  1. Yeah on a more serious note, I agree with uc_guy. Borgs are supposed to be corruptible, making a borg that is not corruptable would be (impossible) lame and overpowered
  2. >malf AI round >Instantly blow up blueshield bot and hack the others Do I win now?
  3. you can't increase vent pressure to more than 1k or something, it used to be 5k
  4. Event? Dear god that thing is nasty. I´d like to know what event that is for
  5. No god please don´t Atmos for AI was already nerfed by the new UI update
  6. Genuinely disappointed that nobody has mentioned this Portal and Portal 2 If you have not played this yet then I suggest locking all doors and barricading all windows while you download it from steam or get the CD for your console, cause you are going to need to enter full gamer mode as you dive into the world of Aperture, the biggest research company in the world of Portal guns, repulsion gell and GLaDOS (Black mesa is for scrubs and plebs)
  7. Thats the problem, I really don´t They did this in magica as well, and IMO it didnt work out too well, it just ended up with a lot of "robes" you could use that would make you essentially overpowered if used correctly.

    Medbay

Order medical crates from cargo in exchange for Tricord and drugs. And shitcurity already got enough toys to play with, I really don't want some cunt riding on a superfast jailcart with the clown dragging on the back while he harmbatons everyone he can find on his journey to space the clown
  9. Doable? Maybe, but will we do it? That is what this thread is about. In my opinion, vox should only be available as vox raiders, as in the gamemode, simply because of their special internal needs and background.
  10. No, Spacebears do enough damage already and meteors are just plain annoying.
  11. Sorry, just seems to imbalanced and OP to me
  12. Me playing a wizard, who got invited to play D&D with the club that the library made. Was seriously fun, I want more of this
  13. I removed Vox because we have Vox Raiders. Nec go into code and goto species.dm or something like that :3 then change there breathe type to oxygen wop wop, abby out of nothing And for the Breathe type, it would kind of ruin RP and lore, as removing the N-tank from a vox is just an easy way to kill him if there is a heist round.
  14. Well you could add to traitor stuff here, and post on the other creative ways of killing in the creative ways of killing thread
  15. Sup guys, People keep telling me I do good as antag, so I figured I would make a guide so that you might also win a round some day! Keep in mind that this is a WIP and I will be just ruffly putting things here as I come up with em. So then, lets start with the normal traitor. Traitor So you are a traitor? Good shit! You are one of the reasons the shuttle might be called, so lets get to work! First off, evaluate your tasks, for this example, say you need to kill someone. First look them up on the crew manifest, what job do they have? Can you interact with them somehow? Will your line of work ever need to talk to that person? Non the less, attempt to get close to your target, you want to kill them when you are alone. Second, lets check if you have an uplink, if you do then congratulations, you are one step closer to killing your target or doing your task! If you can´t remember your code, just type "notes" in the verb field and it will show up in your memory. Now there is a couple of ways you can kill someone. You could try to do it stealthy, nobody will ever notice that you killed them Or you could run at them with 3 needles of CH and full syndie gear I preffer stealth. So just lock your PDA (go out of syndie mode) and keep moving, as I said get close to your target. Now keep at it, do your job, dont go running around like an idiot looking suspicious. Now start to make relations with people, talk to others, use side channel and make people remember your name (SAY MY NAME!) This will help you in case you get caught at the crime scene, people will actually help you out! Be friendly with people, try to make them like you. For this part you NEED GLOVES Gloves can be found all over the station, remember that insulated gloves are more easly spotted, I suggest keeping 2 pair if you can get a hold of them, one pair of stun gloves of you choice, and one pair of insulated gloves. Okay now lets say you want to go in for the kill, there is A LOT of ways to kill someone, and I would be just using too much energy to type them all out, so I am just going to say this. BE CREATIVE. In most chases you only have to use a sleepy pen or nothing at all depending on your job. A chemist can EASLY make a pill of 50 units of CH and force him to swallow it, he will be gone instantly. A security.. well if you cant kill someone as a security don´t play security. A skilled botanist can have some fun ways of killing others. gah, as I said there are so many ways to kill people in this game, be creative! - Side note here, there is NO reason to get an Esword, it will just end up giving you away, a crowbar or toolbox works wonders to the head if they are drugged by a sleepy pen. I will make a different thread about creative ways of killing people, you will be surprised of all the ways I have found to kill people. Again this is a WIP, there might be grammatical errors, there might be things that I missed, I just wrote this in 10 minutes out of my head.
  16. I think that the AI using the intercoms is kind of the whole deal with an AI, it is supposed to be hard like that (thats what she said)
  17. Adding a few things for you - Harmbatoning is something of the worst you can do, this includes the telescopic baton (HoS and Captain) Let me remind you that HARM BATONING DOES NOT STUN FOR LONGER It does a LOT of damage and will make you guilty of assault, might even murder. Harmbatoning is ground for instant demotion and withdrawal of all security items, IT SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED As for the telescopic baton, the captan can use it once or twice to get someone knocked down so he gets the point, the captain is the highest VIP on the station, he HAS to be on his toes when it comes to anyone. If you are the HoS don´t use the telescopic baton for normal rule breakers, it does a lot of damage, and has a high chance of them starting to bleed, which will just make everything more bloody, and the person might also die. This, however does not give you the right to flat out beat someone to death, 1-3 times is more than enough to make the person stay down. Remember that murder is punishable by execution and a jobban if you have no real reason. - USE THE AIM FUNCTION There is a revolver picture for you above your intents, have a taser (or any range weapon) in hand and press it, it will open a few more windows for you to press and you will also get a message saying "you will now take people captive" This will be your greatest friend as security or anyone really, you can change on the aim function by pressing the different icons, one being allow/disallow walk and/or run and the other one being item use. I suggest allowing walk and item use, as this is more save so you dont accidentally shoot the guy because he put away his crowbar. The walk mode will instantly put anyone you aim at in walk mode (dont abuse this) this is really helpfull as it will make the person walk -A lot- slower. People also tend to stop what they are doing when they hear the aim sound and see the aim mode on themselves, they also get a small text saying what is going on.
  18. Polytrinic acid in a cryo tube. Anyways. Can you not just drag the target into the tube, replace the beaker with your mixture of death, let the guy die and do the old switcharoo back to the old beaker again? It requires you to play smart and fend off other potential people that might want to peak at the tube, but will make for some interesting gameplay
  19. I´d love someone to do this kind of event! I remember one time I was a wizard, and a librarian decided to host a DnD group in the library, cause what else can he do? So I teleported inn and had a blast, they liked my sound effects (when I threw a fireball I ACTUALLY threw a fireball, got me some extra points) Sadly some griefers blew a bomb somewhere so we had to evacuate the area because of pressure loss If someone wants to do this then just tell me before the round starts or on BYOND and I will make stuff happen
  20. I second this, they are normally not picked up by NanoTrasen because of the fact that they are mostly frowned upon and are just flat out unreliable. They also laugh at humans for the lack of trees, kekekekekekekkeek
  21. Hello there, I figured it was due time for me to make one of these, seeing that everyone else is doing it. I'm Regen, most people know me as either Regen or Regens. I fell in love with SpaceStation 13 the second I heard about it from my friend Deterrentdevice, as the two of us used to play a game called Warcraft 3 the frozen throne, which had a HUGE variety of maps that were all different, you can think of them like all different game modes. Anyways, in warcraft 3 we played a lot on this map called "Parasite 2" where it was essentially the same as on SpaceStation 13, you had a spaceship with people trapped on it, you had air and air loss, different stages on the map etc. On round start one player would be chosen as the parasite (antag) and its objective would be to infect others by killing them in the parasite form (you could change between that and normal form, making stealth essential) While all this was extremely fun, it got outdated, meaning the game stopped getting patches from blizzard, and most of the community died out. So when I started SpaceStation 13 I was baffled by all the things you could do, so much to explore and learn about, we could spend hours just pondering about the best kill as an antag, it was really fun just learning the game. We started out as miners, and after that I ventured over to virology and medbay because I wanted to learn more about the medium jobs, while my friend started to tinker around with Engineer. ---Fun story, we actually fortified and made a little fort inside virology on the TGstation map once, because everyone ---was being rev'ed and killed, so he came in from the maint and walled us inn while I made a virus that would kill all of ---them except us who had the vaccine. ANYWAYS. I moved on from Virology to CMO (big leap, sue me) then started to play around with jobs like AI and robotics. After a while I managed to try out all jobs except janitor, bartender and chef, of which I later just took up with my friend. We had a fun time as me being a Norwegian chef and he being a bartender server radiated drinks while we both were cultists. A bit about myself, I have past administrative experiences from multiple things, such as servers, gameservers, site management and community management I am from Norway (Master race) I usually (always) play as the character "Heather Winceworth" or "Yuki Tanaka" I enjoy good original RP, I like it when people take it to the next level and start to really show what this game can do. (old, I am now a Game admin pretending to be a Game Master) At the moment I am a Game Master on the server, meaning that it is my job to try to spice up the rounds a little bit, send is a few deathsquads, spread GBS and dance all over the secrets panel.
  22. Problem is that the centcom mechs instakill about anything you can throw at them. I guess an EMP nade spam could take them out, but it requires everyone to co-operate on a good level.. I will consider it for an event I guess, but it will be hard to organize
  23. Regen

    Chef event

I was thinking of doing some play off the "Swedish chef" muppet, it could be an event just like being a traitor without the objectives etc. Basically it would give you a message on round start like "You are the swedish chef! Nobody will understand what you say and you wont understand what others say!" It would change your language to "Swedish" making it so when you speak it will just sound like jibberish to others.
