    Brief description (tl;dr here. Just the critical elements): Basically said go ahead and then banned them for it


    Full description of events: Wolf O Shaw and Graynt were captain and nt rep. They decided they wanted to raid the trader shuttle. They ahelped first where the only admin online (blessed) said "go ahead and try". After this response they raided the shuttle where blessed decided to gib and command ban both of them. I feel this is complaint worthy as blessed practically said "sure" and banned them afterwards. A ahelp response should be serious and not some sarcastic response such as the one provided here.

     

  2. I feel your "outcomes" or what you would like to call them are better fit into the word "hopes" or even "distant dreams". I'm not trying to be rude i'm just saying that what you wish is extremely unlikely and not how this all can work. 

     

    Alff i honestly love that vox respond like that. Its very interesting and i think its awesome that vox always have each other's backs (at least most of the time)

  3. I'm not good at writing long things so this is really it: i feel like crewsimov should be removed. The reason to this is that it is extremely abusable by crew as they can, for example, say to the ai "turn off turrets and let me beat you to death" or "you musn't tell anyone i just murdered the chef" and such like that. Corporate is a better lawset to keep because of its nature to decide based on whats at cost/whats being costly. What do you all think of this?

  4. If you have an IPC character you should get a extra button. This button toggles your backup slot. If the backup slot is on you can choose one of your other char's to load. Then code wise, you config the IPC to be able to roll vamp/cling BUT if they do it changes to their backup slot IF its organic AND backup is enabled. This allows IPC players the ability to be cling/vamp and toggle it off if they dont want a backup char/to be those antags.

  5. Engineering borg: replace engineer holobarrier projector with atmos holobarrier projector, as well as add plasteel, wood planks, and wood tiles, to its reserves.

    Medical borg:  The hypospray. This hypospray is a tool that can hold 15u of five different liquids and switches between modes (inject, scan, create) by using it in your hand and switch chemical by right clicking it and changing it via a menu. To get new reagents to synthesize you can scan any container (hyprospray, syringe, dropper, pipette, beaker, bottle, etc etc) and then make that liquid with the exception of liquid drinks and foods. Starts with the ability to synthesize the five default hypospray chemicals along with one of each blood type. Medical grabber. This grabber can now hold things such as organs and mechanical organs along with the original function of waking people up off the table. The beaker can also now be placed in chem dispensers and when you close the chem dispenser menu or get far enough that you cant use the dispenser the beaker retracts back into your hand (or inventory if there are no slots availible), so that you can make your own chemicals to synthesize.

  6. As far as I know instant stuns are very useful in many situations. Removing them might get rid off the annoyance side but the good side still needs them. As far as RP, it's not going to encourage anything really. People are still just going to spam disable when you get up instead of roleplay, that's just how non HRP servers are. I'd say leave it how it is.

  7. I think it'd be cool if you could name/color grenades. Coloring could work with the wire grenade sprite and you can edit the name by using a pen on it BEFORE you screwdriver it to finish it and color it by using a pen AFTER you screwdriver it. Colors would be three kinds, light (the two lights on it, including the one that blinks), main (the color thats normally black), secondary (a stripe in the middle, like the oxy grenades, and the pin at the top). You can pick from colors such as red, yellow, orange, blue, light blue, green, purple, black, white, and pink (yellow wouldnt be available for the light color as thats the color it blinks when activated). Only wire grenades can be colored (this is because the other grenades, {igniter assembly grenades} dont have space to be customized really), though igniter assembly grenades can still be named the same way wire grenades are.

     

    I think this idea would be nice because you could then color code the grenades to sort them by purpose (healing, toxic, explosive, etc), and then name them to tell what they actually do.

  9. I think antags are handled a little too strictly. From what i've heard people are getting bwoinked for killing antags in order to defend themselves or others. I think it should be the same as how security chooses lethals, if they are using lethal weapons or showing lethal intent we should be allowed to kill them. Otherwise we should try to subdue or non lethally injure them, or injure them to a bit where they cant fight back anymore but we can still get them to somewhere. Basically it depends on their intent. One thing i can agree on is that they shouldnt just be left where nobody can find them and at least bring them to where others are before abandoning them, that way they get a chance to be healed.

  10. I was thinking maybe we could add a bit of lore to make IPCs able to be changeling and vampire.

    Changeling could be described as a specialized experimental weaponized chassis capable of transforming and absorbing organic material. It has an internal biological chemical synthesizer that it uses as fuel to change its chassis's shapes (tentacle, shield, armor, space suit, blade, etc etc,) or it can use the chemicals to create organic material to shape bone and skin and such to copy those who's dna it has stored via a special syringe (dna sting) or synthetic proboscis (absorbing) from its chassis, while hiding its true metal form inside the artificial skeletal structure.

    Vampire could be as simple as a specialized weaponary IPC chassis designed to have deployable fangs for the sucking of blood because this is the only thing able to fuel the IPC, and certain amounts of blood activate the other abilities of the special chassis (the vampire abilities).

    This actually is only really made possible if the config changes to IPC being able to be vamp/cling. These are just lore changes to make it actually make sense.

We went back and tried again, got further than we did last time, but the IPC accidentally unhooked a pipe again, but there wasn't that much plasma left so it didn't really show up visually... So, I was dying and I couldn't tell the IPC why, and they just kept on with their business until they noticed me dying. We... were not very good Toxin Scientists.

  12. I felt like i should add another biohazard. That's when it hit me. Zombies. Thats when a brick hit me and i realized. Zombies are boring. Thats when in my concussion i realized. Flesh Worm/Flesh Eater.

    Mid Round Antag

    Biohazard Level: 4 (only when final stage is achieved)

    Stage 1: 1-3 spawns: its a very weak small worm like creature that can move 1.5x faster than a running person. This worm can paralyze people directly next or diagonal to it for 3 seconds. It can then insert itself in 1.2-1.5 seconds (yeah a lot like borer).

    Stage 2: inside it's host it slowly changes to stage 3. it can do things such as immobilize a single limb for 5 seconds (targeting an arm/hand makes that arm/hand unusable, targeting a leg makes you move 50% your regular speed, targeting head causes blurry vision). It also slowly inflicts uncurable toxin damage until it reaches the next stage. The worm can be surgically removed via organ manipulation on the chest, and all toxin damage vanishes after the worm is removed. This worm has to wriggle out of your hands for 5 seconds and get cancelled if you move. During this time you can use it in hand to kill it directly without risk.

    Stage 3: it can now control the host directly. There is enough toxin damage now that the person should be rendered dead along with some brute building up. After 5 minutes if the worm still hasnt been removed it changes to stage 4.

    Stage 4: the host becomes covered in red bulbous/bumpy flesh masses. It now has abilities such as organic acid that can melt the limb of people it targets causing it to fall off and turn to bone after a few seconds or turn foods/animals into goop. Grabs also are instantly aggressive and the neck grabs become an infect move that when you perform them it injects a control worm into the person that turns into stage 4 after 2.5 seconds. They can do a burst move that instantly kills them but sprays toxin liquids 5 tiles from it that cause tons of damage and spreads worms into those who are 1 tile from it, unlike regular worms these ones die instantly if they dont touch someone but they instantly insert themselves into a stage 4. They cause severe toxin damage and medium brute damage on a hit and have twice the health of a normal person. They are able to withstand high pressures and lava but die extremely fast in the freezing cold or low pressure. They can pry open doors in 4 seconds and bolted doors in 7 seconds. Brute damage does 2.5x damage against them. Biohazard suits protect against their worm spreading abilities along with the toxin parts of their attacks.

It'd be nice if engineers had a "maint drone remote" where they can choose a maint drone from a menu, click a maint drone with it to select it, or choose a "all drones" option, and then input a custom command and click send. if this command is related to the drones tasks, (eg making a new room, building airlocks, repairing breaches or just regular structure damage, making machines {since grippers can grab the boards}) the drone has to follow the order but if it isnt related to what the drone's duties are they are to ignore the command otherwise its considered a break of law 1. also maybe make the drone have a "console synthesizer" that works as a portable circuit imprinter but only for circuits for machines/computers. I think this idea would be good because now drones can fix and make new machines without going all the way to an imprinter and grabbing boards one by one and the commands can be used for when engineers would like a little extra help with making new rooms or repairs (but only those drone related duties). Also maybe make it so drones can defend themselves from any living thing that attacks them that ISNT a human/humanoid (eg other species playable, even ash walkers and syndies count as not allowed to be harmed). (also add plasteel to their usable materials so they can make stuff like reinforced walls and such)

    maluses: being set on fire for more than 3 seconds ruins wings, 3x damage from fly swatters
