I thought Labor camp was slated for removal or improved.

Found a workaround...Vox being a shit? Locker + Welding Tool...Done...

too bad Vox can survive spess. This isn't an issue with other species, because they won't have anything to break windows with really.
-
Aright. I'll definitely do that instead. Thanks for the reply.

I'm not talking to you. You are not an admin.
Edit: That'll just give me more reason to take away voxygen tanks. I'll throw in some charcoal for them to survive with instead.

which is why I'm asking for a reason from the staff and which admins were part of it.

I'm curious what was the thought process about this. I'm left flustered why something that was label "Controversial" with continued debate managed to get merge without any good reason. Who were the administrators that allow this merge to happen?

Ohh I get it. I thought you were talking about the medical hud. Yeah that would be a neat feature to add. Basically as long as the Borgs intent is set to help and is a medical borg, you can scan people's health. I like it.

I don't see how this is a job ban worthy offense..I'm looking at the server rules, SoP, and Space Law. If it really is a job ban worthy offense, then it should be mentioned somewhere in one of those three. Otherwise that's just a failure in at the administration level. (An oversight of some kind)

Would is be better if the welding goggles was a random maintenance loot item?

I assumed that the main attraction in the assembly line was the toolbelt.
Many people may not know this, but tool belts (even security belts) can be easily made with biomass (Can be found at the Garden, Hydroponics, and I think the Research Outpost)

1. Atmospheric Technicians are permitted to completely repipe the Atmospherics Piping Setup, provided they do not pump harmful gases into anywhere except the Turbine;
2. Atmospheric Technicians are not permitted to create volatile mixes using Plasma and Oxygen, nor are they permitted to create any potentially harmful mixes with Carbon Dioxide and/or Nitrous Oxide. An exception is made when working with the Turbine;
This has conflicts when building a TEG. At least in my perspective, it seems that way.

Well that's pretty much the point. Of course gas pump will pump less air and eventually stops making sure that is stays regulated at x amount of kPa. Output will continue to rise greater than the x amount of kPa if output has something heating it. It won't pump anymore.
The results were the same with the volume pump. It eventually stops pumping anymore air once it reaches about 9000 to 10000 kPa. Output will continue to rise if output has something heating it. It won't pump anymore basically.
In conlusion, the variables is dependent on the output volume(pipes, containers, rooms, etc). Gas pump and Volume pump go at the same speed however Volume pump does eventually stop because its not 'strong' enough to pump more than 10000 kPa ish...
edit: And the reason again is I stick with Gas pump, because is simply easy to manage pressure if siphoning is required. siphoning something over 9000 kPa can be a pain in the butt. Now I do siphon with volume pumps however...I use all that in the waste loop...
-
from which side the input or output direction?
Edit: From what I understand, regardless of heat...Volume pump will max at 9000kpa-ish... The problem with that is the fact that its harder to siphon unless you use the gas pump at 4500kpa max... Heating up is not a factor for pumps if the heat is in the output direction such as ones you find in toxins or the turbine.

For those who want to argue with me about why I prefer using Gas Pumps instead of Volume pump...

So I'm thinking about looking into some stuff to make Atmospheric Tech/Life Support Specialist, more interesting.
That and because I want to expand my own fun on the job, because I pretty much getting bored..jk...If you have any suggestion, I would like to hear from you. Hit me up on discord if you want to have a chat about some stuff we can look at or here.Brief Summary:
Atmospherics can be run autonomously the entire shift and I kinda prefer it that way. In addition, it can be improved upon depend on who is setting it up that shift. Of course even the autonomous stuff can be improved to expand on the players imagination, but I won't go any farther that that. Another thing is that I want Atmos Tech known as a valuable member of the station, because right now I see Station Engineers replacing Atmos Techs jobs and assignment that they both can be practically merged into one. I would like to improve the split difference mechanically without ruining any fun in general roleplay. So if I don't procrastinate this is what I want to do:Things I can work on:
- Map Changes and Job items/access
- Engines - TEG/Turbine
- Re-textures and snowflake Items (like new uniform or hats...everyone likes hats.)
- Pipes and Disposals
- Atmospheric SoP - https://nanotrasen.se/forum/topic/10010-standard-operating-procedure-update/
- Better defining the role and other definition.
Things I would need help with:
- Fucking LINDA - not literal
- Computer relate stuff (Atmos Alarms or Consoles, etc)
- Adding new features - I'm not at that level of coding yet
Things I won't do:
- Making Atmospherics easier - I want it to be fun and interesting. If we just make it easier then there won't be any need for atmospheric techs.
- Rapid Pipe Dispenser..no no and no. I don't want to see this. (Unless you give me good reason)

@Crazylemon I've been saying this from the very beginning. I was one of few people who probably didn't want to see it merge. Fox explained it and was right regardless how many people turned him down in the comments. https://github.com/ParadiseSS13/Paradise/pull/6076
I'm all for a change in maintenance (Changes in map in general, not just maint), but it needs to have a purpose and an intention. Not just some weird mess. https://nanotrasen.se/forum/topic/9840-new-maintenance-feedback-thread/#comment-82089

I've got a fungal infection for you to clean up
Here you see a admin turning down someone by antagonizing the OP's suggestion without putting forth anything useful to the table.
edit: Whether it was intentional as a joke because you guys know each other. I won't know.
Other than that. I think there should be something done about that glowing fungus that spreads. It's pretty spammy.

@Deanthelis That's too much snowflaking for sending a simple message to the admin. The only thing that should be required is grammar/spelling, sign and stamp. In addition to making sure your letter is well documented of issues and not a demand for something. Request are accepted.
-
I'm against any job with shared departments. Who the hell wants to be under two or more bosses? Let's keep it simple and state that in the SoP.
-
About every round, more than half the engineers won't follow SoP either. Many know they can get away of being fired and would only take the job for the tools, access, and hardsuit to mess around. I can't really mentions all the reasons why, but they will fully disregard SoP.
-
@ZN23X I tend to do that the more and more the person wants to be a little shit and try to test my patience.
@Nethlafin Nope. The best part of knowing SoP and Space Law etc, is that you can do this without having an admin bwoinking you if you are smart enough. Unless the shitter salts to the admins.

I don't understand this at all. Making SoP enforced by admins OOC would lead to more bans not less. And the bans would be for incredibly silly reasons also.
I was picking out an argument about players only seeing the SoP as something optional. Would it increase job bans for those who don't know SoP? That is a possibility.
edit: This may decrease the amount of incompetence in players playing their certain role.

Can we implement the same code in which lockboxes can be hacked with multitool? You know like the crates you find in the asteroids as a miner? If you fail to unlock it (after many attempts) then it explodes in your hand (no damage of course)
