Biography:

Emerson was born in Mohkin, one of the four sovereignties surrounding Moghes' largest oasis. His family, of middle-class status in the fiefdom, consisted of his parents, an older brother, and four other younger siblings. His father was a manager tasked with logistical matters concerning the defense of industrial installations, and his mother a quartermaster dealing mostly in raw materials. As is custom, the two most successful children of each couple were expected to fill their parent's role after retirement. Those not chosen would end up being soldiers or laborers.

As a competent and second-oldest sibling Emerson was well on his way to receiving a notable position from his parents. It was likely that he would achieve his mother's role as a quartermaster, whilst his older brother would take his father's role. However, shortly before the sibling selection, a series of unspecified disputes created a rift between him and his family, causing the parents to pass him over, instead offering their roles to their eldest and third eldest.

A depressed state, a disapproving family, and an unsatisfactory outlook on his future caused Emerson to seek employment off-planet. Nanotransen was the first to agree to purchase his contract from The Sovereign, and Emerson now works paying off a small debt to the corporation that freed him.

Those are kind of out of date, I came back after having not played in a few months so I'm trying new things.

ohh, ok that explains, I made Xann ((my engineer main character Kidan)) at the beginning of this year

So if you need that: major changes in engineering:

  1. When you open maintanance panel on airlock, you can now add metal/plasteel to secure it, if someone wants to hack secured doors they need to remove cover
  2. Now, airlocks can get demaged, when you attempt to weld airlock on help intent you will attempt to fix airlock. In order to weld or unweld airlock, you will need to chose another intent

That's propably everything.

You basicly have character skilled in engineering, atmospherics, chemistry, mining, cargo, paramedicing (medicine then too), robotics, command and security.
Some people don't like that, even if that does not bother me, I can see why.

Ahh. Those levels are meant to represent my own skill level rather than Emmy's. Those represent approximately how good he would be at each role if he were assigned to it, since I don't want to have different characters for different roles. I don't consider him as being a master of everything for every shift. I'll make some edits so it's not mistaken for tryhard nonsense.
