmos techs would either stay in atmos manning the atmos alarm computer or help support the recue tech (managing air alarms onsite, using cans/airscrubbers and pumps)

I think the main difference would be rescue techs (surprise! :P) saving people (or rather, their mangled corpses), and the atmos techs fixing the damage/putting the fire out for good.

Granted, but at the end of each announcement the clown honks so hard that the station becomes deaf for 5-10 minutes.

I wish for civilians to have captains id

They also spawn with an electropack on their backs, at the toxins test site.

I wish tarajan/Unathi/Vox could use their tails to slap people.

You were that guy? I turn off my internals for 5 seconds, then N2O floods the room, and I get caught in a fire.

Yeah, the plan WAS to just knock everyone out, laser the humans, and run off, that was after subverting the AI failed due to it being SSD and the borgs being blown.

But apparently N20 is flammable, I got caught in it then saw a bunch of folks safe and sound within the escape airlocks, they all saw me dragging in the sleepy gas so without really thinking I used the emergency bomb I was carrying.

Didn't end well, so many gibs :P

Granted, but instead of you eating the fried singulo, the deep fried singulo eats you.

I wish there were random spiderlings around the station in maint that do not grow to monsters in seconds and are tamable.

Come on, who doesnt want a tarantula as pet?

Everyone can have pet spoders, when the tame spiderlings spread the spider vomiting virus.

I wish the drinks dispenser was hackable to poison all the beer.

I remember an admin event during an extended round a while ago where a Grey trade ship smuggled some borers aboard, I spawned in as one, and although we purposely didn't reproduce or even act antaggy anarchy still ensured as everyone went batshit insane at the prospect of no more than 4 brain slugs being aboard.

Its a great idea for a gamemode, but unfortunately in practice its just not suitable for the playerbase.

    ???

Isn't that kind of the point of a Blueshield, ignore the clown breaking into EVA, tag him for sec and just keep the heads safe?

Most of the blueshields I've seen inevitably end up being super cop, med sun glasses to lure them away from the sec HuDs can only be a good thing.

Granted, but suddenly all the engineers become incompetent and screw up the singularity every round.

I wish that Pun Pun wouldn't be killed every round.

The chef won't need to, since Ian now spawns in the kitchen freezer.

I wish slime people could husk victims by draining them of water.

In a freak teleport accident the satchel mutates and tries to eat everyone.

I wish engineering had another engine type.

An engine that is fueled with the souls of competent crew members.

I wish mark III IPC's were playable, in all their terminatorish glory.

If they're a hacking nurse, that gets very close to rule (8?) about being a mary sue and doing everything from different jobs, which Fathauran, is against the rules.

Its usually acceptable to know one or two department areas outside of your actual job.

Door hacking nurse would probably be okay, door hacking bomb making nurse who knows how to set up a singularity probably less so.

You have to remember its a "light RP" server, so people aren't expected to handicap themselves, so long as they don't go over board with knowing everything that is.
