Still, this is a pretty shitty excuse for keeping something this gamebreaky in the code.
I mean, AT LEAST ADD A FUCKING POPUP MENU THAT SAYS THAT THIS CAN CAUSE SOME MAJOR BAD SHIT TO HAPPEN THEN AN OOC MESSAGE IN BRACKETS TO FUCKING TELL YOU YOU CAN GET IN TROUBLE FOR THIS.

I'm pretty sure coding a popup is rather easy, i've seen coders do it between rounds (the famous round-end karma reminder popup is an example).

Additionally it would require some heavy coding as far as clothing goes, as they're a size smaller than everyone else.
We have an option for admins to easily resize sprites, so that part isnt really a big problem. Everything else is.

2: double-click cataclysmdda.exe/Xcomew.exe/civBtS.exe/xenonauts.exe/whateverthatcanbeplayedonwindowedmode.exe
3: get killed because i suck at the game
4: oh look the shuttle was called

No I didnt, DF makes my potato laptop boil its circuits unless its the only running program.
And the thing with the Thunderdome is, it's only special because its rare. Its just people beating each other with OP weapons, if we make it publicly avaiable it will quickly become a common-ish thing and loose all it's uniqueness or whatever.

Hey I hacked into the bridge and sat there even if I didnt have friends at command and hardly anybody minded.

You'd be surprised how many friendships started by being friends ICly. If two characters are often seen together that doesnt mean they are metabuddies y'know. And for many people it only makes the game funnier. I for example get bored very quickly if I play alone. I mean c'mon, there is the harmless kind of friendship and then there is the one that only causes troubles.
