  1. Kudos for proper use of !!FUN!!. Recently had a xeno infestation in viro, went in with two other people armed with AEGs. One damn xeno murdered us all, only using tackle and xenospit.

    Hello folks !

Welcome to the flying metal deathtrap in the sky, enjoy your stay.
  3. They have potential, but no one ever uses them unless it's to fuck up t-comms. I could give them a chance, but frankly I don't think it's worth keeping if they fuck up t-comms all the time.
  4. Three minutes in the brig for being a turbonerd *snap
  5. I'd be okay with a few caution signs at the corners of each shuttle dock, or maybe a pinging sound to notify any poor saps stuck in the shuttle's path that they're about to be atom smashed.

    hi hi hi hi

Ayy, I arrested you twice already. Welcome to the server bud.
  7. To give an honest response, we already have sleepy pens for traitors, and non-antag chemists already have enough methods to apply their creations. It's a fun idea, but that's not enough to add it to the game.
  8. If it broke cuffs and had a high cost to buy, I would be down. Right now the last resort for most changelings is to go headslug, and crawl for a vent. I see no harm in rewarding powerful changelings, who have likely already completed their objectives, to have a more powerful alternative.
  9. More or less the same thing, just different terminology. An imbalance of power levels.
  10. dip one spear in potassium, another in water.
  11. On the question of game balance: How do we maintain a balance where the average crewmember is unlikely to survive, yet through teamwork or specific gear is able to survive? In other words, how to make threats HARD for the crew and their resources, but not seemingly IMPOSSIBLE? How do we maintain game balance as to ensure we can have an RP environment, while still allowing chaos to thrive? How do we determine if a change was successful or not, and whether or not to revert the change? How do we ensure that there exists multiple viable options for the crew and antagonists? An option being too overpowered or too underpowered, even in specific situations, proves to be another problem as well. To sum it up, what I'm asking is: How do we balance our game as to make it fun and fair for everyone involved? Do note, I'm not saying that an assistant should be able to go to to toe with a xeno. Imbalances should exist.
  12. Three shots of vodka before bed. This is totally not a bad idea guys.
  13. Make plasmamen free, but the plasmaman hardsuit cost 100kp
  14. Do you have a page where you post your stuff? Tumblr, DA, ect.
  15. We have IAAs to handle minor crimes. If you're getting ignored by security, go to them. Furthermore, minor crimes like those you're describing are the hardest part of playing security, oddly enough. Unless the perp is very, very clearly being a shitler, security has to go through the mess of deciphering who started what, how badly did X beat up Y, was it self defense, who owned the item in the first place, ect. An undercover cop isn't going to solve any of that. If anything, undercover cops are going to just clog up processing even more than it already is. These days people have a very bad tendency of bringing people into processing rather than directly to a cell, so that room get flooded with prisoner's junk and people just standing around because no one has the balls to actually sentence the prisoner sitting in processing. It's an admirable idea, but in practice I just can't see it working.
  16. Someone else who willingly plays IAA? Nice to know I'm not the only masochist who plays Paradise. Welcome to the forums, I suggest leaving now before you have a good time here and get suckered into staying.
  17. Welcome to the forums, hope you have a good time here. Avoid the salt-traps and refrain from calling people morons, you moron. Also no fucking swearing.
  18. I wouldn't mind seeing it block all tazer + disabler shots. If a traitor manages to snag it, they ought to be rewarded.
  19. Leave now while you still can. I'm not joking they suckered me in and now I'm a god damn mentor for this shitty server. But really, welcome to Paradise Station. I suggest you drop by the discord and say hi to the nerds, ogle at Phatasmic's fanart, and have a safe shift.
  20. /tg/ explained why humanoid reptiles can have tits, even if they're not used for the same reasons mammals have them. I think it's something to do with heat and energy storage, or maybe balance.

    greetings

Welcome to the server, leave while you still can. If you intend on staying, hope you have fun on Paradise. Join the discord server, get to know the locals.
  22. I read earlier in the thread, and I disagree. They're makeshift weapons, they should have a disadvantage to represent that.
  23. Reduced capacity on stunprods is the weakest nerf for such a powerful weapon. You only need one stun to kill someone/get cuffs on them, capacity only matters for security officers because they're stunning multiple people before going back to recharge. +1, now we just need to fix crossbows.
