Online games may sometimes unleash the artistic bugs, and them somehow bite you - paradoxically, even the most "imageless" text-based RPG Due to the fact that my word is almost 99.999% based on digital art (only the 'pixeled' though. Every digital art is pixel-made, but... you've got it!) inspired (but not limited) by the artstyle from games from the awesome Zak McKracken to the curious Habbo, the physical paper and pen were a tad abandoned but they're always the best friends when it comes to digging ideas and gags, and it probably applies to some of you, too Hand-Drawn (mainly a red pen) Spoiler A kind of "past meeting the future"-themed one, although some very imaginative people may claim they're actually exchanging kisses Spoiler The dragon speaks and the human doesn't mind Spoiler Right before turning seventeen - a rebirth in the emptiness of the space! Pixel Art Spoiler The Quilly Synthesizer!! It's never played a real song though, besides its beep-beep-trrRRR sounds. That was a test program in order to... test some non-RPG commmands in a RPG Maker Spoiler Angels making mischief around a plane Spoiler Samples of Chibis/Alterations I've made for people over the months, half of them made under amazing bases. It takes a lot of work/guts to showcase and actively work on some of the more esoteric art styles. that's actually a good way of putting it :P art tutorials give you a path to your self-discovering (in artistic terms) buttttt a good part of it is consisted of searching for inspiration inside yourself and just allowing your hands to do something because we're always going to get something interesting out of it, even though one's always trying to polish it and make it more faithful to their expressing needs and stuff, if that makes sense Since we're here... this is the "toughest" chibi I've ever made so far, a request from a friend! It was made under a template and pre-made clothing (as it is from a sprite of an online game) but it was cool anyways. Both of them did come to me and requested, via PM, in a forum, an Avatar-esque picture of chibis; united, peaceful and with a fair amount of adventureness. This is what we've got and I got pretty happy with this one RECENTLY-TRIED -- Insertion of a background, not only the models -- "Textures on face" -- An Alternative Shading effect -- LUCPIX SIGNATURE - A rare dodo bird! Even without noticing, everyone makes a good portion of art, daily Anyway, the following pic is a colossal, finished version of the previous drawing I've posted here. You can notice that its initial intention was to represent a sad, hopeless and lonely person, because life was pretty shitty at the time and I've had lost a friend that was basically the bestest one I've had in my entire weblife. Alright. Earth did spin, as per usual, and now we're cool again, we healed our scars and we've learnt to convert all the imperfections into something beautiful to be seen, discussed, appreciated. How I love that person, and also there's this awesome girl, called Maggie, and she's cool as hell too, we cannot deny. That's why this pic exists now, it is a reflection of all the good stuff we lived and we're bound to live, from now. A visual anthem of love, something that, hopefully, will shine our days up. The sheer amount of effort kind of dashes those hopes, but I can genuinely see your kind of art in a game! You could even look into joining an indie group?
