Jaden Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Hey everyone. I'm Jaden. I've been playing on Cyberiad for about a week now in varying roles. I'm from New England, and generally play during EU peak / early US. I played a few rounds of Civilian to get acclimated, then 2 shifts as cargo tech before jumping headlong into Security. Even as a relatively new player, I've had a good time of it because I actually try to follow space law / procedure. I've seen lots of 'playing hard and fast' with some sec officers / heads so I enjoy actually going around, trying to build rapport with crewmembers, and generally trying to dispel 'shitcurity', even when I get robusted doing my job. I'm likely going to learn Doctoring soon, but I'm going to be doing some stints as IAA to try and keep everything operating smoothly. As the title says, I booted up to this server and learned its map to start with, and I haven't found another server I'd rather play on. Even in the lulls and off peak hours there's usually something I can get up to. My biggest question would be how everyone feels about recording shifts and putting them up on youtube. I really think this game has huge potential for comedy / intrigue even if its not going to get a million views, but I don't want to be seen as some low effort spammer. You're definitely welcome to stream your gameplay from our server, make let's play videos and otherwise share it with other people. As an example, one of our other players has made a series of comedy videos on youtube about playing SS13. I've placed a link to one of the episodes below.
