  1. I mean, I just dislike lavaland's loot overall. It's way too powerful compared to what you get on station. You could just make it so the armor/loot/weapons/etc dont work on station other than legion core. But i agree that if the mobs arent getting nerfed you shouldnt nerf to essentials to healing either. Especially since pretty much everything there can break your bones and finish you fast.

(CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT TO GET SCREENSHOTS) I'll word this out to paint the picture: i was a wizard, i decided "i'll be friendly" and ahelped to make sure its ok and when they said sure but there will be consequences i just thought "yes". So i teleported into scichem to gather some tools and found a nerd. When i teleported out i went to the experimentor because im a nerd and dont think. They called me out over the radio so i went to arcade where i found a nerd helping me get tickets since i didnt have an id to play the claw game. Shortly after i went to the bar and picked up some cards where nobody wanted to play blackjack.. cri sec found me. After a bit i went to processing to talk because dayana kept kidnapping me and had to be stunned. Shortly after saying the captain said i can have an id once i've been implanted, a wiznerd appeared and blew up about half the sec team. I died. After a paranormal ERT and some xenos and explosions and multiple wizards looking for my carcass i was cloned. I teleported into sec hallway where i said my final words: "Sup guys what'd i miss" when i was instantly shot and mauled with scythes and swords to death. After that it was basically a massive chaos manhunt with lots of xenos, transformed crew, a jani/medical/engi/sec ert and paranormal ert, and some borers. I left shortly after due to needing to do some irl stuff. By far the best round i've experienced. Thanks to day for being a nerd and kidnapping me at the worst time possible.

  4. Heya. This is just mah little thread for posting my art junk. Mostly pixel for now as im practicing getting my digital artwork with a mouse to go half an inch without a zig bump. Anyways here's what i got so far.

Slightly thin build with low strength. Has a curly tail with white accents.
  7. I can't explain why but the colors you draw with leave me in awe each time. You also find a way to bring out the colors really well and match them with everything else. Your art is amazing to look at and i'm glad your a part of here.

    IPC EMPs

    When IPCs get hit with an emp it shouldnt always be a game-ender. As we all know an IPC getting EMP'ed causes severe brute and burn along with internal damage causing instant death. I feel this is unfair because, as stated, it can be very often a game ender. I feel that instead of instantly damaging an EMP should cause a 15-20 second knockout depending on the source of the EMP (grenade, flashlight, etc). This is plenty of time to do whatever malicious needs you plan since they take extra brute and burn and are easy to remove the brain via commonly accessible tools. As a spam proof measure EMPs should not stack up, meaning spamming the flashlight doesnt reset the time or multiple grenades doesnt add more time, and such like that, and there is a 5 second cooldown after them waking up and being able to get up so that you cant knock em right back down again causing no chance to escape. To me this seems like a good way to balance instakilling IPCs as there arent much ways to instakill other species.
  10. i think unwrenched pipes should act like a vent/scrubber. when you run into the unwrenched bit you pop out of the vents. (this can apply to ANY vent crawling thing not just spiders)

  13. I feel your "outcomes" or what you would like to call them are better fit into the word "hopes" or even "distant dreams". I'm not trying to be rude i'm just saying that what you wish is extremely unlikely and not how this all can work. Alff i honestly love that vox respond like that. Its very interesting and i think its awesome that vox always have each other's backs (at least most of the time)
  14. I'm not good at writing long things so this is really it: i feel like crewsimov should be removed. The reason to this is that it is extremely abusable by crew as they can, for example, say to the ai "turn off turrets and let me beat you to death" or "you musn't tell anyone i just murdered the chef" and such like that. Corporate is a better lawset to keep because of its nature to decide based on whats at cost/whats being costly. What do you all think of this?
  15. If you have an IPC character you should get a extra button. This button toggles your backup slot. If the backup slot is on you can choose one of your other char's to load. Then code wise, you config the IPC to be able to roll vamp/cling BUT if they do it changes to their backup slot IF its organic AND backup is enabled. This allows IPC players the ability to be cling/vamp and toggle it off if they dont want a backup char/to be those antags.

  17. Engineering borg: replace engineer holobarrier projector with atmos holobarrier projector, as well as add plasteel, wood planks, and wood tiles, to its reserves. Medical borg: The hypospray. This hypospray is a tool that can hold 15u of five different liquids and switches between modes (inject, scan, create) by using it in your hand and switch chemical by right clicking it and changing it via a menu. To get new reagents to synthesize you can scan any container (hyprospray, syringe, dropper, pipette, beaker, bottle, etc etc) and then make that liquid with the exception of liquid drinks and foods. Starts with the ability to synthesize the five default hypospray chemicals along with one of each blood type. Medical grabber. This grabber can now hold things such as organs and mechanical organs along with the original function of waking people up off the table. The beaker can also now be placed in chem dispensers and when you close the chem dispenser menu or get far enough that you cant use the dispenser the beaker retracts back into your hand (or inventory if there are no slots availible), so that you can make your own chemicals to synthesize.

  19. I think it'd be cool if you could name/color grenades. Coloring could work with the wire grenade sprite and you can edit the name by using a pen on it BEFORE you screwdriver it to finish it and color it by using a pen AFTER you screwdriver it. Colors would be three kinds, light (the two lights on it, including the one that blinks), main (the color thats normally black), secondary (a stripe in the middle, like the oxy grenades, and the pin at the top). You can pick from colors such as red, yellow, orange, blue, light blue, green, purple, black, white, and pink (yellow wouldnt be available for the light color as thats the color it blinks when activated). Only wire grenades can be colored (this is because the other grenades, {igniter assembly grenades} dont have space to be customized really), though igniter assembly grenades can still be named the same way wire grenades are. I think this idea would be nice because you could then color code the grenades to sort them by purpose (healing, toxic, explosive, etc), and then name them to tell what they actually do.

  21. I was thinking maybe we could add a bit of lore to make IPCs able to be changeling and vampire. Changeling could be described as a specialized experimental weaponized chassis capable of transforming and absorbing organic material. It has an internal biological chemical synthesizer that it uses as fuel to change its chassis's shapes (tentacle, shield, armor, space suit, blade, etc etc,) or it can use the chemicals to create organic material to shape bone and skin and such to copy those who's dna it has stored via a special syringe (dna sting) or synthetic proboscis (absorbing) from its chassis, while hiding its true metal form inside the artificial skeletal structure. Vampire could be as simple as a specialized weaponary IPC chassis designed to have deployable fangs for the sucking of blood because this is the only thing able to fuel the IPC, and certain amounts of blood activate the other abilities of the special chassis (the vampire abilities). This actually is only really made possible if the config changes to IPC being able to be vamp/cling. These are just lore changes to make it actually make sense.
