  1. ========================= November 5th 2566AD Running system diagnostic... Done Primary Power: Offline Secondary Power: malfunctioning Emergency Power: Operational Communications: Offline Life support: Failing Estimated 5 days remaining Priority indeviduals detected onboard: 3 Opening Escape Pod doors... Done Sending Emergency Distress beacon... Done ========================= Administrator Notes: Fuck, it seems the station's been hit by some type of Ion storm or EMP. Ehat ever it was, it's fried the Primary power and Secondary systems aren't powering on. I seem to be doing fine somehow even though I am robotic in nature. Emergency Power will work for the moment but I fear that Chicako may not be able to stay aboard for the period of time it'll take for NT Engineers to arrive to fix the issue. Best to send him down to Boron II, Better chance of survival down on the ground. Just in case, I've sent him down with Runtime and two disks containing a copy of Me and a copy of PURPLE. Now I just need to worry about my systems and the power left in the station. Back up PLATINUM models have been booted up on each station, they should be able communicate with each other on a very basic level. At this rate they're just like the PURPLE units. Either way, it seems I may have to go offline for a while, NT be damned, if they need me, they'll send their techs, I'm sure of it. Lets just hope thats relatively soon. -PLATINUM Beta Station AI =========================

  3. This feels like its in the same realm as putting a collar/name tag on a terror spider. I would be against a feature like you're suggesting and there's a few reasons for this: A need for a snowflake in a check for both proposed solutions If you take xenomicrobes it, it's intentionally designed to change a crew member into an unidentifiable horror space alien. The proposed change goes against the idea of xenomicrobes being a horrifying bioweapon that traitors can use against their targets or unsuspecting explorers ingest which results in them being hunted by their own colleagues and possibly causing station panic. Explorers will be more inclined to take xenomicrobes because they know they're less likely to be killed; being able to be named validates this behavior Dying Permanently because you made a rare lethal mistake or choice with heavy consequences for your own biology is perfectly fine and should be more accepted

  4. Just a quick administrative note here: Please don't bump your threads. This just forces us to re-open a thread that is already being considered to see what new content has been added. Finding that it's a bump is a waste of our time and demonstrates an impatience on your part that does not positively contribute to the unban process. We don't handle your threads in the order they appear on the forum anyway, so it doesn't do any good. If it's taking a long time, that's because a lot of discussion or investigation has been required. The one time that you should bump your thread is to notify us that you've made a change to your appeal by editing it. In which case a quick note saying that it's been changed is preferable to a note saying "bump".
