Basically, a 1 TC Traitor Item: a non-breakable, re-usable bobby pin that, so long as it is in one of your pockets, lets you break out of handcuffs in 15-20 seconds!

Has no effect on zipties or cable cuffs, though, for obvious reasons.

Courtesy of Tigercat2000 for the idea!

I like it, but it also shouldn't work against being buckled. And it 100% should not be counted as Contraband in any way. Make 'em spawn in maint and a few in the locker room. If possible give them a legit, non-criminal use, like allowing you to equip it to your head slot to change your hairstyle on the go.

I read the title as "Firing pin" for about ten seconds and was about to murder you.

As for the item itself, sure.

so long as it is in one of your pockets

Guaranteed to work one out of every hundred tries on the extremely off chance someone doesn't insta-strip you. Not worth the TC. Unless it could be used while moving too.

If you target your mouth and use it on yourself, you can hold it in your mouth to pick locks. As soon as you open your mouth to talk, it falls out.

To be honest, if security saw you trying to unlock, they'd stun you down anyways. It is best used when you aren't being watched.

Syndie-pin that does it in 10-20, identical looking commonish maint shit version that takes 20-30?

9/10 times first thing sec does is empty your pockets anyway, the lazier ones take your jumpsuit...

Ear slot? Finally, a legitimate reason to wear that gas mask.

From a realistic standpoint these would work just fine on zipties since those just require you to stick something smooth into the locking thingy at the rough side of the tie
