I don't need that, I don't want that.
Riots usually mean some degree of self-antagging. Riot gear doesn't really protect you from stuns during riots and riot gear = slow speed = unrobust. Considering the experience of our security forces, I'd say that riot gear only makes you a laughing stock. Newcomers may think gear is everything, but in this case it's more of a handicap.
Fruerlund, it'd be cooler to finally reorganize our Bridge. I remember that fantastic design of yours.

Maybe have a generalised doctor that specializes in EVA first-aid?
Oh wait, we do have one (albeit with shitty access)... he's called PARAMEDIC.
-
Rumi REALLY doesnt want traitor rounds to be team based.
Traitors are basically 1 vs all of security. It must be fun being an underdog, eh?
You'd think space terrorism would be better coordinated.

Not sure what kind of perks you can give them, but I also assume it wouldn't need to be a karma position.
I'd make it a karma position, though.
5 KP, standard price.
Perks? Give them a small medical room with only basic first aid supplies on Mining.
And a medical hardsuit.
I know why you want that job, I know it's inconvenient to save miners when you're just a station doctor, but I'm not sure if the place is right...
-
Or perhaps you can select their record and/or a custom wanted
Epic convenience. Someone should implement it next.

I'm biased though.
Artists are always 'biased'.

and tesla can give about 17m
Umm, well, yeah - something should probably be done about that first.

Now im hoping its not fixed/changed so I can utilize this in the future...
It's actually been used at least once, by Dawn!
Forged CC papers.
Current CC papers have a huge logo on it, it's just a matter of confusing people.

Now that solution was closed / refused by the coders so im all hear as to an alternate solution that could be used all the while keeping the maintainers / coders happy.
That solution does not exist; It's probably the equivalent of perpetual motion machine: unnatainable.
So far I'm seeing a few arguments.
1. It modifies LINDA code, we want parity 'n shit.
A response has been presented: the modification was designed with the above in mind; the PR-maker claims it's just two lines of hook code.
Unless the other side refutes that and proves Jey to be wrong, this argument should not be included in this discussion.
2. Lag.
Response: apples to oranges unless tested in a live situation (CPU load vs load spikes vs perceptible lag).
The other side closed the PR and refused to test it in a live situation.
We should probably check if our testing methodology is correct.
I'm certainly a little bit biased here, but I feel like Jey is being treated with excessive skepticism.

Make it so you need to make tweaks manually from time to time to allow for higher efficiency.
Without these tweaks (tools and EVA?) the output will gradually worsen, dropping below the station's requirements.
-
Perhaps let you shove a cheap lighter in at the cost of losing 2 cigs worth of space, or a match at the same space as a cig (if we even have individual matches, i should check that).
Yes.
And there are individual matches IG.

That might be a problem...
Limit their range, just as if you were to throw an item. Or your gibs from a gibsplosion.

Don't you dare pun-ash me for this.

Are you sure we don't have something awfully close to fascism on this server already? And I don't mean the fun-killing admins. I mean Nanotrasen.
Having fascism somewhere in the lore/background doesn't mean acting like a fascist in-game.
Nobody (but CC, fucking adminbus loophole) is above Space Law. That's for a good reason - to prevent the slippery slope of internet shitlery.

All pets are annoying and useless.

The reason I bring it up is that the construction unit next to the drone control isn't adjacent to space...
It's because it was never meant to be a construction zone anyway. It used to hold the grav gen back when the AI was placed in the center of the station.
-
I mean, come on. It's NanoTrasen.
I don't want fascism on this server. Security is meant to be the shining beacon of the law and righteousness, and when a superior comes and ruins it I lose faith in humanity.
We hold security here to a very high standard. We should not ruin that image. Prison Station is for that.

I don't think cargo should be able to get themselves proper spacefaring gear that easily, and I imagine that's the reason behind the high-cost spacesuit as well.
It's fucking expensive. And the crate is locked.
I find it easy to hoard supply points. If we can add it, then why not? It's expensive already, suits get stolen, and Security only has 2 hardsuits (not counting the Sec Pod Pilot behind that karma lock).
Meteor rounds, construction rounds, whatever.
If you people are so against "useless" orders, you might aswell go over the list and remove half of the items there.
I found the space suit order in engineering section and figured that other suit types shouldn't remain unique and unorderable.
I'm not sure how necessary it is.Most PRs aren't necessary, but that doesn't stop us from actually improving and polishing the game. The more complete it is, the more cohesive the experience.

Vampires are weaker than traitors, round-wise.
Have it so people gradually transform into vampires, much like in autotraitor. It'd be more interesting than killing 3 out of 5 vampires early and effectively turning the round into extended.
Vampires oftentimes play safe. You need to feast on people and you can't easily steal identities unlike a changeling, so chances of detection are quite high.
Throwing new antags at crew as the round progresses would be a potential solution to this problem.
-
As far as I can see, you can get a single locked crate for like 80 points that contains just one generic 'space suit'.
What if we could order engineering or security hardsuits for a little extra, say 15-20 points?
-
the heads of the station may really want those weapons, so they order security to go and secure three Vulps and force them to go
That's not in Space Law.
We can't do that, for rules are the limiting factor in our roleplay.

If you're cloning somebody, you're most likely in Medbay. You need some tools to remove that implant. The DNC is basically like a sticky label that reminds you of it when you're trying to clone somebody.
Shitcurity has more things that it can abuse; such an implant would be the least of your worries, considering that you'd need warden-level access to get the implant in the first place.
A simple morgue tray in Brig would go a long way, yes. I think it'd be the optimal solution.
