Its a game thats meant to be challenging.

Go fix the machines. We got rid of the hardcore atmos because people moaned. If you are too lazy to go and fix shit, it bites you in the arse.

If you want a hugbox where everyone gets on well, nothing goes wrong and everyone goes home and gets lemonade, go to Bay.

For reference, I said corporations will rebase to the Cayman isles (or some other offshore tax haven),sure they wouldn't up sticks and leave over a slightly higher tax, but when you want to tax them 80-90%, then they will want to be based overseas. Net loss: all of the tax revenue you'd have.

And America is a completly different example to a socialist Scandinavian republic. They have smaller, more homogenous populations. It's easier to control them and to create the impression that taxes are working. The big hegemonic federal government doesn't have that.

In the end, I don't have to worry about what would happen if he were to be elected, because I would bet good money on him not being elected.

In some hypothetical nightmare world where Bernie gets elected, the the only way he could really carry out his nanny state ideas is by taxing the middle class- if he says he's going to do this, then his chances of getting in will drop from small to none.

The reason scandanavian socialist economies work is that they have all round high taxes (not just the top bracket). Trying to set this system up anywhere else in the world would end in failure.

As for having a 'weak grasp on economic principles' what are you referring to specifically?

Is that reflected by a policy of taxation that attacks excess wealth consolidation and inequality which are economically toxic?

Fun Fact: When you overtax the rich, they just fuck off the Cayman isles. Its simple supply and demand. If you raise the price of living in a nation, then the consumers (in this case the rich/corporations who can choose where to live/where to be based) will just take their service and leave. You actually lose tax revenue by doing this. Even if the rich don't go over seas, Saunder's plans still require more money than he'd be able to get, so unless the moon people come down and lend us a few billion quid, Saunders ain't going to be good for anyone.

EDIT: Polls don't mean shit. You can lead in the polls all you want, but polls do not represent the actual electorate that well. As a force, the electorate isn't stupid. It won't vote for someone who is economically a mess.
