What if you replace the SM with a bank of port gens, extra SMES units and another solar array?
Might need some messing around map wise but any potential for grief there would be very low.
Theoretically, you could have the distro line one closed, high pressure line from the N2 and O2 tanks, you would have the ensure that the gas mixer couldn't be removed though, and the pipe freezers would either have to be removed or useless on the distro line.
Then you could give atmos their CO2/N2O/Plasma tanks back, just with greatly reduced volumes.

Yay for shitcurity that round. (HoS was ok, just overworked.)
Also Dread, with that SM, you should only ever use volume pumps like that. Normal pumps are for controlled pressure, not mass movement of gas.

This is bloody amazing. Thank you so much for doing what I failed to do and properly writing out this guide.
Everything here seems to be great.
You could always completely tear out the non-airmix gas lines, would make things even simpler and you then have more room to work with.
It might be worth showing another setup, showing the simplest possible setup that will do the job. (So just a single line sending waste past the coolers) Maybe even another one using the mixing tank as a relief system and the space loop. (As it works now.
And bloody hell that HoS. One day I'll send up just plain beating one to death, I swear.

To clarify Earth a tiny bit...
Speed changes (mostly buffs) affect nearly every single aspect of gameplay and balance. It would probably be shorter to name the things it DOESN'T affect.

Thats my damn point. I have barely played any rounds and yet in every single one of them, people playing the fox race are awful. Note that I am not saying every single person who plays the fox race is a problem. Just a very large majority of them. Claiming that would be ridiculous.
This isn't kneejerk, if it was I would have thrown a damn fit when the PR was posted.

Bloody hell.
Remember to upgrade the coolers, if science does their job (ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaohohhohohaahahhaah) they should easily be able to supply parts to upgrade em.
