  1. Not quite as fast as the ambulance or janicart though.
  2. I've never experienced that myself (but tbh i never use the power that much)
  3. I think they meant colourful Vox. Not literal LOOK AT MY PLUMAGE *floof* kind of peacocks. Although that would be fucking hysterical.
  4. It's the same, but it's very underwhelming.
  5. One in Mining, One in Engineering, One in EVA.
  6. Has he stopped work on the Mechanic? Or is he still waiting on that commit to make space pods destroyable
  7. So I was in IRC today and there were two neat ideas for Drone variants and I'd just like to see what everybody else thinks, and if anybody else has some more interesting suggestions. Bearing in mind these ideas come from people who have no idea how easy these are to implement. Servitor Drone - Can carry items from A to B. Food, Tools, Beakers, Heads, whatever. Can dispense food from vending machines. Can be picked up and drank from like a reagent container, and displays whatever item/drink/whatever it is carrying on its head. Law Drone - Resembles a briefcase. Can be carried and things can be placed inside and taken out of it just like a briefcase. Carries a Forensic Scanner, Voice recorder, can edit security records and has a Sec HUD and can summon Beepsky. It isn't allowed to directly intervene or assist in the capture of criminals and is sort of intended as an aid to the Warden, Detective, IA or NT Rep. Lawset would forbid anything beyond setting timers, updating records and scuttling along after the Lawyer.
  8. Nah, there's a very limited spectrum of Vox names. I've been Hatichakayita twice and Kahti... somethingorother twice.
  9. I don't know why Vox can't name themselves. I don't know if it was strange coding, or a deliberate decision but it's nice to actually play a consistent character instead of a random name.
  10. what does this have to do with spacemen
  11. No, Haba. I am very wary of giving a job all access because ~nations~. There are some departments that cannot defend against an early capture from a Blueshield. I know, because I've done it before.
  12. Yeah that'd be really awesome, however, if the borg's rogue the drones should remain on the KEEPER lawset. I've fought an army of drones before and they are extremely powerful.
  13. Yes Qinetix, thank you, I'm very much aware of my responsibilities as Paramedic. However, medbay is often extremely chaotic, and as Paramedic I find myself taking: A) Suicide corpses to medbay and it would be REALLY nice if I could just put them straight in the morgue. B) Robotics Patients straight to the morgue C) Security's Prisoners straight to the morgue D) Changeling victims from genetics/robotics to the morgue Edit: E) WHEN DOCTORS DRAG BODIES INTO THE MORGUE THEY LEAVE THE GODDAMN SUIT SENSORS ON Also I often play a machine person, so I am usually immune to disease. So often I find that I am the only bastard left alive and when you're trying to control a disease outbreak and clone everybody, it's your responsibility to deal with the corpses everywhere. Or people are too busy to deal with bodies. Or it's early in the day and there's nobody to take the bodies. Also Botanists have morgue access because they used to be able to clone people. Before Diona were a thing, they had replica seed pods which could be used to clone someone either as a human or a potato man. Replica pods were changed to Diona seeds but their morgue access was never revoked.
  14. Give the Paramedic access to the Morgue. It is extremely aggrivating that he doesn't, and he has more right to it than the Botanists do.
  15. Yeah true, but when I think of accesses I tend to keep nations in mind. There's no earthly reason why the Blueshield would have cargo access, but he NEEDS Engineering access.
  16. There are some races I think that should have one colour such as the kidan or machine people, but I agree that it wouldn't be too silly if the Vox could be multicoloured. Or as Ponies says, rainbow furry ravers.
  17. I think aliens are scary enough as they are without the equivalent of a malf AI backing them, but I agree the Alien AI needs more functionality.
  18. If we're going by that logic, all loyalty implanted staff would have all-access, but we have to take into account that antagonists need places to do their dirty work, so there must be access restrictions in place.
  19. Everybody needs things from cargo, but not everybody has cargo access. The NT Rep has a good reason to be in cargo but unless he's following the HoP, the Blueshield doesn't. I'm interested in making it possible for the Blueshield to do his job properly whilst keeping some semblence of balance. The Blueshield doesn't need access to all these civilian departments, but he DOES need engineering access and possibly RnD/Research Shuttle access because that's where the CE and RD often are.
  20. As I said, the blueshield's accesses atm make no sense. He doesn't need cargo access.
