    You are all no fun.

As for my story; Just being a Larkens attracts a lot of silly shit to happen, but I can almost never actually complain, because again, Larkens.

I am having trouble thinking of any specific story, but I have, more than once, ended up with assault charges simply for pushing someone.

While all this cybernetic stuff sounds awesome, I think it is probably not feasible to code at the moment. It also seems very over-powered unless the stuff is ridiculously expensive to produce and takes a complicated surgery to install.

But if someone wished to take up this large of a project, I fully support most of this- with balancing of course.

  3. Wait, you are trying to say that the detective shooting and arresting for building thing's in an empty engi room is a legit reason to arrest? I... am not sure in what universe this is an arrest-worthy offense. And, Plotron, unless you give a Direct order not to build anything without authorization, engi's don't need an actual authorization to build in an empty room.

Still not entirely sure why, but as a regular player and mentor, I got a ridiculous amount of karma simply for playing a silly slime character named "Squishy Larkens".

In my experience, the best way to get karma is simply to run around trying to help the crew.

If you are in complete darkness, the pointing shouldn't work. Likewise, the AI shouldn't be able to see pointing through walls. Pointing should also have a delay to prevent spamming it. However, it seems silly to make cuffs/muzzles actually completely prevent pointing. It makes no logical sense, and it is removing one way to actually not be entirely fucked if you end up muzzled and cuffed. IMO, muzzle + cuffs should not be a win button that completely fucks the victim over.

EDIT: I would also like to point out one thing I missed- The way the human emote code is laid out accommodates to not fucking over muzzled people. If they use the scream emote, it should return "[Muzzled Person] makes a very loud noise." However, due to the way muzzles work, it is impossible to actually trigger the emote.

  6. Once, I was an IAA agent, I got permission via fax machine to have my loyalty implant removed. After the surgery, I woke up to the shutters closed and screams outside, then some pale girl walks in. I stood up, and got off the table, keeping the console between me and her, just in case. "W-who are you? W-where is the doctor?" Then, she decided 'fuck this' and took out an energy gun. She fired five shots, none of them made it through the console, then she (for some reason) decided to close the distance and walked within my robusting circle. I disarmed, took the energy gun, pushed her back, and emptied the clip into her, then tabled her onto the operating table, stole her ID, and ran the fuck out. I ended that round with an energy gun in my backpack and an all-access ID in my pocket. Funny part was; I actually had the loyalty removed... so I could seek out a vampire and offer my blood to them.

So, basically, I had this idea. It would make the gibber about 7 seconds slower, as well as broadcast messages to the parties of gibbing.

    It would basically be like:

Button is pressed to start gibbing.

Message appears to person on outside:

    The Hatch closes and locks.

Message appears to person on inside:

The Hatch closes and locks behind you.

    2 seconds later.

Message appears to person on outside:

    The Gibber states 'Deploying Grinders.'

Message appears to person on inside:

You hear a faint voice. The Gibber states 'Deploying Grinders.'

    1 second later.

Another message appears to person on inside:

A number of sharp points press into your back.

    2 seconds later.

Message appears to person on outside:

    The Gibber states, 'Engaging Grinders.'

Message appears to person on inside:

You hear a faint voice. The Gibber states, 'Engaging Grinders.'

You feel immense tearing pain in your back.

    BeingGibbed Unlucky screams!

And then it produces the leftover meat.

(Note, Code already exists for this, just want opinions before attempting to merge it into the actual server.)
