  1. Please no, do not involve CC in this. CC has no rules, no personality, it's too chaotic.
  2. Very smart idea. Personally, I yell at officers/physicians who simply ditch the antag's body instead of cremating or spacing it. But should we allow the implant to be used on living people? I mean, it's definitely a cool feature that would work against permabrig fugitives. *shivers* I honestly think Brig implants need some love. This would be a step in the right direction. The cloner could return a message "Anti-cloning chip present. Aborting." on scanning. The chip would simply communicate with the cloner. We could also emag the console/cloning pod so it would clone regardless, and that's a fun use for a traitor!
  3. A bad case of guns shooting guns, I suppose.
  4. I agree, Davidchan went offtopic a little. A better example would be a pickpocketer, emptying either the highly visible exosuit storage slot or the exosuit slot itself. The contents will land on the floor and be easily 'pocketable', if you pardon the pun. A backpack on the other hand would require the criminal to a) pick up the highly visible bag, b) occupy his second hand to check the contents and click the stuff they want, c) Ctrl+E the new item to put it in his own storage, d) likely throw away the new bag. That's more steps. Alternatively, he could simply click-drag the backpack on the floor to get to the contents faster, but it's arguably easier to lose the loot this way. By carrying weapons on your armor you make it easier for people to rob you, because a) they know what you're carrying and b) there are less steps involved in taking it. It's hypothetical, of course. Personally, I love putting the stunbaton on my belt slot for the convenience of quickdrawing and also to look more dangerous.
  5. TheDZD, Fox and Dave say that if we were to replace the revolver, it'd be best to replace it with an energy gun, not an advanced stun revolver. I'm sticking with the Advanced Stun Revolver. How about you, guys?
  6. In a nutshell, yes. It'd be cool if we could keep it reasonably deadly with all these shrapnels and not OP. Most damage should come from flying objects and embedding, not from pressure or chems.
  7. Valid point, I'll use it from now on.
  8. Should be like a PDA bomb, but with shrapnels.
  9. Sad stories you've got there. Also: Maxwell confirmed unrobust. (just kidding, my Kidan Officer also had some unlucky moments...)
  10. Come on, we have object embedding, but only have pressure bombs? Frag nades are classic. Less structural damage, more soft target damage. Would fit cramped space stations much better.
  11. Exactly. Sounds fun. Nations is just Rev 3.0
  12. If you want to powergame, just buy yourself a privileged race. Vox is the cheapest. Plasmamen blueshields basically have a security hardsuit with no slowdown and that is my go-to race.
  13. Antags will only further the diplomatic chaos and violence.
  14. Something should be done about it.
  15. Yes, it can hardly be called a makeshift weapon because of the requirements.
  16. Just build a cryopod that would semi-permanently freeze your character, a cryoprison. There's nothing to do in Perma and it should stay this way!
  17. All bug reports go there. Make an account because you will be able to comment on actual PRs and implemented (not)suggestions. Lots of other things clip, for instance certain robotic limbs.
  18. In other words, bombs just became tactical.
  19. Only losers (or people playing on small screens) have their tasers on their armor slot. It's too far away for me from the center of the game area, and it's clearly visible upon examination. Having my bag open makes for better quickdrawing and accuracy as I don't have to move my cursor sideways [to the left and right]. Security holsters. Hm. Meh.
  20. Well, I see where it's going. I just don't like the nerf to these two roles when it's time for crisis management. Some command staff is already sluggish in this aspect, and in some extreme cases when most of command is incapacitated/dead, the NT Representative will play even less of a role. Isn't the point of stationary swipers to force Command to drop whatever they're doing (and become vulnerable for a moment) to do something together in unison? What would happen if a traitor managed to gain access to two head IDs and a mobile swiper? He'd be able to give himself emergency maintenance access at will. It's only a problem for newcomers or people with severe lag. You have to learn how to swipe. It's a very simple procedure: 1. Announce that you're ready to swipe and that you will initiate it, swipe when the other party says they're ready. 2. Announce that you're ready to swipe and that the other party will initiate it, keep your eyes on the swiper and click the moment it blinks blue. 3. Alternatively keep swiping until you succeed, the other party will have to do the second half of procedure no. 2. 10 seconds is a fucking overkill. When I think about swiping, I imagine a scene from Terminator. Yes. What we have right now is a fiddly placeholder. We've had ERT mechanics changed some time ago. Previously you'd get a huge automatic announcement that ERT has been called. It's been requested multiple times already.
  21. When that shotgun was added, I remember that it was clearly stated that it's so hard to make for a reason. I think it's meant to be a rare item for nerds that's almost never used.
