Then I understand! Thank you, I'll go over it soon if nobody else takes up on it.- 1

You didn't answer my question from the last thread though, is there a reason you're not doing it yourself?
Again, not trying to be rude or anything. -
I'll change the lore so I'm never wrong

I like the idea of nuke-ops being all human, adds to the effect of the syndicate being a human organisation to bring down Nanotrasen, a human Organization

Removing 1/3 of the weapons you can reliably use against a borg is ludicrous, this is a textbook example of "I ded pls nerf"
Humans can be beaten to death just the same with a stun baton, except they have tons of other weaknesses, for instance getting peppersprayed in the face, harmbatoned, tasered, drugged, they are vulnerable to chemicals, they need to breathe, can break bones, need a suit to survive in a zero pressure environment etc.
"But you can be permastunned by a flash!!"
Well you can also be permastunned by a stunbaton, as well as it serving as a reliable blunt weapon to beat you to death with, it also can be recharged, whereas a flash is a non-rechargeable resource that has a finite amount of uses before being destroyed. -
Aaaaah I see!
Yeah we've already got some ss13 people who are play testing the game, I can't wait to get it out in early access- 1

Can we allow users to delete their own posts for a short time after posting them as this forum seems to get a lot of double posts probably by mistake.
I've added the ability for members to hide their own content, this means that normal people won't be able to see it, but staff will.

Nerf ZN23X, they're amassing too much karma.
Also I still need my precious wiki contributor tag you butte. <3
The change not to double line on hitting enter is also massively appreciated, that was a much needed change.
You mean the "new paragraph on enter" is a good thing, yes?
I wasn't sure if it was something we wanted, it did break formatting on some old posts, but overal I think it helps people format their text better. You can also do shift+enter to get a linebreak

Now that we've had the new forum for a while, I'd like to get everyones feedback on it.
Is there anything that you are missing?
What do you like? What don't you like?
Give us feedback here, so we can see about correcting any mistakes, and so we know where we did good, so we can continue doing good. -
Anyone can change their own title at 1000 posts if I remember correctly.

Yeah, with all due respect, that's honestly how it looked to a regular player like me, as well.
Well, I can say that you're both wrong, we picked people for senior admins because of their ability and time on paradise, some people just didn't have what it takes to live up to the expectations of thw position, but a problem arised when more and more of the seniors became inactive while still holding their position. We didn't want to remove them, but they did begin to clog up the system.
Our solution was the Senate, where 4 people work on a cycle, to ensure that people were active and to keep it small to get things moving along without having to wait a week for everyone to vote.
So no, it's not about your loyalty, it's about your ability.

tsk tsk btw @Dinarzad you can multiquote with the little pluss sign at the bottom of the post

I think that is the LEAST the administration could do here. A little bit of courtesy.
I'd love to, but it wasn't me who declined it, I can't decline it, I had no decision in declining it and I only heard the reason for declining it after it was declined.
I'd love for people to get more feedback on why exactly things aren't being added, I'd also love for maintainers to take the time to consider if what's being proposed is something they'll even accept at the end BEFORE asking for changes, that way they're not wasting anyone's time on something that won't be added.
Good example of this is Jedr's tank PR- 1

I don't think we should accept a PR based on the amount of work people but into it.
If I make a PR that I spent 10 hours per day on a week on, and it's basically just a gigantic system for bowel movement, then it shouldn't be accepted because of the time I put into it when it's something we do not want for our codebase.

We just got a brand new forum thanks to the Patreon (of which we should have had one LONG ago, but I digress)
I'm sorry I didn't snap my fingers and magically summoned this forum into existance
