  1. This actually seems to refer to the bundle, not the surplus crate, which is a box filled with one of a few pre-defined sets of gear. Like as the OP said the "Bond" bundle, which does have a stechkin with silencer, krav maga implant, i think agent ID, some other stuff, and not to forget, a martini. I'm not sure if there are many changes needed with them, while yes a combat focused one might seem bad for only steal objectives, but you can always pressure someone with access to the item to give you it, declining to do so would be hazardous to their health.
What i can agree that might be worth checking for is a bundle that iirc contains a power beacon and a syndicate bomb, that seems to be only suited for hijack.

Wall rot never gets treated. Left clicking a wall with wall rot will instantly make the plating turn into metal. Use this to get into secure areas that are infected, and or cause breaches like a knobhead.

That can actually be treated with a welder on the rotting wall. Not that it does get treated by someone, but there is a way.

  3. Well, they start disassembled, so to speak, icons\mob\human_races\r_vulpkanin.dmi would have all the parts, you are probably mostly interested in the head and torso, could also check for existing vulpkanin hairstyles, and adapt from that. Otherwise, you should be able to test if it's fitting without recompiling with some varediting and uploading the fitting dmi, or recompile to test if it fits.

  4. There should be two things you will need to edit: code\modules\mob\new_player\sprite_accessories.dm, to allow the selection of the hairstyle. The icon_state needs to be the exact same name of the sprite found in icon\mob\human_face.dmi, where you would add the sprite. Never done such myself, but looking at it, that would be my best guess to edit and add hairstyles. There should be enough already defined hairsytles that you can compare them and reproduce similar.

  5. As a side note about the emergency maint access: It removes all access requirements, that includes the normal access required. So a maint door to medbay could be used by anyone. Which could lead to stuff like dropping to blue to fight a blob (midround one), return to red once dealt with for the prior reason of the alert.
It might be worth giving a second toggle for the maintenance access you can swipe for, toggling whether maint access is required or not, which might only work for a certain time if it sets it to the option that does the opposite behaviour of the alert, requiring a reconfirmation if it's needed to be kept. Should also need a reason for the toggle, so it could be handled why the captain uses red as basically blue alert and not blue alert.

There also should be a grace period before shutting down maintenance access, to allow people to leave maint before they get locked in rather than out.

  6. Regarding the "perma store of bodies", they do drop everything they have eaten when gibbed. This can easily be done with a sharp object on harm intent, they are a simple animal, and can be cut apart, it is the same as the chef slaughtering animals for meat.

Should we start implanting NAD inside Captains?

Should we make that as an option, but also making this true: "Central command would kill you if you implanted the disk into someone.", BSA incoming?

  8. You probably are thinking of the kinetic accelerator, not the kinetic crusher, the meele weapon. The crusher does have the w_class of 4, same as backpacks, unless you got a bag of holding, can't put it into your backpack. What could help if you could unwield the crusher, so you can move ore around, currently, the hammer requires both hands all the time.

Aren't the point of automatic vehicles to not have gears..?

No. Automatic does only handle switching gears themselves. But there is no way that you can make the motor support higher speed without either making it turn faster, or changing the gears.

that's like giving a motor boat a sail.

That's also a thing you can't compare to, would be more like giving a gas powered car an electric engine.

The 8th gear might just be the same as the 6th gear of some other car, but given the smaller steps, the automatic car might be able to drive more efficient, relative low ammount of rotations at every speed.
