The mech will need to be at least slightly modified before being buildable; I'm fairly certain the gun for example doesn't currently work right, so there will probably be changes to the mech if implemented (at least so it isn't somehow more crazy than the HONK, although it's probably less annoying as it stands.)

Ironically we've talked about making this before, if only to afford a way to make the Recitence. The mech, as it is, indeed has the said carbine as well as an RCD.

If you hold the infrared emitter in your hand, there's a verb to rotate it... although it looks like the sprites for the laser itself aiming east & west are missing.

The grey thing is of course purely an issue of sprites being made, although I doubt missing sprites are what discourages people from playing Gray; basically nothing looks good on IPC's and people play those all the time.

How about, the round ends if all the nations unite by signing some sort of union charter document OR there is only one nation leader alive. That way, some people will want to unite while others will want to war, as either is mechanically supported. Naturally, the union option should only become available and hour in or so, so people don't just immediately end the round.
I'd support this, with a twist- The treaty HAS to dictate a certain nation as international leaders, earning them a major victory against the other signing nations' minor victories. This'll create diplomatic friction rather than just being 'lets sign to all win'.

Do you have it set to use a sql server in dbconfig.txt? dreamdaemon can and generally will crash if SQL_ENABLED is set but it cannot connect to the SQL server.

Engivends are really weird. Engiborgs cant even use them, so you cant make APC's and such.
I've also always found that weird as well.

I've always wondered about this, is it supposed to be some weird balance thing? (eg filling maint with security cameras would make things hard for (s)lings.

Although it technically wouldn't be too hard to make things greyscale technically, a lot of things will become colorful or partially colorful again at seemingly random moments, so I'm tabling that idea, at least for now.
