  1. My idea was that this might make reviving an IPC quicker, as the roboticist can have a full body assembled and ready. If medbay gets a head they pass it to robotics and the roboticist slaps it on the frame, done.
  2. Bumping this seriously. I can do without the making of IPC heads. Can we at least get the torsos?
  3. A while.back space suits were removed..... and never added back. We still have the suit holders in EVA and engineering, just no suits. If you get basic EVA access and you need to go into space that leaves you with a clown or mime hard suit as your only options.
  4. The axe is still useful, just not better than an esword for damage now.
  5. Right now slimes are dealt with using fire extinguishers. Would it be possible to add showers to each small windoor airlock I'm xenobiology? Seems like a more clinical and efficient way to end them.
  6. Put it in a pocket. Fixes that. All you worry about is slipping. Key word being "naked" Well, I thought they meant naked as in no space suits. What idiot runs around naked in SS13?

  8. Dude, I love you so much. Thank you so much if you do this, it would make me so happy. I'm happy to accept the nerfs like removing leap and not being cloneable, all I want is to be superficially identical to the old Vox and to be able to naked EVA like the old days as balance for the nerfs. Because of how I read up on the lore when I made my character before the changes, I decided that the magclaws were actual prosthetic replacements for my character's feet (the toggleable prosthetics look awful on Vox, and Vox are supposed to be more machine than bird anyway). If there were a forced speed reduction on oldVox magclaws while the mag was disabled, I would have a hard time of things, as I wouldn't be able to remove the magclaws for RP reasons. Having a speed reduction with mag enabled is perfectly understandable. Thank you again, you're really improving my happiness if you bring this back for me. You still CAN eva nude as a Vox last I saw. You just need your nitrogen.
  9. Vox still can naked EVA. The magclaws had absolutely no downside and were very powerful. I suggest that they get magclaws back in EVA as reskinned magboots. That way they have all the penalties of magboots, but still are fluffy enough for Vox. The smaller tank was to keep Vox from being severly hampered in doing a regular job. I like that they now are not having to juggle their inventory constantly. Their leap was the worst thing ever. They got free knockdown from a distance with no way to prevent it. While neat that they can leap lore wise, it is a terrible thing in game. Kinda like slimepeople ventcrawling made them a favorite of griefers. TL;DR Put magboots reskinned to be claws in xeno EVA. Keep up the good work!
  10. I am completely fine with just printing torsos.
  11. Can someone turn the heat up? I feel a draft.
  12. This! I have seen two IPC in the game with custom colors and would love the ability to change mine!
  13. I really think the torso would help a lot to see IPC players get back into the round as their character.
  14. I mean you could say reduced mouth damage?
  15. Less head damage seems a bit OP, as most people aim for the head and woodpeckers do not have stronger skulls. They have shock absorbing for their beak, not the whole head.
  16. Could we add to the robotcist machine the ability to print IPC heads and torsos? At least the torsos. The heads could be printable to as to let posibrains that get activated be turned into IPC. In theory I suppose you might be able to put a normal brain in there. The torso though is much needed. Many times when an IPC is killed their head gets lost from their body. I have spent many rounds silently cursing as my head was found, but not my body. If both are added this could allow complete IPC bodies to be created, and stockpiled. It means a quicker way to get an IPC back into a round if the roboticist does their job, or a way for them to make a new player that is not a borg.
  17. Okay, I stand corrected. They would know the dangers, but hardsuits are supposed to be rare. I mean engineering and mining starts with them, and that is about all. (I know captain and paramedic do, but generally it is seen as poor form for them to walk around the station in a hardsuit.) Giving telescience a way to just ignore their only real downside seems pointless.
  18. It is if you expect to have a plasma fire and so within the first three minutes you teleport a hardsuit to yourself.
  19. I see little point in this. If part of your trouble is that you are lopping limbs off too quickly.... then stop complaining. The person just lost a limb and the only advantage they have is that you have a quick pause to select a new section while they limp off or fight back. Otherwise, someone could get an axe and just aim for a foot, and work their way up automatically.
  20. I think this is part of the problem. You admit to stealing a hardsuit with telesci. Isn't that is a prime definition of powergaming as well as meta? Do you steal weapons in case someone attacks you, or maybe the spare captain ID... in case you need to get somewhere locked. Where do you draw a line with being a teleporting magpie?
  21. Also, why five a hardsuit? Giving telesci one just means that there is less need for the atmos techs to do their jobs. If they have less to do, then they become David Buck....
  22. Whoo! Greatest thing ever. Someone else got the medivend. My only failure was not getting magivend.
