  1. Maybe the janitor specific PDA cartridge could be reconfigured to show you how much trash and blood/vomit is around the station/in each department? As is, I never use the janitorial PDA's function of showing where mops and carts are, but maybe they're useful to other people, I don't know. Could be too specific / too much coding... *shrug. A way to see where to go to clean other than relying on crew who generally don't care enough to tell you would be nice.

(not to nix yelling at the janitor entirely because interaction is the highlight of every job, and I'll never give up racing the janiborg to every 'CLEAN UP AT AISLE FOUR' call)

  2. I want to play them, and enjoy playing them, but I'm not going to have fun doing so if being one instills an instinctual dislike and irritation in other players due to preconceptions and/or bad experiences had with them in the past.

I don't want to see them gone entirely, so if changes need to be made, then thumbs up to that. Cookie nerfs and alarm nerfs look like the way to go, so they seem less spammy.

Seems like a good compromise, so as not to keep them as is/ignore the problems, and not remove them entirely/alienate the people who enjoy them.

  3. As someone who's learning atmos, the thought of giant fires and how wholly they would screw over the atmos of the station at large (and having to fix just that) makes me want to curl up and cry, but the initial firefight- provided we don't have poorly armed crew jumping in for funsies- could turn out to be interesting.

Imagine having to fix the aftermath in the midst of a fastmos test. *shudder

  4. I forgot until today- it's probably been mentioned, but

Being the librarian and having engineers silently disassemble your bookshelves for personal projects then repeatedly ignoring you when you protest and try to tell them that they can get wood more easily than vandalising the library by just going to the engineering outpost
