  1. 75% block chance for bullets on the dual esword. Dual eswords cannot block: Mech Punches, Thrown objects (that includes corpses which knock down), shoves (also known as loldisarms), any sort of spray, yes that includes lube, napalm, chlorine trifluoride, tesla blasts from the tesla revolver (that is an actual counter to carp aswell aslong they are not hit by the main blast), any sort of explosives, that includes 50/50 pot water that just dents the hull a little bit, anything with fire, that includes dragonsbreath shotgun rounds, Ion shots.

Carp is just: Dont engage them alone.

They get incredibly broken when combined with other things, including but not limited to: Bloodred Hardsuits, Shielded Hardsuits, Powered Armor in general, Implants of all kinds. Immortality chem implants, Meth, Antistuns, Antidrop, a bluespace backpack full of weapons... that kind of stuff. Thats the shit that makes Dual Esword and Carp broken. Using them together with some of the gear you get from your regular job...

  2. Might aswell make Granola a thing. Granola is amazing. Its baked oatflakes with sugar and honey in it. Ingame it could take Oatmeal, sugar and honey, put it into the oven, done. Also brings me up to cataclysms most favourite very efficient food: Cooked Oatmeal and Deluxe Cooked oatmeal. While normal cooked oatmeal isnt too interesting (Its mostly basicly oatmeal and sugar) the deluxe cooked oatmeal could use sugar and peanuts for once. And its made in the microwave cause why not.

Side question: do vampires take extra damage from being shot with crossbow bolts? I paid with a crossbow for a spacepod  once during a vampire round because "vampires are vulnerable to rods through the heart.", but is that actually true?

I feel sorry that this myth is still alive. Its some bullshit I said when I was a vamp once and it seems to still live on. No they dont take any extra damage.

    Detailed Information:

Appearance: Thali stands at a height of 1.66 meters and has pitchblack scales going with glowing red eyes. There are spikes rupturing out of both of her arms facing backwards. Along her spine are sharp quills facing downwards. Her tail is tipped with a spike. Her facial expression is empty, devoid of life, yet unnatural tight and drawn and her body is covered in glyphs and markings similar to those that cover a shadowling ascendants body. Her right hand got a dark red sigil like pattern on it. Her claws her pitchblack and seem to be a blurred mass of darkness when exposed to strong lights. They are extremly elongated, occasionally giving her trouble with some physical tasks, e.g firing a weapon. She appears to have 3 sets of horns on her head. The largest one are big backwards facing horns being of a dark grey color. Two sets of backwards facing paired horns adorn the sides of those large horns being dark red in color. Countless of smaller spikes facing backwards in a warped and curved fashion are on the top and back of her head closely resembling "hair" or "quills". Two small grey horns protude from her chin, both facing backwards. On her right hands palm is a second crimson glyph that appears to look like a closed eye.

    Character Voice:

Deep, calm, calculated. Compare it to Flying Fortress Irkalla from the Mental Omega mod for Red Alert 2.

    Personality:

Herself being extremly calm after her last reappearence. She doesnt show much sign of emotional reactions except when pressed upon, however likes to scream occasionally when people arround her are behaving "incompetent" or "dumb". Herself being a Shadowling she does not fear death in particular, it is merely an inconvenience for her. Often toys arround with her powers like casting forth an immense red lightning from her right hand, but never actually using it to hurt anyone. She attempts to help her friends whereever she can although sometimes she feels like a burden to them.

Recently has been becoming more and more erratic in her behavior, especially towards humans. Rarely tolerates their innate feeling of "superiority" tends to be extremly hostile towards them. She seems to lack any respect towards any sentient life at times and rather uses others as a tool if they are not friends to her.

    Medical Record:

Ny'Arleth, currently known as Halqu-Shi'Ny'Arleth is a shadowling hybrid subverted by Nanotrasen. She takes the appearence of young Unathi female in pitchblack color and red spikes with greyish horns while retaining most of her other features derrived from shadowlings. Those include red, piercing, lifeless eyes, an unnaturally tight and firm gaze, spikes errupting from her arms and glyphs covering her body.
The subject does not use any of her powers when working on the Cyberiad. She is in perfect physical condition except for her natural light sensitivity.

Her Psyche is severly dented since she reappeared. Subject suffers from severe Anxiety and Paranoia and has claims of her bringing some entities in she calls "Shroudborn" or "Shabanash". These entities allegedly feed on energy and consume everything there is and prey on her kind. Whenever confronted with the "Shroudborn" the subject falls into sheer fear and paranoia, often questioning bystanders if they are "with them". She seems terribly afraid of people with cyan blueish eyes. She seems to have extreme anger issues as of recently.

Subject is still very well able to manipulate other personel, however due to her being subverted to NT this is an asset that is being used for research and for taking occasional head roles on the Cyberiad. She takes tasks extremly serious and with utmost precision. She still retains some of her "more humane" features however and can converse normally with people.

Recently she shows extreme anxiety towards any officals from Central Command, herself running into maintenance tunnels and hiding while crying.

    Character Biography

Background: Initially she was a Vulpkanin, but got assimilated by a Shadowling during a particulary eventfull shift on the Cyberiad. Herself keeping most of her appearence, however bearing most of her marks. Alot of the records have been lost since her last dissappearence, perhaps intentionally done by her. As she resurfaced on the Cyberiad she started being severly unhappy with her appearence, of low confidence and extremly paranoid.  After talking to some of her friends who recognized her she made a decision to leave her old "appearence" behind and most that sticks with it. Herself now appearing as a pitchblack Unathi with most physical features found on a shadowling ascendant. Her psyche is still fairly unstable due to her encountering some other entities which call themself "Shabanash" from another dimension called "The Shroud". She allegedly wanted to get the Shabanash to consume "The Traitor"/Nar'Sie but herself stepping into their realm she was seen as an intruder. She barely escaped, scarred and scared by them while they were made aware of the known universe. Ever since then she is extremly vary of them reappearing warning people to watch out for anyone with unnatural cyan glowing eyes. Recently she seems to have taken interest in hunting eldritch abominations that seem to manifest more and more on the Cyberiad while taking parts of them as a trophy.

    Other Information:

Herself is currently occupied building a small asteroid base for herself and a few selected friends of hers. She resides inside a small "pocket dimension" sort of whenever she needs to rest. Death is just an inconvenience as are any ways of form changes. The latter annoys her extremly however to the point of her just "leaving early" to take care of that matter.

Her room on said asteroid base is empty. It is of an unnatural black color. Inside appears to be a crimson colored leather chair to sit on. Besides the chair to its left is a plain dark wooden display case which gives off a slight red glow. Inside that display case is a red glowing blade with a golden hilt, extremly lightweight and sharp. The blade is engraved with various runes of a long dead tongue. On the display case is a label reading "Fleshrender, Sword of the Demon Prince:". Behind the chair on the wall hangs an enormous demonic looking skull including its spine. Next to the skull are to the left and right each two glowing red orbs. The skull and the sword appear to be a trophy from a recent "hunt" Thali has partaken on the Cyberiad. To the right of the leather chair is another display case displaying two medals of exceptional heroism. On the right wall attached is a huge rack for storing skulls. To the top left is the skull of a Vox. Next to the Vox Skull is another Vox Skull wearing a wizard head. To the far right is a warped skull, looking like hybrid of a Unathi and Vulpkanin; a Changeling beheaded mid shapeshifting, next to the changelings skull is the massive skull of a xenomorph queen. Underneath the Xenomorph Queens skull is a bloody slaugherdemons skull, to the left of the demons skull is another warped head with thermal receptors in its eyesockets.

Above the Skull wih thermal receptors is another recent trophy, the massive head of a prince of terror including intact mandibles and fangs.

Next to the end table is a glass cabinet with metal supports. Inside is a well preserved armblade of a changeling.

Recently she has been abducted by the Official [Redacted] followed by frequent gruesome experiments to her physique, mental state and abilities, aswell as extracting information about other personnel. She is deeply anxious when central officials are arround.

    Thalis Trophies:

"Fleshrender", Sword of the Demon Prince, Date of aqquisition 21.8.2562, torn out from a massive man eating demons heart after an extradimensional incursion on the Cyberiad.

"The Demon Prince Skull and spine", Date of aqquisition 21.8.2562, aqquired from the Demon Prince who attacked the Cyberiad, many people have been slain and needed to be cloned by NT, but the prince is no more. Merely its skull and spine and a sword ripped from its heart remain as a trophy for the Princes Slayer.

"Medal of Exceptional Heroism", Date of aqquisition 21.8.2562, awarded for slaying the Demon Prince while granting save evacuation for the crew. Thali was employed as the HoS that day.

"Medal of "Exceptiona"l "Heroism"", Date of aqquisition 11.9.2562, awarded for opening the AI Sat with thermite helping security with the onslaught. And spacing a syndicate bomb at escape... which landed at arrivals... killing many.

"Vox Skull", Date of aqquisition  22.8.2562, ripped from the body of a Vox who "pissed me off enough" according to her by using a dual esword stashed away in her pocket dimension.

"Vox Wizards Skull", Date of aqquisition  22.8.2562, ripped from a dead wizard. While not her kill she took the trophy for helping to hunt down this disgusting abomination.

"Warped Skull", Date of aqquisition  5.9.2562, a changelings head, warped. Changing from Vulpkanin form to a Unathi form. A grim reminder of what once was.

"Xenomorph Queens Skull", Date of Aqquisition 24.9.2562, During a Xenomorph infestation Thali killed the queen and ripped its skull out.

"Lesser Demons Skull", Date of Aqquisition 25.9.2562, Slaughterdemon paid the Cyberiad a visit. Got killed by security and Blueshield Thali, Thali took the head and ate the heart for power.

"Warped Skull with thermal receptors", Date of aqquisition 2.10.2562, A changeling paid a visit and was dispatched by the security team lead by Thali as HoS. She took the head and thermal receptors as a trophy after removing the brain.

"Changelings Armblade", Date of aqquisition 2.10.2562, Same changeling had a massive armblade out. Thali tore it off and took it home.

"Prince of Terrors Head", Date of aqquisition 13.10.2562, Thali has slain a prince of terror during her HoS shift. Most of sec was clueless on how to hunt "big game".

    To Do: Color Coding.

  6. The folder was empty and the docs with the weapon blueprints where in a cheese :P. Which was on the exfiltration shuttle... but,

A mech with the craptain boarded the SST shuttle and has beaten the two operatives to a pulp 2 seconds after round end. Why they did not leave immediatly after aqquiring the sensible docs is beyond me, probably something like "Leave noone behind" hehe. Outcome of that Encounter Unknown. Probably casualities for both sides and the random baldie walking in grabbed the fucking bag with the cheese wheel.

  7. So I was told by @Tzo to post this suggestion on the forums and flesh it out a little, not sure if its the right place to suggest that. But it could be a nice event I guess.

Name of Event: The Eternal Blossom/Fissure in Reality/Crystaline Corruption

One Sentence Description: A cyan crystaline growth appears from some kind of fissure in reality itself and starts spreading, consuming everything in its path, heavily inspired from Darkest Dungeons Color of Madness, Stellaris, Cataclysm DDA and C&C Tiberian Sun.

    Map Changes: Yes/No

    Not required

    Code Changes: Yes/No

Requires some extra code, the spread code could be taken from glowshroom spread. Those reskinned "glowshrooms" could cause a disease on contact/vicinity called "Crystaline Corruption" that purges all other viral agents and take over the body of the person. The person that are not cured in time turn into a "Crystaline Husk", "Thing from the Shroud" or a stationary entity called "The Sleeper" that is basicly some sort of "AI" given orders to the husks and things (things are changelings with only certain skills aviable).  The Sleeper could be an admin basicly relaying orders to those afflicted by crystaline corruption. The cure for Crystaline corruption could be something like Plasmadust and Unstable mutagen (both combined) or of course death. Disease developement should be slow. The disease is a 5 Stage disease, at stage 3 people start coughing up/spawning crystals. How to fight it? Similar how you stop crystalization. You heat them.

    Suggested Number of Players: 80+

    Full Description of Event:

    "An Unbidden Presence":

Recent extradimensional manipulation experiments of NT have caused a massive resonance cascade resulting in a tear in spacetime near the Cyberiad warping reality itself. Entities from different universes with different laws of physics blurr in and start spreading out. One of those "gaps" harbours an entity named "The Eternal Blossom"  and it appears on the Cyberiad. While a fairly small gap it brings forth one of the more horryfing spawns from a realm called "The Shroud". A crystaline malignant growth that consumes and spreads while assimilating all in its path, capable of absorbing most forms of energy, with the notable exception to heat. Initially the crew will be alerted about an experiment going very wrong in the department of extradimensional affairs of NT. The message could look like this after the alert gets raised to Red by Central: "An experiment of the extradimensional affairs department has gone very wrong and caused a MASSIVE tear in reality in the sector. The Cyberiad might be affected aswell. The crew is advised to sweep the station and report any and all irregularities.". Somewhere in maintenance the "Eternal Blossom" fissure will spawn (basicly use the tear in reality the veil render causes) and a cyan growth starts spreading. The crew knows nothing about it being highly contagious. After some crew made contact with it medbay should notice (and the crew probably too) that a disease is spreading (spreads only by contact with the crystals, not airborne) and those infected will start to feel like their blood is turning solid alongside cyan crystals rupturing out of their skin causing massive pain and seizures. Meanwhile Central updates the station that whatever the fissure brought though is hostile and has the intention of spreading across the sector, perhaps more.

    "Ceaseless Expansion":

"Hail Cyberiad, An update on the ongoing crisis. So far we figured out that the fissure is self aware, extremly hostile, feeds on most forms of energy and spreads a contagious crystaline growth. This means a nuclear option is completly out of question since it would feed the fissure. The station is under quarantine to resolve the crisis. The crystaline growth it seems to grow can be contained with heat based weapons and tools. Get welders for the crystals itself and energy weapons for the husks and other things the crystals seem to create. Personnel transformed by the crystals cannot be recovered. We have their DNA on backup. DO NOT hesistate to put transformed personnel down. The cure for an ongoing infection inside personnel seems to be a combination of Plasma Dust and Unstable Mutagen. The fissure might be containable by creating a singularity near it. We provided a stabilized singularity. Use it directly next to the fissure. Alert level raised to Code Gamma, we send in reinforcements. Destruction of the growth and closure of the fissure is of utmost priority.".

People in the last stage of the disease are husked and turn either into "Crystaline Husk of [Name]" or "[Name], Thing of the Shroud" the former being a regular crewmember but at permanent walking speed but with regenerative abilities while spreading the crystals and being able to infect other healthy crewmember, they can use any tools and have a hivemind similar to the shadowlings, their objective is "Spread the gift, assimilate the untouched, help the Eternal Blossom, listen to the Sleepers order".

The latter is more or less a changeling with an permanent armblade (renamed to "crystaline blade), permanent armshield (crystaline growth) and some ling abilities like regeneration, speed boost etc. They are strong and fast combat units but cannot use any tools. Their objective is "Destroy any noteworthy opposition to the eternal blossom, pave our way. Listen to the Sleepers orders.".

An admin is the overmind named "The Sleeper" and basicly orders the husks and things arround to spread and coordinates them.

Central declares gamma when the first husks and things appear and sends in additional reinforcements (be it tools, weapons and or personnel) to stop the spread of the outbreak since nuking the station would only give the eternal blossom what it wants which is energy. Heat might destroy the crystals but nuking the station would result in the fissure enlarging basicly endangering the entire sector. The crew fights the crystaline corruption similar how they fight a blob, vines and comdom botanists spreading shadowshrooms: Grab welders and laser weapons and go ham.

"A glimpse of what horrors to come":

The fissure closes at the 1:30-1:55 hour mark for unknown reasons and if the crew has not defeated the growth by then NT either sends the cleanup crew (read deathsquad) to nuke the station or gives the captain, should they be alive, the Nuke Codes since the fissure is closed and the station can safely be nuked. NT excuses themself to the crew that this is the only way and they have their DNA on backup (everyone, that includes none cloneable species) should the Nuke Codes be sent, saying that those experiments might have opened Pandoras Box so to say, or if the crew and ERT miserably fails "We cannot leave any witnesses of this, commencing purge. Activating Code Epsilon".

The point of this event is to bring some more "pseudo" cosmic horror into the game which is kinda lacking with only 2 dedicated antags to it (Slings and Cult). The pseudo is because a true cosmic horror cannot be beaten by mortals (or even some immortals) due to their sheer overwhelming nature. The event would bring the entire crew together fighting a greater kind of "evil" (atleast from their perspective) that is an unbidden guest in their universe. It is not a biohazard per se and should not be treated as one (nuking it will only give it what it wants). It is more of a "containment breach" ala SCP stories.

Fluff and Lore (short and not too fleshed out, convoluted and Insanity Inducing, You have been warned):

The Eternal Blossom  is coming from a seemingly far older reality/universe known as "The Shroud" which harbors far far more complex laws of physics thus having to adapt forms like the crystaline corruption to be able to "advance and conquer". The "Shroud" has many different inhabitants and the "Eternal Blossom" only being one of many "lifeforms" in there. Not all are intrinsicly hostile like the "Eternal Blossom" but most dont understand that their very presence, even the adapted forms is incredibly destructive to all things in the known universe. Think of the "Eternal Blossom" being something inbetween the Blob, a Virus and a Parasitic Fungus. It consumes, reproduces and enslaves.

"The Shroud" harbors forms of energy not present in the normal universe. It lacks however "Heat" as a form of energy.

"The Shroud" as the name suggest appears to be a dimension/universe/reality which is covered in a thick cyan glowing mist, no clear structures being found when having a short gaze into it. Gazing too long upon it turns people simply insane by its sheer complexty (and the fact that the cyan glow irradiates something that messes with the brains of organics and synthetics alike, no matter who or what they are). Few examples of other entities that inhabit this realm are the "Shroudhunters" or "Shabanash", think of Unbidden of Stellaris. They are the Apex Predator in the Shroud and feed on any other "life" there and the "Wraith" or "Dagaal" which feed on the "Eternal Blossom" and lesser shroudborn. The Eternal Blossom in terms  siphons energy from the "Shroudhunters" (which are aware of that and treat the "Eternal Blossom" as a disease).

The Shabanash are of one mind and truly sentient. They are not a hivemind but have no deviants in their "species". Think of Vox kinship but with no backstabbing at all, not under any given circumstance. They are a swirling mass of blue energy, vaguely in humanoid form with up to 6 piercing cyan spheres in an appendage what vaguely resembles a head. They have no interest in feeding on life in the regular universe (It is not worth the effort, but they are interesting to study) and are more intrigued that there are entire stars, singularities and "Kugelblitz Phanomena" blazing with energy which they could feed on without any resistance or anyone bothering them. They can simply form an "avatar" which they can remote control from "The Shroud" to explore the regular universe, the "Avatar" has some noteable features however, like cyan glowing eyes and most of the time being vulnerable to electromagnetic pulses. "Shabanash" can manifest part of themself to feed on energy sources in the regular universe should they desire so.

The "Dagaal" are similar to the "Shabanash" but instead feed on anything they can find. They are unable to siphon energy out of things without completly destroying them. They take any scraps they can. Think of Locust. They harvest one place and go to the next. No will to sustain. Just go, pick what they can and move on.  Their appearence is a green cyan cloud with multiple lemon green piercing orbs of light in them. They cannot adapt very well to the regular universe and thus are more bound to "The Shroud" unlike the other inhabitants.

    Lookout/Things for the distant future:

The entire event could, in due time and provided my (and potentially other people interested in) coding abilities improve so far enough, to make it an actual side antag/mid round antag with a player in control of the sleeper/overmind of the "Eternal Blossom". But thats far into the distant future. Additionally another late round antag to join the bunch we have already.

TLDR: Tiberium like adminbus event that corrupts people and brings some cosmic horror stuff in it ala Stellaris, Darkest Dungeon and CDDA. Some lore behind it that noone reads anyways. Ends in "Unga Bunga LASER GUNS FOR CREW ZOMBIE LIKE CREATURES ATTACK US" and "PRINT WELDERS". Could be potentially fun.

  8. Heres an idea about the Clunwe Spell. Thanks for giving me that inspiration ID (or rather gave me the idea how it would be still in the spirit of said spell).

If a Wizard uses the Clunwe spell you are given an option. It gives you a button/spell thats "Self Disintegrate". But heres the thing. You dont just gib. You gib in a bunch of confetti and make the sad trumpet sound. That way people who hate the clunwe thing could instantly get out and spectate and those who find it alright can stay and get put down. No loss for anyone.

    It's still fun.

I enjoy running around, begging to be put out of my misery, as I get lynched to death. Generally when cluwned it's taken at most 5 minutes for me to end up beaten to death, which is much more hilarious and enjoyable than suddenly getting gibbed out of nowhere.

(Except the time when a wizard was hidden as a potted plant and assassinating all the heads with disintegrate. That was pretty hilarious.)

Still would really prefere an instant gib option when getting wizard clunwed but eh cant have everything I guess.

I think its because some people find dying via cluwne as embarrassing, or as humiliation

    Exactly.

And its additionally complete no RP nonesense. People want wizards not to get instantly lynched? That crap must go.

Disintegrate lets you spectate instantly. I dont see any particular "fun" on being clunwed. Except being turned into a quite crappy meme from goon that is just plain toxic to look at at the expense of being able to instantly spectate without loosing respawn rights. Cause disintegrate lets you do that atleast. Really I suggest people saying clunwe is "fun for the victim aswell" to play one of their own more beloved characters  (read serious and developed) and get hit by it and tell me with a straight face its still "fun".

Wizard rounds are just too messy, which is fun if the crew had to deal with the aftermath like fixing damage, taking care of cursed crewmembers and such.

For that to happen (the taking care of cursed crew) the clunwe spell must not be a permanent gameender and be completly reverseable.

Mindswap and Summon Guns/Spells have led to some of the best and most interesting Wizard rounds I've ever seen. The problem is Wizard has such a high learning curve, the solution isn't to remove or limit them by removing spells the crew thinks are "OP" or cheesy, because the reality of the situation is it's very commonly 1 vs. 50 if not more.

Agreed on that, mindswap is not all too bad, but still some really weird things can come from it and from what I have seen so far its just being used with Disintegrate. I mean I havent seen all in the world but thats by far one of the more disgusting combos people tend to use.

  13. Probably beating a dead horse here (there will be a line or two about that spell too) but Wizard should get some rebalancing before even thinking of forcing ragin, let alone putting it in rotation or any of its varieties.

Wizards have some extremly problematic and unfun spells and combos, you know which I am talking about (from least horrible to most horrible gameplay wise and RP wise.) But hey lets still list them and explain whats wrong:

Disintegrate: A spell that just instant kills the target if in touching range. No fun at all and when combined with one of the two instant stun spells is a safe and boring kill.

Horsemask: Really annoying low RP and basicly a stale 2010 meme that should have died off long ago. Blind does the same but is more effective and doesnt ruin peoples round because noone knows how to make Fluorosulph because everyone is anyways hunting the wizard using that spell with... said fluorosulph... in smoke grenades... and RSGs filled with Sarin... I have seen many people cryoing over wizards/crew using horsemask. And I get them. Its just not fun and downright complete shit.

Anything that transforms into lesser forms: That is corgi/none sentient animals/ animals with no attack or nothing to do. It basicly is disintegrate but you cant get yourself killed so you can spectate. You HAVE to ghost to spectate the round and loose respawn rights in the process.

Mindswap: An ability that should only be used on Clings because it makes sense for them to have. For wizards its just leading to them being stunned then being thrown to death with floor tiles "just to be sure". Its one of the spells that makes cheesing wizards so utterly compelling.

Lichform: Respawn and use your other spells from this list alongside mostly evasive things or stuns to make the round drag on as much as possible. Suggestion how to improve it: Make it an actual set of spells that turns the wizard into a real full blown necromancer with spells that allow raising zombies (which can infect crewmembers ala rommerol from TG), throw "deathbolts" which basicly just freeze people to death. Cause "fogs" that bring great pain to everyone moving in (and lets their organs rot), animate skeleton that basicly turns the person into a skeleton, a fleeting form but with alot of anger and will to help the necromancer. Being close to the necromancer would keep them alive, corpse detonation aswell would be cool if a corpse is there for more than say 3 mins and might get more dangerous the longer the corpse exist. And good old bonespike that basicly pierces armor and does internal organ damage but can be dodged easily. And maybe keep the ressurection in. But make it a "all or nothing" kind of deal. They spend all their points on becoming a lich with all those spells and thats it.

Clunweform/Curse of Clunwe: I get its a meme from goon. But on goon its balanced. Why is that? Its on a 2 minute cooldown last time I checked and its CUREABLE. The chaplin on goon can cure it by just whacking you a few times with his bible on the head. Permanent clunwe should really be only a thing as a very special "punishment" for doing things like /pray Dabs at the gods or sending assfaxes. And even the latter. Makes no sense. Why would a megacorp with any kinds of extradimensional tech and a full arsenal based on nanotech waste time turning someone into this instead of quitely, efficiently sending someone to take them out or use some kind of other "technology based" weapons at their disposal (nanomachines to turn them into a borg.). Wizard clunwe should be cureable. Nothing permanent. Maybe even make it wear off after X ammount of minutes (including the fucking clothes). This spell is just outright terrible and number one reason to cryo on wizard rounds instead of playing along, alongside the spells listed above. Remove outright, rebalance or maybe replace with something less, sorry for the choice of words, retarded. And it gets worse with the instant stun spells wizards have. clunwe spell should cost 2 + 5% of max karma of the caster PER CAST and if the caster has no karma he gets turned into a clunwe then people would think about using it.

Now that the negative is out of the way some positive things:

Wizards have many tools to cause chaos. The engaging kind. For instance:

The summon gun spell, while pretty broken, allows for extremly extensive gunfights only seen once every blue moon during nukeops.

Fireball, while unoriginal, can be flunged along corridors and hit random people making them very paranoid when they hear the sound of it being fired.

Soulstone Belt and Artificer: Gets the people killed right back in the round and allows them to cause chaos and help the wizard, essentially making one big fight on the whole station. One of the most fun things I have seen in wizard rounds and an always buy, atleast for me, whenever I roll wizard

Necrostone: Same deal as soulstone belt but more limited.

Flesh to Stone and Animation Staff: Should be combined into one item honestly. The animation staff itself is a fun item, but flesh to stone can make it even more fun. You get turned into a statue and are supposed to wreck havoc while lurking in the dark. Flesh to stone alone is just terrible, but with animation staff its pretty good.

Door Staff: While its uses are pretty limited it can result in a few chaotic situations. Like people looting the captains spacesuit cause its a wizard on station and they want to survive/fight

Things that make wizard rounds potentially more enjoyable:

Potion of bloodrage/Enrage: Gives the Doomslayer buff to everyone on screen/the target. What it does: Basicly people affected by Doomslayer get a chainsaw, adminmeds and an objective to RIP AND TEAR while seing everyone else as a demon. For 60 seconds. They are NOT friendly to the wizard. But also not necessarily completly hostile to him. Could lead to some interesting things like stealth wizards who keep enraging people every now and then. 2 points cost/3 points cost

Mind Control: Control someone for 10 minutes. Basicly Wololo staff but without the staff. Instantanous (debateable) and 2 people who can be under mind control PER invested level. Can lead to some pretty interesting stuff. Pierces mindshields. 3 Points cost.

Paranoia/Mass Hallucination: Makes someone suffer from extremly vivid hallucinations for 10 minutes/ Makes everyone see extremly vivid hallucinations for 1 minute. 1 point cost, (both), target spell/range is on screen. Both spells are silent.

Plasma Breath: Basicly a small breath like spell that allows the wizard to throw ignited plasma. Like a flamethrower. Also grands the wizard heat and fire immunity. 2 points cost.

Dragon Form: Turns the wizard into a lesser ashdrake (and lets them turn back on will) gives them a new set of abilities but unable to cast spells during drakeform. 3 points cost.

Runeblade/Spellsword: The thing that shoots those orange circles. Could be nice to have for wizards since it costs 2 points and only has 5 charges maximum.

So wheres the difference in the things listed above as "bad things" and "good things". Pretty simple actually. "Well designed" spells are engaging, and are not a instant death/humilation/round ending spells. They get you a different thing to do other than "get killed" during a chaotic round. They are not ruining anyones round or make them feel "robbed" in a very disgusting and bad way. Theres a good kind of chaos and a bad kind of chaos. Aslong wizards have spells that are listed above and explained why they are bad it will always be a terrible gamemode where people will always rush to kill the wizard to get a different, more engaging round which allows for more things to happen. Atleast thats how I see it and perceived it so far. Cause a Wizard using a Soulstone belt and artificer doesnt get nearly cheesed as badly as a stun into clunwe wizard with evasion and necromutation. I did both (except the clunwning but thats frankly because I find that spell pretty terrible, disintegrate is more effective and doesnt make the person wait for death) and didnt get cheesed as much with a "dark mage" "build" than with a "Bullshit tier spell" "build". Its all about the arsenal they have aviable. Not about the antag itself. The antag itself is fine, atleast on paper. The tools/weapons are not. But thats just my opinion on that entire deal.
