I had to remove the hair from the base sprites of the slime people heads so it'd work nice with this new hair, so simply being bald won't retain complete feature parity... It sounds like at least some portion of the slime portion crowd appreciates the new hair, though.

Well, there are alot more slime people players on the server now...

i think only 1-3 people dislike the slime hair.

Context pls. I want to know who was the whore and why they weren't dying first.

They are on a spoopy gateway mission and start talking about horror movie death tropes.

Plasmaman says: THE PLASMAMAN ALWAYS DIES FIRST!

    then luca said that

    • Vending machines start out with a VERY limited inventory

What this says. And I don't mean only one of everything. Only a small quantity of some of the possible items. For example, the AutoDrobe only contains 15 types of items, instead of 50 or so. And, I think, some of the vending machines can start empty entirely - I'm looking at you, BoozeOMat! Make the bartender EARN his expanded inventory through sales! You can order refills from CC, of course (add the Youtool to this), and so one of the first "Sophie's Choice's" encountered will be whether to fully stock the vending machines first or to prioritize departmental orders. And while CC gets 100% of the funds from refills, make those corporate jerks also get 25% of all vending sales, too! Because that would be NT for you!

    mmmm, tastes bad.

cant we at least add infinite amount of items into the autodrobes, but the items slowly get more expensive as more things get vended out of them.

  4.

i demand half-hourly salaries that drain from the main budget depending on what job you have!!!

i sure there is a main budget, and then a budget for each department including command that already exist.

edit: syndie agents with the objective to steal bank funds from those with the biggest persistent bank account and/or killing the bank account owner?

  5.

    so...

they are allowed to kill all sec staff (excluding brig phys) and anyone with a gun (everyone in science department and comdom staff) and they can kill any other idiot if said idiot tries to threaten them.

they cant use weapons while cloaked.

incase of viral outbreak that makes people unable to fight, leave them alone unless they try to hit you.

incase of SSD or "innocents", leave them alone (duh)

  6.

To that end, I think that the autodrobe should be monetized. No more zillions of free scarves. I suggested elsewhere that not only should the autodrobes be monetized, but they should operate on a supply/demand mechanic. The first scarf costs 50 credits, the next costs 75, then 100, and so on. Late round, this can cause the value of money to go up.

All of this is why I started this thread. A suggestion of economy with gaps, without an implementation strategy or feasibility in coding will fail on the suggestions page.

found the scarf thing you mentioned, apparently i made it...

also have a link to a cancelled economic overhaul a headmin was making.

No, I was just one of the people who drained everyone's account.

"HOP! I AM HAVING ISSUE WITH ACCOUNT, CAN YOU FREEZE AND UNFREEZE IT?"

    "i don't know how 2"

"Oh just let me go to the terminal, and do it myself! I'll show you!"

    "ok"

*Takes picture of everyone's account numbers*

one of these days we need to give the HoP a handbook on budget/NT bank account management

this would work well, nothing TOO much would happen from a ZERGRUSH of voxes as long as they follow their inviolate.

if they are collectively robust enough, which they probably will be, there will be a row of officers in cablecuffs in the hallways as the voxes take what they needed off the officers and run off.

    maybe

  9.

And can they send faxes FTL?

imagine a string thats not loose tied to something, pulling the string would pull the something instantly.

now, imagine the same, except its quantum electronic stuff that reaches infinitely...so, pen pals on two ends of the galaxy is possible as long as both the fax machines have been hooked up to each other during production or something, and you cant intercept the message while inbetween either.

i imagine it cant be THAT expensive.

Oh, didn't see the quantum entanglement article there. I thought you just meant regular fax machines. :|

And, I'm gonna guess that is not how SS13 fax machines are supposed to work, simply because you can set one of multiple destinations (which entanglement would not allow). The answer to that question is probably "somethingsomething bluespace somethingsomething", which is the expensive part.

    bluespace =/= quantum.

the fax machine can send to CC. via quantum just like ERT requests, but it stops using quantum when sending to other station faxes.

then again, im just a guy on the internet

  10.

First...we make genetics SE research be nerfed and require dosh in a budget to go EVEN faster...then we make virology and R&D suffer the same fate.

Suddenly, we have alot of nerds just like in goonstation yelling at the HoP to give them monies pls from the already existing main budget into the research budget.

Second, we make cargo have the option of getting credits for their budget instead of cargo points when shipping things away, credits gotten for every exportable item (but not crates) will fluctuate occasionally, but you will always end up with lodsa monies if you think it through and might possibly even be able to buy exotic stuff (or things that would otherwise take alot of cargo points) for themselves or for more cargo points.

Suddenly, HoP asks cargo for monies to feed the powergaminess of the science staff.

Third...we make faxes and shuttle calls ACTUALLY cost money to send, and it will drain from the command budget. (yes, im pretty sure the only reason fax messages are expensive is because the fax machine ITSELF is difficult to make due to legal/technological/greedy reasons)

Suddenly, the NT rep yells at HoP for taking all the monies for R&D and cargo.

Fourth...hook up all the vending machines (i think the vending ones are already in place) and slot machines to the main budget

(pull money out of NT's ass if they win the biggest prize, then throw the money at the NT rep so NT cant complain about all the amusing but pointless/expensive faxes)

and give people half-hourly salaries based on their job AND how much CC. likes them that go into their bank account.

yes...this might work, leave some critique.

The implant will melt and disintegrate into bio-safe Elements.[br]
Function: Continuosly transmits low power signal. useful for tracking. It also accepts signals from prisoner management consoles to send messages to the implantee, as if it was projected telepathically.[br]Intergrity: Gradient creates slight risk of being overcharged and frying the circuitry. As a result neurotoxins can cause massive damage.

  12.

the syndie adrenaline implant has adminbus only chems in it, such as 20u synaptizine per use, which does the same thing as meth, except it doesnt do brain damage/heals brain damage.

and then it ALSO has meth, but 19.9 per use (you get three uses or something)

then some other chem i dont really remember, somebody should check the github.

but i know for sure it doesnt have fliptonium
