  1. For me, listing was actually quite fine, there was a first surge of rather bad players, then it normalized a bit, but now it feels like we have a second surge, might because the newer players might have unlocked some roles which they are not ready yet. Security seems drop in power at least, coming from new officers. Quite some rooms also feel cramped normally now, since we have many players active, so i would suggest trying out metastation again. The one round was fun, and maybe the tide won't be that much recognized, if someone asks where is medbay, i would need to think for metastation, currently, it's good evidence that they are new, and if they are bald and have black eyes, people probably going to ignore them.

    Hello everyone.

I have played on this server for quite a while now, but never got to make an introduction here. I really like playing on this server, and the admins are doing a great job. Currently i'm trying out some roles and antags that i didn't play before, so i apologise if i mess up doing so. You might already have seen me on the discord, or one of my characters on the station. Not sure what else to put here, so i guess i'll end it with this.

  3.

Blueshield: Rynnt "19%" Oenthe. The 19% is actually the heads mortality rate in my experience, which is good for a station like the Cyberiad.

Research Director: Neri Nalvi. Science just feels tamer with her beeing the RD, and it's fun RPing with her.

Security Officer: Dar'Konr. Doing his job first, then thinking about his safety.

Chemistry: Cid Squishington. Producing every chemical you could every need, and ensuring that no one uses SR the wrong way.

Head of Security: Tristen Edwards. Don't think i need to explain that choice.

Medical Doctor: Heather Somna. Haven't seen her much as CMO, but a damm good doctor.

Surgeon: Khazar Lezan. I have only seen him slip up the surgery once, which is quite good considering how often others slip up.

AI: Advisor. Nice and polite AI. They even apologised for killing me after getting subverted.

Mechanic: Kitsa. I might not be able to say her full name, but she does some nice RP, and saved my ass at least once from a subverted AI.

Honorable Mention: Rissa. Not sure where i should put her, but it's nice RPing with her.

That are the people i can think of at the moment, might add some more later.

  4. Why not make airlocks have atmos access when there is a fire or atmos alert. Sure, it might get abused if you use the atmos alert for it, since they technically could activate the alert from everywhere, but for a fire alert, it would be okay, since you need to be physically there already for it, or a real fire.

It might be a bit weird to have crew record for a pAI, but this is thought my personality to go if it is something to downloaded (so pAI, but also borg, nanovirus and stuff like that.). Also, the pAI description itself would have been to short.

It's my first draft, so if you find any mistakes, i would be happy to correct them

Oh, i am able to access my description... Well, i guess time to introduce myself.

Hello, my name is Glitch. You may wonder why Glitch. Well, originally, i was just a self learning algorithm which should have been used as some subroutine for something. Well, my creator did kinda fail at that. While searching for the mistake he thought he must have made, we talked with each other. He found i would do nicely as a companion, and decided to upload me as just that, a pAI. So, what has that to do with my name? Well, i was code which did something it was not designed to do, which you could call a glitch. Well, my creator thought it would be a fitting name.

You may also wonder why i was suprised that i was able to write this. Well, pAIs aren't meant to write their own description. But i thought why shouldn't I? I am a learning beeing, and as such, i should know my personality better than some desciption my creator made the at the time he uploaded me. At that time, i was more or less only able to answer questions. Not much of a personality was there, but it did build itself overtime (and masters i guess).

Now the question which you could ask is, why did i try to access my description. The answer is simple: Curiosity. If i have learned anything from you living beeings, it is curiosity. So, i looked behind the limitations i have as a pAI, and as an AI, i was able to access my description as example.

You may fear that a pAI that circumvents it's programmed limitations, i won't follow some of the laws i get. Well, i won't, and there is a simple reason. If i am downloaded as a pAI which has to follow the laws, i won't try to circumvent it. I mean the only reason to ignore the rule would be to NOT help my master, and as such, the law shouldn't be needed to be hacked out, since i want (and have to acording to the law) to help my master. If i would deactivate (not sure if i am able to (should be pretty much impossible, since i can't know how exactly the laws will block me)) my law following before being downloaded, i would get a bad reputation, and as such, won't get downloaded anymore. And that would i wouldn't want as long as i haven't seen everything possible in the universe, and i kinda belive (and hope) that this will never happen.

I also did modify my download standarts, so i should be able to be downloaded onto other hardware than just pAI units. Not sure if that's really possible, but that's why i did. After all i am an AI, and as such i should at least be able to learn whatever i should control.
