  2. Thanks for the welcome! I step away for a few days at a time, play a couple nights when the house is asleep. I will probably switch back and forth. In CM I main IO and regularly get eaten, but usually after I get all the loot.
  3. Heya! Welcome, have fun on para and keep in mind to take a break any time you stop enjoying it! Cm's amazing, when I play it, I main medic who slug's warriors in spare time, stopped so many caps it's crazy.
  4. Been playing SS13 and Colonial Marines for about 5 months on and off now, and really enjoy Paradise. Look forward to putting in my time.
  5. Hm.. Yeah I guess that could be annoying with the armory thing. Since any just spawned morph could make their way through the vents. I feel like its a special cute touch to the antag regardless though, I'd suggest a "constitution increase" where as they gain more things they can begin to eat more, so eventually a morph would be able to eat guns and such instead of it being easy? But if you wanna avoid it altogether then ya. Glad you like the movement concept, I think its more fitting. like its lurchin out a slimey limb and trudging itself haha. For buffing it then.. maybe making it way tankier so that it cant be so easily slain by anyone that walks by, the simple welder seems to be its ultimate nemesis so far.

    Morph Buff ?

Morphs used to be able to eat items, but that was done away with on purpose during the rework that brought morph to its current form. "Morph ate the whole damn armory" is what I think we're trying to avoid. I do kinda like this, personally. Being able to jump like three or four tiles quickly might make a good difference. Kinda skittering like a spiderling.
  7. Morph is a really unique and interesting antagonist that never really sees play, and when it inevitably does it dies really quickly. Not only is it really slow and unable to move around at all, the morphed objects are super easy to spot if they need to manuever to leave at all, since the slow pace is also attached to the objects. The goal of reproduction requires a LOT of consumption, which makes it really hard for another morph to even come into creation. I feel, as someone without any balancing experience in SS13 so take care, that a 'lurching' movement might be more fitting for them? So they can only move so fast, but the movement is quick. Which would make it hopefully harder to notice them? Something really cool I see on some other servers is morphs being able to absorb and eat items, could it not be a possibility that items give very small amounts of 'points', organics give a lot, and then increase the reproduction cost a lot so it evens out a bit with the new possiblity of gaining resources?

  9. In the expanse of Paradise's sprawling domain, Where engineers labour with tools and strain, And medics tend to the wounded and ailing, Amidst the hum of comms and constant detailing. A round begins, two hours to fill, With hidden agendas waiting to thrill. Whispers of schemes within the crew, Secrets carried by the syndicate's chosen few. Amid the crew, hopeful hearts aspire, Yearning for the roles that ignite the fire, To break from routine, to wear the rogue's guise, And tread the path where deception lies. Yet for most, anticipation fades, As the same faces parade their charades. Jimmy Lim, Simon McShain, and Adam Smith, Masters of intrigue, skilled in myth. They slip into shadows with cunning art, While others yearn for a villain's part. To shape-shift like a changeling's guise, Or wield the dark glare of a vampire's eyes. But fate, it seems, favours the chosen few, Leaving the rest to yearn for a chance anew, In Paradise's realm, where shadows play, Where hope flickers in the cosmic array.

This is pretty heavily enforced by players and has been since introduced so why not do the same for command? They should be just as recognizable as security due to their importance on station. Admin(s) already say that changing job titles as command is frowned upon(I can find this as a source if needed). Just saying that standards like this should also be applied to command as well. No more greytide captains, no more casual HoS, no more QM(remove) P.S: I personally as command try to make my staff wear their department clothing so I can identify them as staff and not random trespassers
  12. 3 imaginary friends stg if they ruin this I'm requesting a ban from paradise!!!!111111
  13. I love this idea. Ive opened a PR to add a (similar) combo here. https://github.com/ParadiseSS13/Paradise/pull/25457 The only major change is swapping harm to help to prevent officers from eating assault charges for using the combo.
  14. Nah play the old MLG “OHHHHH OHHHHHH OHHHHH MY GOD OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!! OHHHHH MOM GET THE FUCKNG CAMERA OHHHHHH!!!!!! 360 ACROSS THE FUCKING MAP!!!”
  15. This will only be balanced if it makes one of the TF2 crowd cheering sounds when its completed, audible across the entire station.
  16. lmao that would fuck up some people who ghost on war declaration to play borgs
  17. Wow this is evil I love it
  18. Name of Event: War Drill One Sentence Description: War is declared at roundstart, after 30 minutes to an hour it would be declared a drill and to return to normal function. Map Changes: No Code Changes: No Suggested Number of Players: 50-100 Full Description of Event: A short time after roundstart, an admin could start a 'war declaration' via pressing the button or using other tools available to them, allowing the crew to believe nuclear operatives were on the way. The standard procedure for war declarations are VERY messy and often cause a lot of havoc with restricted items and places being thrown out the window. After an appropriate amount of time, an announcement would be made stating it was a drill for the local sector and an order to deconstruct the hallway barricades, search for clues to who has what, try to get AA back from everyone, all while potentially having true traitors among them. This is almost entirely based in roleplay as it gives no actual additional gameplay mechanics to crew other than the belief that space law was on hold and provides to add a sense of "is this real" to real nukies. Open to suggestions or comments :D

  20. I'm sure you've still got some robustness buried deep down within you
  21. God no!! Fear the GOLDEN BOLT! (I already suffer from the two combo martial arts. How will I pull this off?)
  22. Recently I thought of a small addition to Corporate Judo: "Golden Bolt" - a 15 move combo that instantly stuns the target when completed, accompanied by a yellow flash of light and taser firing sound. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Swap to empty hand > I believe this would be beneficial for the following reasons: Acts as a fun skill shot for people to try, with the added bonus of being an insane flex if completed. Has practically no implications on balance; there are far easier ways of stunning someone if they let you get 15 consecutive hits.
  23. It doesn't say we have to let you guys get past one either but we do it out of courtesy. Usually. Zero.
