  1. What about releasing air everywhere on the station with a canister? Too much air is never a bad thing!
  2. Oh, yes, I forgot to add... The Gods (Admins) punished Kei when he was cloned. It felt like Sigurd again.
  3. AI bolted the doors, but didn't shock them, a few officers were standing right next to them. I guess it's a mystery that we will never solve. Unless an admin happens to know. Fun fact, I actually nearly made it out, as a Tajara, had I not stayed behind about twenty seconds more to try and figure out a way to get some of the other officers out of the brig lobby after I had managed to get out (meanwhile they're all screaming at me to run.).
  4. The prisoners were stripped and only had orange jumpsuits when we tossed them in. The lights were also already busted, so I know it wasn't that. I admit, I laughed my ass off, but I was horrified as hell while it was happening.
  5. I, uh, may have been the one who hooked up the plasma canister when the Blueshield brought it in, and the Head of Security said we were going to execute the permabrig prisoners. At first, I thought we had done well, as they were just dying of toxins damage. Perfect, and clean. Then, to my horror, a fire starts and everyone is wiped out. Security, the cult, everything. Deadchat, for the most part, found it hilarious. I earned two karma (Why. WHY.). And they compared it to a concentration camp gone wrong. I still have no idea how the fire started. Lesson learned, don't hook up plasma to the permabrig.
  6. Before I get lynched, let me just say /all/ species have a language only they know. Including humans. I think it would be amusing to let us be able to do this.
  7. If an energy sword got stuck in you, it would slice you right in half along with your insides. If someone threw a knife at you, it would stick inside. Other than that, this feature is unneeded and irritating.
  8. THIS IS KEI, THE AMBASSADOR. KEI WILL BE EXAMINING THE CREW TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE ALL TAJARAN, AND IF THEY AREN'T, THEN INTO THE GIBBER WITH THEM! But, more seriously, I don't really see too many opportunity for RP as an ambassador.
  9. Pretty sure /tg/ has a higher range at the moment, could be wrong on this (Don't play there much anymore.).
  10. If I want to disable my opponent, I use taser/ stun baton stuns (Or break the hands, if I don't have that option.) and then laser/ projectile/ cuff/ rip off the head. Or disarm push. It doesn't need to be complex.
  11. I would prefer we keep to the system we have (Or had, with paincrit stuns.) now. This just makes combat irritating and dull. Being able to push people over is annoying enough. Not to say this is the worst idea, no. But I think realism doesn't make a game fun on its own.
  12. I saved your sorry ass before the captain destroyed you yesterday. Ahaha.
  13. They already point them into my eyes too much.
  14. Kei is a vegetarian in this part of his timeline, though.
  15. Stop right there. Halt. Go home. No. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHY.
  16. Nope, /tg/station has this as well, it was to try and stop Greytide, though the idea failed miserably. We are porting all the /tg/ things, for some reason. You'd THINK if a community was telling you vehemently, over and over, that they don't want these changes, that you wouldn't add them. Or at least consult with the community before doing it. Thirty people want the vending machines back. THIRTY.
  17. I wasn't saying add that in, I was pointing out that Baystation encourages customization.
  18. >Metagaming your inventory. Fox told us the reason for the security inventory nerfs were for 'inventory management'. It seems to be purely annoying to some, but completely hinders others. I still say we revert all the recent security changes minus the new sec pod changes (Put it at paincrit instead of instastun, obviously.) But that's for another thread.
  19. Come on, now, we gotta give revolutionaries SOMETHING to fight security with.
  20. Fuck, Baystation even has a coded in feature so you can customize your character right in the lobby, to an extent. Give them a beret, bomber jacket, sunglasses, webbing vests, whatever (Granted some of these are job tied, meaning you have to be a certain job to wear that item [Officer beret {Blue} would go with security, for example}.). I also find it funny that we do this to 'encourage higher RP standards' but then add in instastuns which destroy a whole lot of those standards.
  21. Link to the wiki page: http://nanotrasen.se/wiki/index.php/Vox This behaviour does not fit very well for member of the security staff, who need to risk their live for the wellbeing of the station. However, from what i could observe, most vox players don't bother applying this lore, and pretend to be bold and 'badass' space birds. TL;DR: Vox are cowards and shouldnt work in security at all. And this means they can't and should be hindered from doing so? I like the lore, but this should /not/ mean that it should hinder gameplay. If they do it well, then I say go with it.
  22. Again, we need to revert to what we had before Fox started nerfing/ porting things over.
  23. The whole point of this game is how silly and paranoia inducing it is. Roleplay is very important, too, yes, don't get me wrong. NanoTrasen wouldn't hire pretty much /ANY/ of the players In game characters we come up with.
