What is this "not snark" you speak of? I'm not sure I'm familiar with the concept.

Oh hooray. I'm sure "Let's just wait for the QM to order it" is exactly what a dead player wants to hear.

Everything needed to fix an IPC is pretty much available in public access rooms, things you get from cargo or are in toolboxes all over the station. Easy to find, but doing the repairs, like tzo said, is really a slow process that most people don't seem to know how to do. IPCs NEED surgery past a certain threshold cuz of internal structural damage once over a damage cap. I know IPC repairs off the top of my head usually, but even I sometimes fuck 'em up or stumble over one I do rarely. An that was before the "IPCs bleed oil" thing Iunno how it is after that. That's how it used to be. Now there's exactly one source of oil on the station and that's robotics.

I tape my boots. But then, that's mostly because any kind of repetitive noise gives me a headache and I would have to turn the sound off if I couldn't do that.

Fursamie, I don't think you understand how different in scope the examples I listed are compared to what you are suggesting.
Ever read the code? Ever tried to understand how different they are?
And yes, IPC drinks and processable chem is a terrible idea.
Why don't you try removing it and see what's the reaction around here?Actually, I'd be fine with IPC drinks gone. Probably preferable, even? But then, there is some kind of mystical superversion of SS13 in my head where every species reacts to every food and chemical differently because they have different biologies.

And even seasoned roboticists occasionally forget to put an organ in, because they are not immediately obvious. I once had a new body built for my brain that didn't have a charger, so I spent the entire shift walking at half speed when the roboticist went into cryo.

And I'd bet most options have more IPC than cyborgs.

a hoodie hood will also protect you from pepperspray/holywater spray, and face huggers as it is a "helmet"
Holy carp, that one's useful. I had no idea.

Clearly, Xray vision needs to be more realistic, instead. I propose that Xray vision is stopped by metal walls, but penetrates people, making them invisible when you have the upgrade.

Oh man, I'd love faulty chassis parts so much. Even if it was just random sparking.
-
I'd love a genetics equivalent for IPCs. Chassis upgrades, made in robotics! Gimme my blade hands and jetpack, already.

Yeah, I've done that. Punched my left arm off, took it in my right, used that to break perma windows. Easy.

Thing is, if you ghost out like that, you also give up your right ot participate in a lot of events. And no, you can't succumb or suicide either with respawnability. And yes, I kow you can still be reactivated or ptu into a new body as a posibrain. That's not the problem. The problem is that in the half hour in between, you can't pla, not even to watch the round like a ghost can. You're just taken completely out of the game without any chance to do anything.

The problem is, we can still be endlessly stuck. Not in a body, mind you. But if someone takes your brain out, well, you're stuck in that brain, because the brain is "alive". Can't ghost from a posibrain without losing respawnability. So if someone turns your speaker off and tosses you in a locker somewhere, better hope an admin comes by to help you, or just go play some other game for half an hour and hope someone finds you. You have no way of interacting with the game, now.
And the number of roboticists really is a problem. There's two on stations. While for organics, there's an entire medbay. Oh, and brig medbay, medical ERTs, the maintenance underground surgery, which also has blood bags... if the roboticist is a traitor and you die, you're fucked.

As far as I'm concerned, it's canon that SINA- watches badly subbed martial arts and action movies like that on her "camera" monitor in quiet shifts.

Honestly, as others have earlier said, I'd quite like an option to turn of Karma. I've bought everything, I'm pretty sure, except Vulp, so I don't need more Karma.
-
I remember some of those Vulp players from a few years back. I still have to stop myself from cringing when I see vulps. The associations are just that strong. I didn't even care about the flavour text, I could just ignore that. But just those that would hang out in groups of 3-4, refuse to speak any language other than their own, and responded to security asking them for a random search with growling at you, walking away dragging each other and then calling an admin if you told them to either stand still or get tazed.

I'm pretty sure I cracked 12'000 once, when I played on my laptop, whihc was connected to my phone, which was connected to a wifi. Didn't make screenshots, though.

An upload can be used to upload laws to IPCs. It's how you mind control them.

Well, send me a message, if you ever see me in the brig in a vampire round. Grin is usually up for anything fun or weird.

Make it so you can surgically remove tounges. Can already remove eyes and make someone blind, limbs to make them immobile or incapable, why not tounges to make them mute?
On a serious note...if you remove a vampires eyes can they no longer glare?
I have no idea, but I'm willing to volunteer for medical experiments next time I'm a vampire captured by sec.

I'd...errrr I mean she'd get fired every round if that were the case lol
Lemme try n get this back on track.
Remove red heads.
If we go in that direction, people with floor-length hair should occasionally trip over it while running.

But they only yell when necessary, and don't have a temper tantrum over someone following their Hippocratic oath.
Tetra on the other hand, I dunno, regardless of their job, they insist everyone is idiots and morons etc etc.
But as a warden she is the worst, just....
Weren't there a round where the HOS fired her for being unnecessarily rude to prisoners?
Don't think I know anyone named Tetra.

Oh, and here I thought you meant SINA-. She's grumpy, cynical and occasionally furious, not salty.

Could be any of a number of wardens. SINA- likes shotguns too. Though she likes any of a number of guns.
