  1. Heya, welcome! I haven't seen you around much, but I'll assume you're a cool person. You get three kewl points. Feel free to join the Discord, it's a lot of fun!
  2. Welcome to Paradise! Enjoy your stay!
  3. That too, but Dan didn't murder Eli and drag his corpse out of an airlock.
  4. Oh, hey, that's the guy who murdered me and thought Eli was a chick! Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay!
  5. Hey there and welcome! Seen you around a bunch. Enjoy your stay on Paradise and don't be afraid to ask questions! Why didn't anyone tell me we had snakes?
  6. It really looks great! I'd love to see more stuff done this way.
  7. I've seen you around a bunch, you're a cool guy. Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay. We also have the Discord server you can check out.
  8. I'd rather not mess with accessory code, so the holobadges being attachable to the vest is out of the question. Sorry, I don't want to snowflake code just for the sake of one armor vest, it's either always with a badge or never with a badge. I'm focusing on security armor with this whole thing, probably will also add a variant for the Blueshield. The rest of the station isn't supposed to be wearing their vests 24/7, so their ugly looks will be a good downside to them, I'm leaving those alone. Other garments can get their own thread if you really want, feel free to make one. The vests I'm working on right now will NOT have additional pockets, that was deemed too much of an additional advantage. The "pockets" on the sprite are just cosmetic.
  9. Only complaints about the new one are about the badge, so I'll leave the rest alone. Here are the designs I have and like so far. Don't judge the vulpkanin, I had no other screenshots on my desktop when i was starting. Which one is the best? Maybe no badge at all?
  10. Here's a new version of the sprite. I kinda made the whole thing a bit brighter and the lines more defined. Also, the badge is nicer. Opinions?
  11. Oh, hey there! Nice to finally see you here!
  12. Holy crap, nice job on the guide. Pretty sure that's going to help out A LOT.
  13. Hey there and welcome! Hope you'll enjoy your time on Paradise! [spoiler2]Lost. The. Game. Dammit.[/spoiler2]
  14. Carrying a massive amount of things on your person as an officer is already possible. You can have a medkit, a box filled with tools and a large amount of handcuffs and flashbangs in your backpack and belt. I don't think adding the option to carry two more small objects would be pushing the limit that far. Someone suggested in the security armor thread an option to give security officer chest carriers that were a less armored version of the normal vest, but with two pockets, like a labcoat. I think that would be a balanced way to give officers more storage capacity. Thoughts?
  15. I don't see why flashbangs are a problem. Currently a security officer has enough space to carry whatever they want using their backpack. I'd be for readding the webbings or giving officers armored chest carriers to make rolling without a backpack or satchel an option.
  16. Chest carrier as an alternative to a vest? Less damage resistance traded for two pockets, while maintaining the vest's storage slot's capability? I can do that. EDIT: Though all my attempts don't look as cool as the vest. I wouldn't have much hope for this...
  17. Considering the last thread kinda died I made this: The helmet is brutally stolen from /tg/, while the vest is a personal creation. I'd love to hear your input on this, as well as possibly get even better sprites if someone wants to give it a try. I think it would be fair if only security got the upgrade, as the bartender and HoP are civilians and shouldn't get the +4 Charisma buff from having a badass vest. Once we settle on which sprites to use (or I go rogue and run off with my own) I'll make a PR that replaces the current (ugly) ones with whatever we come up with.
  18. Yes, the organ manipulation surgery repairs a fracture present in the bodypart. You shouldn't really ever use bone repair if operating on the abdomen or head, as you can expect the organs to be pretty beat up, considering the fracture.
  19. Yes, it's used for all surgeries, even Abductors. As far as I know we didn't have gender reassignment even before the current system was implemented, it's been quite a while.
  20. I would like to point out this is not Official Eli-Endorsed Fanart™. Kill me
  21. Creative criticism is always appreciated. Telling someone to man up and drop their argument isn't quite that. Either way, I do believe the Paradise Wiki is there to reflect the codebase and lore associated with it and one-time events rarely fit the already-convoluted lore. We should be focusing on updating the wiki with current and useful information, not adding fluff that will just confuse newcomers.
  22. Is a complete noob, can confirm. Also, 10/10 guy. Welcome to Paradise!
  23. Sometimes it's more efficient to test out an injector without hitting DAC. I'd mention the specific thresholds you can have for mutations. Otherwise I rate 8/8.
  24. Is that page supposed to contain admin-made one time events that happened? I'm pretty sure that's not what the wiki is for, you can put those things in Stories of NSS Cyberiad on the forums, not the sacred Wiki.
  25. Well, I can help out with the sprites, just give me proper descriptions of how big this stuff has to be and what kind of a look you're going for. here and here is some silly stuff I made recently.
