  1. From what I've gathered: Atmos can't be used as a weapon Viruses can't be used as a weapon AIs and borgs are allowed to support the nation they were created by/for, but must at least try to remain within their laws You can only kill people who are invading your department. (so you'd better have a very good reason for killing the NT Rep since he can't pick up flags)
  2. Plastic bag + Cable Coils makes a loosely tied bag. Put it on someone's head and it tightens. Someone with wirecutters or a sharp object can just cut it off, a bystander can remove it; but without those two the victim has to spend a while trying to tear their way out of it and they'll either suffocate to death or destroy the bag in the process. (Note: Destroyed bags are still scannable for dna/prints but cannot be reused)
  3. after a point the entire station will be on your refusal of service list and then you'll have to either do your job or get fired (honk)
  4. Firefighter could be an alternate title for the life support specialist. We already have firesuits, though it was a nice idea.
  5. So if the Fireman job is implemented, what are the Atmos Techs/Life Support specialists supposed to do? Fire extinguishing is pretty much their thing.
  6. Also the recent changes to how IPCs behave in atmos makes the heat resistance power lethal to them.
  7. Anyway, no matter how tough or buffed you are, you're always at a disadvantage because you're security. You stand out, you have a code of conduct to stick to, and everybody knows your loadout. Traitor McNukerling has the advantage of surprise, pre-planning and ruthlessness.
  8. Yes it is. IPCs generate heat and are cooled down by the atmosphere around them. So if they put on certain things (like sec armour) that has minor heat resistance they'll warm up to dark orange, but won't die. However, if they put on full-body gear like riot armour, space suits or hardsuits they'll start lethally overheating. What's SUPPOSED to happen is IPCs spawn with suit cooling units (or they spawn on the map) however this is not the case. Not to mention when spawned in, they only work with engineering hardsuits.
  9. karma requirement 450 honk honk honk
  10. What if there's no security?
  11. Glorious. Add it to the Brig Physician and Blueshield as soon as the code issues are fixed pls <3
  12. They don't have access to a t-ray scanner, and i've been mad about it for a while.
  13. Blueshield needs sunglasses incase he needs to guard the HoS, or follow the Captain/CMO/HoP into the brig. Also he needs to be able to defend himself and his charges from revs (flashes are a favourite of revs). He does need a HUD but not a Sec HUD, he needs a medical HUD to protect the heads from viruses, and gauge their health since he doesn't have a health analyser.
  14. IPCs can't be immune to EVERYTHING.
  15. Yeah, in theory that would be nice But its not going to happen I can see about making flashproof med huds for blushield AND the brig physician, pleeeeease? I am not kidding, The Warden will put up mounted flashes and you will be absolutely screwed during busy shifts.
  16. Fires are incredibly lethal and devastating and need quick and decisive action, not 'drastic thinking'. The fire truck's drawback could be it's specialisation. It's very good at fighting fires and nothing else.
  17. I would support this if it was just a med-sunglasses thing that the Blueshield and Brig Physician could use. The Blueshield doesn't really need the sec hud.
  18. That goes for Vox Leap and Grey Project Mind as well, Wubbledaddy. It's not a feature, it's just the way their powers have been coded in, means they get overwritten if they take any genetic powers.
  19. Make sure your welding tool is OFF before refilling it from a fuel tank.
