  4. I think this is a very bad idea.......BUTT!!! i think that all borgs that come from the Rogue AI borging machine should come out like this. But they also should have some really easy to notice neon sprite so when you see them you know shit hit the fan. As for if it should be in just as a standard borg ? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO theres already enough salting about the sec borgos being too OP. If this was a thing nobody would even pick sec borgs since here you have a stun baton + energy sword if emmaged.
  5. I just have music in background when i play AI. Theres litteraly no need for ambience. The borgos should get a rolling sound though since they are pretty OP and silent at the same time so knowing they are coming would really be nice.
  6. Its really not a good idea since as Fox said its just nicer way to execute someone. I personnaly think Perma should be removed and replaced with a big Cryo room that have locks. If it would happen that someone is to be executed/permad the sec would just stick them into the Cryo thing and it would turn them into a ghost until someone either broke them out or they would get released and if that would happen they would just jump back into their body. It would also remove the problem with some spaceproof species being unpermable. It would be a good way to get rid of SSD perma prisoners and since Perma is already made so you shouldnt be able to break out without help from outside, it wouldnt even change much.
  7. I find two thing security needs in terms of clothing. A blue officer jumpsuit (i wanna my calming blue) . And a white knight set (white armor,helmet,jackboots and possibly a mighty white secway steed).
  8. Well this would make it bassicaly unpossible for vamp to do anything but humanized monkeys. The same would apply to all antags. I guess people dont like how fast it is to fuck up in this game and get dragged off into the maint but just a few days back there was an article about the cult going murderbone all the time and i dont think this would help very much since nearly all good bases are deep in maint and making it so dragging takes long would mean that by the time whoever is getting abducted screams into comms: "HELP SCIENCE MAINTS" the cultist/sling/whoever is dragging the person has about 20% chance to get to the base before the security arrives. And the same applies for security. So many times does an officer need to drag somebody from science to litteraly anywhere. And if the sec went against cult and the cult was using the teleportation spell for anybody arrested it would mean that sec would HAVE to go for lethals the moment teleporting would be confirmed. Shortened version: i dun like it. Murderbone much. Sec deppresion with roller beds.

  12. Well if you think about it in case of corporate law and quarantine law the AI can litteraly just say that everybody who tries to leave is a traitor since leaving the station with possible danger, means more expenses.
  13. Tottaly removing the ability to stun borgs is very dumb. Instead the time borg is flashed should be reduced to 75% or even 50% of the time it is now. Since right now if you get flashed once whoever flashed you has enough time to litteraly turn you into scrap and you cant do anything.
  14. Litteraly the only reason that those goggles and toolbelt are there is so that somebody can break in and take them. They are not there for some engineer, they can get it from a table inside engineering. By moving them into tech storage theyre whole purpose is destroyed since engineers dont take stuff from there, and roboticist can just get the ones in RnD. Theres no reason to remove them since an Unnamed lizard seems to take them every shift anyway.

  16. Becouse of the special circumstances of these crewmembers the regular NT template is ignored. [Clearance: NT Representative,Captain] These files are TOP SECRET and are to be burned after reading and memorizing them. The first contact with the persons now known as Pitts by NanoTransen was in year 2497 on a station formerly known as NSS Hordeum. This station was equipped with a state of the art bluespace generator which as we have come to believe was the target of the Spetsnaz unit in which about 10 persons were by look similar to the Pitts. Unfortunately this is not confirmed as the state of the art bluespace generator exploded by the captain of the station as the last resort to not let it fall to the Soviet hands. All that survived the explosion was half of the brig which contained video record of the incident. Between this and the Incident Sun nearly 100 incident were reported about a soviet soldiers that resembled themselves and the soldiers on NSS Hordeum. INCIDENT SUN: Incident sun happened in the year 2509. This incident began when an Unknown Soviet Station of size 2x2km somehow teleported into NanoTransen prison facility known as NPF Winston which was about half of its size. The stations alarms were activated by the Warden on board and an ERT team was sent in. Upon Arrival ERT found that in middle of the prison facility a big starlike shaped station stood which ripped the facility into two. The East section of the facility was tottaly torn off and flew off with the prisoners and security off into space and was later recovered. But the West section was still stuck to the soviet station. The upon landing in the west side of the station the ERT were soon attacked by what remained of the prisoners. The ERT were able to relink with what remained of the security force and put the prisoner riot down. After this the ERT choose to advance into the centre where the soviet station was still stuck. But were met with huge resistence when they met on with the soviet forces. The ERT was quickly losing and had to retreat and call in reinforcements. The CC upon hearing of the calls for reinforcements sent in a death company consisting of 110 death squad soldiers who were also equipped with 5 marauder. Engineering vessel was also sent to the east side of the NPF Winston. The Death Company found only the dead remains of the ERT and the security team. Without any losses the Death Company arrived at the centre of NPF and began pushing into the soviet station. From there every meter gained meant 50 dead soviets and for every twenty meters a death squad member fell. After a hour of fighting there seemed no end of the soviet men charging into death and the death squad members started to notice an interesting thing. All of the men that were chargin at them had the same face,size haircolor everything. They quickly reported this to the CC who ordered that whatever is on the station it has to be captured. After 5 hours of constant fighting the death company started to run out of ammo. But then at the moment of truth a miracle happened. A great explosion and then a miracle... blackout the whole station was without electricity (it was later found that the soviet generator got too overheated and exploded taking all soviet chances with him]. After the endless waves stopped and in a hour the deathsquad was able to clear out all of the station. Upon searching the station they found out that all five of the stations wings were cloning yards. These cloning yard had used a strange cloning pods which used a base of unknown origin and a clearly soviet made upgrades and adaptations. The Engineering Vessel from the east side was called in and was given instructions to recover the the station. Unfortunately for NanoTransen upon connecting the emergency generator from the engineering vessel to the station the soviet AI came back to life and with clear instructions to destroy everything started the emergency engines and set a coarse for the sun not so far from there. The Death Squad quickly destroyed the AI losing the remaing marauders in process. But the action was done and the station was inevitably heading for the sun. Emergency orders were sent that those cloning pods were to be captured at all costs. And so was done. Order to leave all dead corpses was given and that every useless thing was to be spaced so that they can save as many clone pods as possible. At the last minute both the death squad vessel and engineering flew off as the station slowly started to be eaten by the sun. 150 bases for the clone pods were saved with 100 acctualy working. With these pods there was also a ton of papers and plans as well as a one locked DNA Vault which they were able to save. All of this technology First thing NanoTransen wanted to know was how it was possible for a station to teleport right into another station. Answer to this came answered in a paper which was from soviet CC to the station now known to be SCS Yachmen. A new soviet teleporter technology was being tested near the station. Somehow this technology misfired and instead of a small technology vessel which was prepared for testing the teleported station was the SCS Yachmen. As for why it teleported into the NPF Winton is only a theory by one of the surviving sec officers from the east side was that it was done by a being which at the time was in the custody on NPF Winston. While details about the being are even more Secret then these it can be said that it made a huge bluespace anomalies which probably caused the SCS Yachmen to be teleported into the facility. It is presumed that the being got crushed by the station. THE RESEARCH: For a year NT scientist were unable to make a breakthrough in the technology. The Scientist tried to use any kind of DNA but with little to no effect. But finaly a breakthrough was possible when the scientist finnaly opened the locked DNA Vault to their suprise there was only a DNA of one Person. With this DNA sample they were finnaly able to create a clone. There was a little problem though the clone was a baby and took nearly month to even be created by the Cloning Pod. From here on the scientists were able to reduce the cloning process to a week and the harvestable Age of the clone was able to be around 10 years old. These clones were then named Yachmens and after some time the second name Pitt came from a nickname some of the Scientists gave them. After 2 years of research all of the research progress stoped and however hard did the scientist tried they were unable to higher the harvestable age of the cloner or decrease the time it took to harvest a clone. Unfortunately NT was never able to recreate the base technology of the clone pods and after some time the scientists figured that this technology was probably acquaired from some yet unknown species by the soviets. As for the clearly soviet made upgrades bassicaly all were possible to be duplicated but seemed to mostly be used for protection against defects. Uses for Pitts: The first uses for Pitts and one of the best and economicaly great helps for NT by them is that they can be used as laboratory rats of course for this only a special geneticaly change caste is used named Wheats. The second great use of the is as workers. Since all Pitts have theire work chosen even before theire birth they can be easily educated to do a direct work assigments. Even with this all of the Pitts that are of higher caste then Wheats have a basic education and a mandatory army training for 3 months in case of security Pitts its 6 months. Some basic information on Pitts: They are individual in a sense. Some Pitts say comrade a lot for no reason. Seems to be a genetic memory as of now its a scientific anomaly. They excessively wear ushankas When a Pitt hits 50 all theire internal organs automaticaly shut off. This age barrier was put in place pressuambly by the soviets. It was only found out a few years ago as the first pitts started hitting the age. As of now NT did not found a way to remove this and doesnt really want to. If any Pitt is identified as a clone he will not give a shit. ALL VERSION OF PITTS THAT WERE UNTILL NOW USED BY NT IN WORKPLACE ENVIROMENTS: Caste: Yachmens Pitts Working age: 20-50 Gender: Always male Race: White Caucasian General Occupational Roles: All of them Qualifications: Whatever they were made to be. Qualifications: Whatever they were made to be unless it needs a big intelligence Identification Photo: Other Notes: One of the least numerous castes these Pitts were made by NT to be a total clean slate that would remove the soviet genetical codings and other errors. The experiments failed and the changes deacreased theire IQ from a standard average IQ of 100 to 80 points. Some psychiatrist said that women are better for medical and science jobs becouse they can confort better. So they made them. There are not really any big changes from the male version other than that they are females. Name: Pitt Notes : Some scientists said it would be great use of the dead brains to insert them into AI cores. These AIs were very unsuccesfull and the few times they were deployed they either malfunctioned or had some flaw in coding that made them commit to wiping their core. Hologram is always a corgi.   17. pretty good idea but for gods sake dont let it be zombies anything but zombies zombies are dumb also the first thing somebody will do after seeing is not run but try and bash in theyre brain in zombies arent scary also i think the best scary thing is the gateway that leads to the hotel that fucking hotel was scary as hell becouse you had no idea if the automatons would bash your head in with or just stand around and the whole feel in general is scary as fuck but then some piece of shit comes and kills all the automatons with a rubber ducky and the scary feeling is gone. Which i fear would also happen to this gamemode

Well i am new to the game and i have played a med chemist about 5 times already and i have one thing to say: ITS REALLY FUCKING BORING its not the job thats boring of mixing the chems its that theres no work for you after the first 30 minutes after that the fridge is filled with pills and patches and you have no idea what to do as a new player. So a perfect example of why a chemist job is boring is this round i had : So i joined as a chemist and i start to work straight away making the 3 or 4 different medicines you need to stock up. After 30 minutes i get bored becouse we are stocked full in the fridge so i start to play around from the recipes on wiki. I make some cola and drink it....... its does nothing "well that was rewarding,, i said and went straight back to the wiki and as i was looking through the wiki i found the great recipe for napalm and said to myself "why not make this?,, and got to work after about 5 minutes of making the great napalm i noticed that my text said "one of your targets is ded,, when this appeared i suddenly found out i was a traitor and one of the guys i had to kill just died or something but i had another more to get myself so i just left the chem with the napalm to purge the guy (it didnt work the napalm didnt get set on fire).At this point the other skilled chemist went SSD to cryo or just changed his job and nobody was at the chem to make medicine. On the whole time i was doing the traitor stuff not once anybody at medical asked where the chemists went becouse all of the basic medic supplies i myself already oversupplied and all the hard to make usefull stuff was already made by the other guy before he even left. All of the 5 times i played chemist i didnt know what to make becouse litteraly nobody asked for anything. If the guy in shinig had this job instead he would rather write: NO WORK AND ONLY PLAY MAKES JOHNY A DULL BOY All and all its just a really dull job and you either leave after youve supplied the fridge to the extend or just start to do stupid shit like drugging your co-chemist who is afk and getting banned.
