  1. I normally do health analyzer for bio 1. Lowest material cost It is possible to max using only the acid beaker in R&D if you upgrade the imprinter with picos
  2. Praise Nar-Sie is how~
  3. They are spawned in large swarms.
  4. Lets not forget that bees give exactly zero fucks about hardsuits. You're taking five brute but you're also getting injected with like 15 units of flurosulphuric.
  5. Nah, they just inject you with flurosulphuric and do 15 brute damage on top of having 25 health compared to the normal bee 5-10 health.
  6. I would however suggest fixing dethralling surgery for shadowling thralls. I had a shadowling round the other day where one of my thralls had the dethralling surgery done on them but for inexplicable reasons remained my thrall. It really needs fixing if it's actually broke or if that was just due to doctor incompetency.
  7. That was bloody great~ I enjoyed it~ Neri here~
  8. Also, apparently giving plasmamen the heat resist gene will keep them alive indefinitely while on fire.
  9. On the topic of plasmamen. How quickly do they die if their suits come off? Cause if they have a few seconds to swap into an atmos hardsuit, they're basically immune to fire.
  10. The main issue would be balance concerns with constructing the object. For example. If pylons heal in the general vicinity, they'd prolly need a substantial production cost cause that's a pretty huge buff for the cult. Maybe something like 200 glass, 15 unprocessed silver ore, a Soul Shard, maybe sacrifice something living (a monkey?), and maybe a Construct Rune that functions as a regent rune. Said Construct Rune with different sets of inputs could be used to make the forge, desk, and alter perhaps as well. Hell, it would give a way for the cult to make cultwalls besides having an Artificer. 10 metal and one unprocessed iron ore maybe?
  11. On the topic of cult coding in general. I was actually considering trying to make the random unused cult assets in the code actually do something/be acquirable. Like make pylons heal constructs/cultists in the general vicinity and get constructed by artificers, or make the daemon forge function similarly to the Imbue rune but take stuff like a set of cult armor + a space suit and create a cult spacesuit out of it. Or that Cult Alter prop and have it take a few empty soulshards to make a Soul Stone that lets the cult make a considerably better Shade. (Maybe a more guardian style ghostie but for cult? Or maybe a cult bound reve?) Forge could take a few shells and make more versatile constructs perhaps. Seems befitting of a forge. (Maybe one with hands but relatively no armor? Functionally similar to a Manifested Ghost but in construct form? Since a given shell takes 120 seconds for an artificer to produce, making a special shell costing lets say 4 shells, that's 120 seconds * 4, meaning a considerable time investment. (8 min per) Might work for balance. Same goes for the potential soulstone thing, 5 min per shard. Even with 3 shards as the regent it would take 15 minutes to produce one Stone.) Would obviously need a way to deconstruct or break said props in that situation of course, maybe chaplain pouring holy water on them? Dunno. Could be fun though.
  12. The issue with starting a massive fire is that codewise, fire will melt through the floor into space and will cause significant lag due to all the atmospheric processing that it needs to do. ((I actually spent a good hour the other day lighting fire to the station in a private server. Apparently two plasma tanks and a single oxy tank is the ideal mix for a fire by the way. Too much oxy and it'll burn blue and melt through the hull, to little and it burns itself out.))

    Terror Spiders!

I mean more of stuff along the lines of: Player opens door to cryodorms>Spider is sitting in there waiting to ambush someone because they see the room as a valid ambushpoint>Player who wants to cryo gets mauled.

    Terror Spiders!

I recommend that you blacklist certain rooms so the AI spiders don't enter/hide in them. Namely Cryodorms.
  15. A random person can change your wanted status to arrest and call beepers on your ass.
  16. Well if I recall, there's a node organ that prevents facehuggers from hugging them. The only question is if there's a organ that lets them use the xeno hivemind or not.
  17. Wouldn't it be totally valid for a pair of hijack taitors to functionally turn themselves into xeno queens and infest half the station?
  18. How does one harvest/implant organs from a xeno anyways? Standard surgery?
  19. I like this idea. As it is, pods aren't really functional for their intended jobs.
  20. Maybe another slime type could be added to allow production of slimepeople? Although not sure how one would go about transfering the mind.
  21. Would it be possible for it to check for people who have IPC unlocked as a karma race rather then just people who joined as an IPC?
  22. R&Dwise, I'm thinking printing an IPC torso should need Data 7, Mat 6/7, Engineering 6, Electromag 6/7 and Power 8. I mean, it's literally bringing someone into the round as a full character. Putting it behind the More Then Maxed tier of R&D (That otherwise serves no purpose anyways besides something for completionists to do. ) Probably should make the chassis cost exorbitant amounts of diamond and gold though (10-20 sheets per?). Again, it's bringing someone into the round as a full character. Diona have the same thing with botany, but that's limited by botanist competence (3 normally, around 18 if Robust harvest is used, infinite if science rolls Diona Nymph on the Experimentor strange object animal spawner.) and the fact that playing as a Nymph tends to be more fun for some people then playing as a Gestalt. (Prolly due to the slowness of Gestalts and the lack of jobs they can convince the HoP to assign them to based on personal experience.)
  23. Plenty of features in various games are the result of unintended side effects of code. Just because it's unintended doesn't mean it's bad. Given, the forced humanization is very much bad ICly and spacelaw should be altered to make that a capital crime, it's basically the inverse of forced borgings. However as it stand, the procedure itself (although spawned from a codederp) has lead to rp. Rather then labeling it a bug and throwing it out the window, fix it up so there aren't any derpy runtimes, make it a legit procedure with actual steps rather then the very much odd "yank a braindead brain from an IPC chassis," and then go full circle and make it so smacking a positron with a carded AI transfers the mind to the positron so forcibly humanized IPC's can become IPCs again with a bit of help from science. Make an AI, card the mind, stick in positron, put back into chassis.
  24. I personally don't see it as either, but from some perspectives I guess it can be one.
  25. This guide went up the same day we figured it out. I didn't see it as a bug so I never reported it.
