lets try to string this together. first on the research outpost is a spaceship that works like the syndie-ship and can travel to different locations with variable enviroments (some being dangerous) and obstacles...and robust mobs.

put it all on a admin Z level so you cant teleport there...or scrap the spaceship and make a new z level for telescience to find all the locations...this is where the telesci math puzzles come in.

there is still hope for a ''different'' combat system. see that arcade machine? make a new version of it.

and the puzzles are quite complex. first get a whip from this planet and use said whip to find a tablet and haul it back somewhere. here is where all the block moving begins ):<

next time i'll get the CE to approve my modification with a stamp and signature.

more vids of security arresting me for silly raisins hopefully coming soon but school is starting today.

i also need to fiddle with my OBS settings so my laptop can handle recording with it.

edit: this is my 69th post

  5. all complaints are sent trough PDA into he system then sent to all PDAs of the security force with three levels of priorities. also a big screen inside security and bridge showing all the complaints so the warden or HoS can help filter false alarms.

i have some goon experience so i COULD explain...here goes. i was playing my old character Leo Smith.

we decided to go on telesci adventures to visit all the fun locations...apparently most of those locations are related to the solarium in some way. you are supposed to collect items from each location. use items from one location to do indiana jones stuff in the other. if you are fast enough you MIGHT have enough specific items to do solarium stuff.

...if you do the solarium wrong the server gets a red filter and a static background topped of with a BDOS screen...then the next round starts...but something is wrong and radio is down and the ''centcomm investigation team'' need to survive and call the shuttle.

like typical goonstation. people keep secrets to themselves.

edit: when you get back the station has already gone to shit.

edit 2: get a original name other than solarium.

to make this thread fun i colored a specific word

i would like to see a separate PDA messaging system. just for security collect reports or complaints from civilians.

since the radio gets spammed easily during crisis, security is likely going to miss some calls for help.

so having people PDA ''X did Y'' to a central security hub connected to all security PDAs and newscasters would be great, but there is still a few problems.

PDA spam is a concern but we can filter it in crime category or put a cooldown timer or just arrest the guy for misuse of comms.

the fact you cant PDA security while being murderized just use the comms, if things go well only calls for urgent help go on radio and less urgent things go into the pipeline.

make sure people KNOW that security ignores lesser crimes reported over radio.

if you guys are lazy just implement it into newscasters

this really needs some refining but it will work.
