  1. Mind Slave implants do exist in the game, they're the Assistant traitor item, however they are currently broken right now, they add a naked sprite to the model that refuses to disappear.
  2. Illegal tech would work, but then anyone with said Augumentations would be classified as using Illegal equipment. The biggest problem with this is as Regens said, this isnt something for how the server works. These are all borderline OP. Takedown: Thats how Stungloves are. Thats why we got rid of them Strength: HULK Geneticists already get introuble if they abuse their status, and unlike HULK Geneticists, you dont lose the power and ALL their powers with Rytalyn Sprint: This one isnt that bad, honestly. Jump: This one, however, is. Goonstation has recently allowed people to do this WITHOUT auguments and theres already alot of problems with it. HUDGlasses: Another one thats not that bad. I actually wanted something like this for the captain. Smart Vision: No. Theres a reason Thermals are restricted to specific Antags (Vampires and DS). Flash Suppresant: .....Get Sunglasses? Defibrilator: Not even chemistry lets you do this. Protein Therapy: Another one thats not that bad, though the regenerator would be miniscule. Reflex: Even more no, See Takedown. Cyclon Mechanism: that would make it near impossible to take out a traitor. Radiation Converter: Radiation isnt common enough for something like this, unless Toxin counts, then that just gives them a reason to Toxin-flood the station Dermal Armor: Another thats not THAT bad, but i honestly wouldnt want to see free armor given out, particullary if it stacks with regular armor. Invisibility: HELL NO. We just recently got rid of the only cloaked thing in the game (Ninja Cloak). Cloaking is always too OP, No matter the server. EMP: Stun proof? really? Literally the only way this would work if they took up an invintory slot, like eyes, head, body, etc, but the effects are still powerful for what they were give
  3. R&D gets to max research in 10 minutes if done properly and most people who play Science know how as of right now. Having a research limit on them is just a tiny Speed bump. Due to money not being in the game it would make it hard to put a price tag on them and toxin damage over time is VERY easily countered with how chemistry is right now.
  4. Borg RCD's are different under Bay code, so i actually wouldnt be surprised if they could RCD the door away. and as an Added note to the Rechargers thing, any of the stationary ones around the station? Wrench the sucker and you got a portable Recharger.
  5. This is actually a really terrible idea. Why is that? It takes away the authoritative role the Heads fill when it comes to their connection to CentCom and gives it to one singular person. In addition, changing security levels, ISN'T THAT HARD. Just step away from the drama and the issues and swipe the cards. Same goes with ERT. We get lot of CentCom messages asking for us to send an ERT in when there are 2 or more heads still alive, some even in the same room as the sender! TL;DR, It removes alot of the heads power and responsibility and puts it on one person
  6. This could be interesting but the biggest problem is the "kill anyone they like" stance. That could end up being very bad as it's not fun at all to sit out of a game you expected to interact and play. what could be played out differently if this was to be tweaked was the person got sequential objectives, like a new target in X amount of time, or a list of people in a certain order. But this could make the detective a more played job as well, considering how this is setup to be like.

  8. ....im going to reget doing this.... Telekensis can be combined with Xray (durr) to slot AI modules in from outside the upload. You can use Telekensis on computers to see if ID's are in them and if they are, take them out and float them to you. You can use Telepathy while paralyzed as a good fuck you to 'lings and Rev's Also, Monkeyization is planning on changing so it sets your Block 27 to FFF, so you can un-money yourself without ghosting. However, to compesensate for this, me and fox are brainstorming a new defect
  9. Vox stealth units start with this as their Eye-slot item. Otherwise, I haven't see it anywhere else in the game yet
  10. On goon, their antag objectives can be silly shit like "kill all the monkeys on the station", " make sure no one makes #### amount of money", "Blow up all the borgs". i'd much rather see SILLY objectives then free objectives, thats asking for trouble
  11. I love the idea but I got a big problem with it: the one way trip. Once the team goes down, it's gone then, and you can retrieve the bodies for cloning, basically removing the game mode right out of the game. Allowing return trips also can give people who don't go with something to do, like chemists can restock medical supplies, rebuy/recharge ammo and etc.
  12. So thinking a over at work, and skipping the wiki a bit, I think something needs to be done with the singularity beacon. This is a expensive traitor item that will never be used here, since even as an antag releasing the singlo is grounds for punishment. Normally it would be a case of " just don't buy it", but the syndicate bundle packs have it listed as an item in two of the sets. Anyone have suggestions on how to replace or improve this beacon?
  13. Oh god no not 100+ points, that annihilates cargos funding, the highest crate they can order is 60 and that sec level stuff. As for super bomb deal, they would still need tanks to store them in and tank valves, and cargo can't get those as far as I know
  14. this just sounds just like a re-worded Malf AI event to me unfortunately. try to define it more or have it stand out a bit better then "instead of killing all the crew, it only has to kill SOME of the crew" I'll edit some examples in once i think of them
  15. there's an easier way to do this for a Blueshield borg. Have it start the game disconnected (or bound to A.L.I.C.E.) and have it's laws be the PALADIN lawset or what ever is the one that is to follow the chain of command and protect the innocent. Bam, it's immune to a malf AI round, it cant kill the crew and it follows the same principals as the Blueshield

All i think is when i see this is "ways to get around certain problems that can harm or kill you" I mean, the prosthetic limbs dont add anything to the character, infact they are potentially more harmful depending on the job your doing (Engineering...). They're there as an asthetic choice, while each one here has an effect in game.
  17. Regular monkeys can go in and do everything the nymphs can do, steal weapons, ID's, etc. yes But they are treated like Monkey. The crew kills them indiscriminately if they do something to warrant it. They cant bargain with people, they cant understand when they're being threatened until they're being attacked. A Nymph can talk to them, understand if they're in trouble. But the argument your making is that they should have crew rights when the players are abusing the functions of being a monkey but still "under the protection of the crew"

  19. another wonderful game to play is Nier, it's an Xbox only game though. It has great characters, a good plot line, combat is fun, only down side to it is the sidequests.....oh god the sidequests....
  20. Biggest reason thats a bad idea is Science shouldnt be that much self-sufficent. They already can ignore Cargo once you get Curcuits available as it is, atleast at this would let people still use Cargo.
  21. There's a mining outpost yea, but it and the science station have tubes that lead directly to the mining EVA instead of a smelter, hitch helps out miners ALOT of you have any, but if you don't, you still need the Mining access anywas

I'll be honest i've been waiting for someone i know who plays DnD to be an AI if only so i could give it the law "Your now a Dungeon Master and the Crew is your Players" and see what would happen from there. Diablo, since you been playing for so long, i always like asking these questions to old players, but how did you feel about all the changes they made in 4th ED DnD?
  24. Considering this is a moderate RP server, how many players actually play Pen and paper games? DnD, Pathfinder, 13th age, Call of Cthulu, who else enjoys sitting at a table just chatting away in fantasy land?
  25. If i remember from Abby's server, the problem wasn't the lack of N2, but the fact Vox are viewed as thieves and other un-nice things, stuff NanoTrans wouldn't have on their station in the first place.
