  1. The series is currently showing on Syfy. Looked cool, watched a few episodes and decided to read the book series. And holy crap. That series is good.

Basic synopsis: In the future the human race has settled across the known galaxy. Earthers, Martians, and Belters  (those born anywhere but on a planet). You follow the story of a crew of ice haulers who get caught up in the middle of a brewing war.

Some things you should consider when reading this book:

    -There's plenty of space battles

    - Space zombies? Maybe so.

    - Drunk detective!

-Old politician lady who runs her mouth like a sailor with tourets.

    -  Ever wonder what happens when a projectile enters through the hole of a ship and decapitated a man in zero g? Real science explained in lay man's terms.

    - In the 6th book there's a bisexual pirate queen. Like for real.

    - Of course there's an evil corporation.

    - Quotes range from

"However well the new species is designed, however overwhelming its advantages seem to be, the pushback will always be there. If one native impulse is overcome, there will be another. You understand? Conspecifics are outcompeted? Fine, the bacterial and viral microecologies will push back. Adapt to those, and it’ll be micronutrient levels and salinity and light. And the thing is, the thing is, even when the novel species does win? Even when it takes over every niche there is, that struggle alone changes what it is. Even when you wipe out or co-opt the local environment completely, you’re changed by the pushback. Even when the previous organisms are driven to extinction, they leave markers behind. What they are can never, never be completely erased.”

“Oh fuck me,” Avasarala said, clapping her hands in glee. “He’s using the outsider speech. That man’s asshole must be tight enough right now to bend space.”

The show is good, but the books are amazing. Anyone else read them or thinking about checking them out?

What objectives do you struggle with most?

Killing my target before someone comes along. Strangling is effective but slow and I don't like stabbing because they scream and create a bunch of noise. I've been. Scouring Reddit and the forums trying to find faster ways to kill but haven't gotten the hang of it yet.

Also hijacking the shuttle? No idea how to do it.

  3. I've been traitor a few rounds, but always seem to run into a snag on one of my objectives. Emag seems to be pretty handy. I've use it on doors, drones (can't understand what they're saying back though) , holo deck...im sure there's more. Like, what should I invest points in? What are some creative or good assassination tools? Any tips or advice is welcome.

  4. I would actually want to see this get turned into recipes. I mean you can deep fry everything already but make the bat equivalent to monkey delight or vampire pizza or something.

  5. I like the idea. Random explosion on the vacant office? Traitors? Nope. Just a freaking assistant trying to make space drugs. Could get really dangerous, but I think that can add to the round.

    Let me tell you.

Gas masks truely suck to wear.

They dig into your scalp, hinder your vision, and God help you if you vomit while wearing one (we had a guy do that.).

Also drinking water and just overall breathing is horrible. It's like you're told to put a freaking plastic bag over your head and told to breathe deep.

  7. I've got 3 characters I've been running through: Cody Ward, Henry Drake, and Ash Ryder. I've been on the server a few months now. Still lots to learn. Not very robust yet. You've probably seen me around. I've been trying out Detective and have gotten IA many times recently. Cody Ward is my go to for service jobs. Drake for security, and Ryder for science and mad.

I've introduced Corgianity and Caffenism. Books are in the library.

Well, that's about it. I guess I'll see you all online.
