I use Gimp. All of my sprites in total? Hmm, many many hours. Matters what the sprite is and if it's something I've never done, like that door for example took 2 hours, I've never done a door before. I contacted you earlier about using your fox sprite in our codebase---just haven't gotten around to implementing it yet! I'll definitely be looking through to see if there's anything to use here.
