  1. There have been problems in rev rounds in particular and it seems to be spilling into Borer rounds. Just because your a borer or a rev, YOU STILL FOLLOW THE RULES. As a Rev, that doesn't mean you get to murder-boner the crew, that doesn't mean you can start to grief around the station. You still are playing on the server, you need to follow the rules. The only people you should be doing that to are the heads of staff. It's really frustrating to see people start Ahelping because someone got Rev'd then killed the person next to them. As for Borers, You objective is to survive. THAT DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR HOST AND SUICIDE/USE THEM TO KILL EVERYTHING AROUND YOU. We can tell when your doing that, and you are certainly NOT exempt from the rules just because your a borer. There's a difference in attacking someone to get them down and put a slug in there, and there's taking control of the captain and firing the laser at anyone who see you. We really shouldn't have to make this clear, but it seems that we do.
  2. Alright, this also needs being noted: YOU CAN DIE FROM BRAIN DAMAGE NOW. After 100 Brain damage, you are DED, YOUR MIND IS MUSH. Hence the change to Murcury and Impedrezine, which are much more huge.
  3. Thats strange, i guess the photocopy ass is treated as a paper rather then a photo. The IAA got Blue Space Artillery'd, if you wondered what happened to him.

The plan was going to have the Death Implants only message the PDA of the Blueshiled, kind of like how scientists/Roboticists get the Paywage message, so you take out the Blueshiled, no one knows when a implant goes off, instead of the loud message that plays over coms. As for the tracking, i'll shoot ponies a suggestion, i got an idea for that for now, but it would only work on a singular head unfortunately.
  5. I can confirm for a fact that you can send photos, unless that was very recently broken. We got a photo of someones ass day 1 of photocopying-your-ass became a thing. As for the NT Rep's stamp, i think it's an incomplete icon path or something, i'll check later
  6. I would really like to point out the Blueshield's revolver can be upgraded to ATLEAST the Traitor revolver ammo, that shit will kill a non-armoured person in only 2 shots. Your also THE Blueshield, if you want a Combat Shotgun, just request it from the captain, the spare can go to R&D. If you feel the heads are threatened enough, make a case to the HoP to give you the all access. The heads know they can trust the blueshield, you don't need to start the round with all the nice stuff.

Wasn't the reason we changed it to a revolver was to give him something unique, and also so you can detain the person fighting, like a detective can when pressed to do it, rather then the lethal rounds the Combat Shotgun uses? Hell, if they Blueshield is so worried he needs lethal rounds, he can just go get them from Cargo.

  10. Due to issues with new code recently added into the server and no one being able to be on to fix it, we are taking down the server until later tonight. We apologize for this, but we feel its the best course of actions until we get everything fixed and sorted out. While waiting, don't forget about our sister server, Sigurd, ran by Melandor0, the good man who hosts us. Their server is heavy RP oriented, so crazy antics you see on Paradise are generally not wanted there, but if you want to just relax and role-play things out, hop on over there.   11. This was taken from the wiki page itself. There's literally no reason to absorb anyone with this new 'ling set up, unless you want new powers, or you want to make sure no one will notice there's two of the same people. I'll keep looking at it, but this is how things look to be so far.
  12. Looking at this, it appears we already have the Wizard changes ingame. The Changling though...that makes it very boring, IMO. All you do is take DNA from someone, that's it. No risk attached to it, you can keep stealing DNA until you get all your powers and no one would really know. And if the victim gets a "You feel a tiny prick"...how do you fight back? You shirek and your screwed because now everyone knows. Cryo sting is over time, meaning it wont help at the time. Changlings are unfair, tha'ts true. Getting paralyzed for longer then a stun baton then taken out of the game is shitty, but it's also better then how it used to be (Para+mute). It looks like the changes were more directed to making 'Lings be more of a cooldown based traitor rather then, well, a Changling.

  14. back when we let ghosts lip tables for Halloween, we didn't think so either. But then players got smart, flipping objects at people when they went to pick them up, flipping objects off the tables AT them just to hurt them, isn't actually that bad. But there were some areas, i'm not mentioning them because it'll be more fun for you guys to find them, where the ghosts ruined good chase scenes or stand offs. One of my antag rounds was ruined because i was behind a table at at location and a ghost flipped it, letting the blueshiled get to me. We already tried letting players use it for fun and they began to abuse it, hence why it was removed past Halloween EDIT: thats not to say its a bad idea, i love it. But like Regens said, it would need to be a more centered point of attention then just a job for it to work.
  15. Diona's have a nerfed movespeed, they move as if they have a hardsuit on if i remember, making it very hard to chase anyone down. Inaddition, they do take increased fire damage, though i do not know how much. Thirdly, plant be gone is near instant death

  17. Alright, some points that i don't think have been expressed to the server QUITE yet. The nerfs that we have thrown at the blob are as followed: -Blob can no longer spawn a blob tile on you. Yes, we took out it's hardest hitting attack. Right now, you need to be completely surrounded by blob tiles in order for it to do the damage it could do before, which is an improvement IMO since it means the blob needs to be more aware and sneaky to take down threats. Only the 3x3 grid of blobs that surround the core will hit you the same as before. -Blob spore generation was slowed, though i think UCGuy might have reverted this one recently. -Blob resource generation was slowed as well. Might be some others, just off the top of my head and the most important. Bringing OOC matters into the round is not the way to do this. You shouldnt be jobbanned just because you wont help, a security is still doing their job just by patrolling the station. In addition, temp ban for not participating is also bad. Only time this should be taken is VERY BLATANT ignoring the blob and/or hampering the station. An example is captain/hos sitting in the bridge, doing nothing but saying you need to evac. As for the IC suggestions, i also like the Nuke timer, i'll throw the suggestion at UCGuy. But the biggest problem with it is, the Gamma Equipment. Opening it too early obliterated blobs early on, not giving them a chance to actually fight, so balacing how long the timer is and when the Armory opens will be problematic, but thats what testings for. Also, making the win condition based on blob cores, i also like very much. Biggest problem with this one is that they cost a full cache of blob points, and if your being constantly attacked, your not going to be having many to begin with. If we change the condition to this, we might have to lower the cost of Blob Overminds.

  19. UC Guy (and to a much lesser extent, me) have been working to balance the blob. It has gone to an instant loss to very much fight-able since then, but we are still trying our best to make the mode enjoyable. But honestly, saying "The crew wont fight it, so get rid of it" is a terrible idea. Give suggestions to improve the mode to make it more enjoyable or interesting, i do agree that "sit here and keep shooting lasers" is a very boring ass thing, so helps us make this an enjoyable experience. Adding back in the Quaratine Law, in my opinion, i thought would incite the crew to fight the thing instead of sitting on their asses hoping it would go away. Medical can be pumping out Dexalin (or Dex Plus), Bicardine, tricord, etc. to help the people fighting it, robotics can be making borgs/mechs to combat it, hell even a Medibot will make fighting it 10x easier. Cargo can be ordering emitters/weapons. The fact the players WONT HELP, doesnt mean the mode is terrible, it means they need to change their mindset. Most of the crew wont do jack shit against a Malf AI, or even acknowledge it, should we also get rid of that? Also, having the shuttle not being able to be called makes perfect sense ICly, as not only would the AI keep you all from boarding it, but NanoTrans wouldnt allow the fungas to spread.   21. The biggest problem with spawning the cane in the office is that people will break in and steal it, its why the Death Alarms were moved to the Blueshield backpack as well, security was walking in there and taking them.
  22. We got a skeleton race that we used for Halloween, currently i think it's Admin-only right now if it's still in the code
  23. back when this was made, we had a player constantly do Antagy actions with his nymph and claim he was Crew and thus couldnt be killed, but arrested instead. One such action was going to the AI core and upload laws. This has been decided long ago and we dont need this brought back up

  25. taken blood literally doesnt do a thing to a player, anything that comes from it is up to the player to decide, wether it be considered assault or not. Also they can't talk UNTIL they steal blood, so it's kinda moot
