Wouldn't that make them harder to kill if they're your target? To help the AI and Sec. look for specific people and no on the vending machine to give them another reason to leave the room. Command access. Command and sec. And no on the mini station its attached to the station somewhere down the middle of the station just like sec and command based areas. Im trying to make it set to be observers for the ai. and i don't know what there objective would be yet. but you see the population of the station growing so im trying to make more jobs and room for the station with a halfway important and fun job that is not completely locked up so traitors, vampire, ect can also get to them as well. No Hell no This wouldn't just be a waste of time, it would be a waste of code on the server, this would become more repetitive than customs. It would literally be the most boring job on the station. Czardoc Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 why should a mall cop camera monitor-esque worker get god damn command access, as well as their own station? in that case, the fuckin hos and warden should get their own station because they can both monitor cameras and report back. this is literally just free reigns for some jackass to get a cool title, assume direct control, and probably dick around on his newfound station just for him. and the fact that camera systems cant directly track people, you need the ai for that. in the end the ai is going to do the work anyways, ai might as well have done it in the first place. its just an edgy room to circlejerk in, edgy name, useless access to command, who is practically useless unless camera monitors can track people now. this guy doesnt even have a backup plan. for example, medbay can continue working if its bombed, they're just scarce on resources engineering can work just fine without power security can always work regardless of the situation, unless brig's bombed and they need to arrest people. cargo can still supply whatever they have, albeit limited if they cant call the shuttle if this guy's god damn cameras get emp'd hes fucked. this also employs shitcurity situations where dickwad overseer sees some guy get convicted who he doesn't like or doesn't know the full story for, and he either convicts him off being an ass "i saw it on camera" or is pressured into saying something he thinks he saw. as well as just being confused, or tricking people this is apparent in security as they shitcurity arrest people off of what they think is right, if they think someone is trespassing, or they indirectly trick someone into gaining an arrest Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
