  1. Farya, what else can we implement that would incentivise roleplay? At this point it's purely up to the playerbase. If people want to roleplay of their own volition, they will. If they want to be P2Wing shitters, they will.
  2. Is this to stop borgs from seeing the law and just rampantly murdering people? Because if it is, just tell the cyborgs to quit it. If they continue, adminhelp it for disobeying their AI master.
  3. I'm not sure how I feel about this. After the primary antags of a round are dead, it basically becomes extended until the transfer shuttle. As it stands now, I notice most rounds last the entire two hours until a transfer shuttle, and a lot of these uneventful rounds are quite, well, boring for most people. Not only that, but what becomes of the victims of the antags? Maybe some rounds should be kept short and sweet. I understand that the players are given the opportunity to vote, but this seems a little...forced? I don't know.
  4. The issue is that for a lot of antags, their objectives are exactly that: binary. How would you incorporate a percentage rating for the objective to steal item x, or kill person y?
  5. Well, I don't doubt that. From a purely gameplay perspective, my I still stand that by my argument that it's a stupid objective. OP makes a good point. Why should you have to choose between dying and getting the success at the end and not dying and getting a failure? If the lore is as malleable as you say, then what's to say that people aren't brainwashed to the Syndicate? I feel that would be a better solution. Not only would it make this objective unnecessary, but it would give people some wiggle room to roleplay a defector or something along those lines.
  6. Is that the generally agreed upon lore? I always assumed people were deeply in debt, or their families were threatened until they did something for the Syndicate.
  7. But these agents are not exactly loyalty to the Syndicate the way loyalty implanted crewmembers are to Nanotrasen and whatnot. They just won't receive their orders and go "well, looks like I better kill myself!". Will the Syndicate send someone after them? From a lore perspective, absolutely. However, logically speaking, these people would likely try and defect to Nanotrasen.
  8. Yeah, I agree. It's kind of a stupid objective.
  9. Out of sheer curiosity, why not?
