Note system personal player use for Security Warden or HOP

This idea is to add a new mechanic for player ip access only, the point of this is so certain players that play the HOP or Warden a lot they can pin certain players that are know for certain kind of mischief or know to be in certain areas to cause trouble just want to add something that will be more useful than just round based information.

Basically improving the record system.

Adding a note to people so you can judge them on previous rounds?

 

Very much against that. You can jot down character names yourself, but you shouldn't be more or less harsh on people for something in a previous round.

fair enough but something needs to be added to the system like a PM to everyones pda when its added to the record system for that round or a lv. wanted system?

Basically what Neca said. All this would do is encourage metagaming.

As much as I'd like to be able to tag some players with a warning about their favorite little mischief to get into, this would lead to metagrudging as certain players could be marked as trying to break into the vault or a secure area at some point during the shift, with out the person uploading into the system knowing for certain if they are an Antag or not, future HoP's would see this apparent misuse of power and decline otherwise legitimate request.

I could see this quickly leading to half the server being blacklisted.
