    The point of the chemical box is to replace the random single vial.

     

    You don't know what you get, but you will get a usable set.

    The poison set is good for anything, just buy the syringe gun.

    Healing is nice and always usable.

    The bomb set includes enough chems to be creative. ( knockout grenades, blackpowder smoke, standard explosive)

    The spray set can make a flamethrower, explosive spray, lube, ect.

    Currently buying chemicals as traitors is god awful

    Only chemist and scientist traitors can directly by random chemicals

    otherwise you have to buy a random surplus crate.

    New item,

    Chemical box- 1 of 4 boxes. uknown tc amount

     

    -Toxin box. Contains 7 beakers, 5 are random traitor chems ( that have labels indicating what they are) the last two are Cyandie and Tabun.

    -Spray bottle box- 2 spray bottles, 1 beaker of synthflesh, 1 phlogiston, 1 flouro acid, 1 space lube, 1 beaker of plant killer

    -bomb box- 1 beaker of smoke powder, 1 beaker of phlogiston, 1 beaker of black powder, 1 beaker of nitorglycerin, 1 beaker of potassium, 1 beaker of sulfonal, 1 beaker of capuletim. ( now just ask the bartender for a glass of water)

    -Healing chem box- a box full of assorted healing chemicals- Includes atleast 1 beaker of synthflesh and omnizine.

     

    Portable pill and patch maker- 2 tc

     

    Thermite box- 4 beakers of thermite- 1 empty beaker- 1 pipette- welding goggles -2tc

     

    Changes:

     

    Syndicate syringe pistol- comes in a box with 6 syringes.

    how to kill shunted AI. turn off ALL station power. ALL of it, cut solars, turn of all SMES on station.

     

    then you see that fancy as shit shield generator in engineer secure storage, CRANK that shit up, eat all the power.

     

    Shunted Ai's apc should be dead now, if its on station.

    honestly space pods are broken code wise, there movement is broken, they were poorly ported and no one wants to touch them with a stick

     

    I recommend deleting, moving their sprites onto mech code,

     

    hell you could delete the sprite, use the old xenoarch pod mech, give it some recolors, allow it full access to all mech parts, up its speed, change its stats.

     

    Sleeper pods for passengers up to 3, would also be more useful in stabilizing spaced individuals, it would allow sec pod to scoop people in space who are refusing to enter the pod.

     

    sec pod mech would have a taser, a laser, and a sleeper

     

    civ pod stuck with whatever research gives him beyond his 3 sleepers

    Recovered Scrap of knockoff unit -obviously deceased

     

    Unit was recovered from station ********, Unit was caught attempting murder, a Slime Coroner named Hughe, Unit attempted to implant an explosive device into the man, Unit was thwarted by witnesses, before unit could be question it committed suicide by an extensive number of EMP devices, The target victim was later found already dead and replaced by a changeling. Recovered memory of time up to station was a copy of Unit 2 up until a point, after this point memory is encrypted.

    The H.O.F.F. series IPC is based off a brain scan of the deceased 20-21st century actor and singer David Hasslehoff.

     

    This series of IPC shows aptitude for (mad) science, medical care ( only due to downloaded medical data), and Esoteric architecture.

     

    This series is not recommended for Security work, due to its slower than satisfactory reaction time, units however have atleast proven to be combat capable in times of emergency.

    Unit 1-Deceased/Corrupted : station was lost to cult of Nar Sie, . Unit's status is unknown, suspected destroyed or corrupted by cultist .

     

    Unit 2-Corrupted/Unrecoverable : Is currently treated as a pet by a xenomorph colony at ************ ********** in the ************* constellation. Transmissions from unit show shift was standard until co worker, a Ivan Ooze, invited Unit onto a off the record project on a research outpost near on the nearby stations resource asteroid, Together they raised a xenomorph facehugger to a queen by supplying it with a copious amount of monkeys, Later in the shift, once control over the experiment was lost, Xenomorphs forced the unit to take them to the station, Unit 2 then proceeded to ferry a couple of dozen xenomorphs and countless face huggers to the station proper. Contact was lost shortly after xenomorphs hijacked the escape shuttle and forced unit to re route to classified location.

     

    Unit 3-Complicated : This unit unlike previous units survived multiple dire situations, Unit successfully evaded Ascendance event on **** /** /** by escaping by hiding out on a pirate radio station , a xenomorph infestation in which Unit and other survivors recovered and repurposed a medical vessel and utilized discarded telepad technology to save more crew from the compromised station, Unit was decommissioned after successfully transferring a copy of its consciousness into a monkey brain, this brain is now in a currently alive Vulpakin, The original positronic brain inside the overly stressed IPC frame from the experiment was decommissioned, Sadly the notes on how to perform the experiment were leaked before decommissioning.

     

    Unit-4 Alive: current replacement on our work contract with nanotrasen, unit is currently operating in the field, we have modified units personality slightly, Unit no longer expresses disloyalty to nanotrasen, and now actively works against enemies of the corporation.

    From a sprite perspective, Resomi should be a full standard sprite like humans, but have the halfling gene trait. so that it shrinks them , and whatever they are wearing, making clothing sprites good to go.

     

     

    now balance wise I feel our coders could come up with a way give resomi shortsight with thermal like vision, that does not see through walls.

    this makes their vision "different" not better or worse by any margin, just different.

     

    the rest of their balance is around them being Small, Frail, and able to be picked up.

     

    So their buffs would be

    Small

    Can go over tables

     

    Cons

    Easy to kidnap/thrall/cult

    Easy to kill

     

     

     

    And really if they are going to stand still in melee, alt click their tile....make them suffer by attacking them from the tab menu.

    When slimes have become your friends they will infact listen to you, there are currently 3 commands (4 if you include Hello)

     

    Stay - Slimes will go non hostile for some time, not move, and behave until told another command

     

    Stop - Slimes stop following current command, in a few ticks they will go hostile to any non friend

     

    Follow- Slimes go non hostile, will follow friend who said follow.

     

    Commands can be given to individual slimes by saying their number, or to all slimes by addressing them as slimes.

     

     

     

    Commands can be laced in general conversation

     

     

    example slimes are following master antag slime breeder, sec is in a standoff with them

    " What can stop me from releasing my slimes on you?"

    since the word slimes and stop were in the same sentence slimes will go hostile.

     

     

     

    what I'm asking is if its possible to expand upon this system

     

    Commands that would be useful

     

    Kill- slimes will attack the next person the friend points at.

    Hide- Slimes will hide in nearby vent until next command or bored, then leave vent.

    Meet/Introduce- next person pointed at becomes a low tier friend to the slimes.

    Guard- Slime will attack whoever picks up or hits the pointed at targert, If word me is said, slimes will defend you.

    heres a horrible crop job,

    now its time to look at it code wise, this suggestion would mean making it so each slime core had 4 variation it could mutate to , sans edge cores.

     

    this would mean recoding most of the slime mobs to have new mutation paths for the additional types, possibly changing some to allow for regression.

     

     

     

    also on the side thats missing the most options I'd suggest stuff like, wizard slime, ect

     

    such a slime could give random spells ( using them improperly being self antagging.)

    It started as secondary testing of fucntion IPC-ORGANIC limb replacement surgery

     

    however sadly this proved a flaw in ipc organic limb replacement surgery, replacing too many limbs and not removing the internal organs will create a toxin overload of pain receptors effectively killing the ipc.

     

    when removing the organs in an attempt of revival it was learned that the consciousness had moved to the human brain.

     

    at the end of the day a whole new procedure was born.

    I mean even on the current station we have more than enough arrivals space for to add a mid round antag/protag type that takes a ship and docks it in the usual NT shuttle spot ( its the best spot) you could make a bunch of ships, give them all the same docking spot, and randomly through a round ghosts could be pulled to it, and sent to the station.

     

    Just imagine the fun, Shadowlings up to no good, then a mysterious race of glowing assholes that transfer a small bit of power to room they are in, wanting the shield generators from engineering show up.

     

    or during a cult round a ship with a crew full of golems shows up to steal the nuke.

    Stage 1 of surgery, obtain one souless body with head containing a brain

    Stage 2 Remove the head from the creature

    Stage 3 Remove the IPC's head from frame

    Stage 4 place creatures head on IPC

    Stage 5 Remove the brain from the head of the creature on the ipc frame, as the consciousness has transferred from the positronic brain to the organic brain.

    Stage 6 obtain a humanized creature

    Stage 7 peraform brain replacement surgery

    Stage 8 Clone the finished product for stable infection free permanency.

     

     

    when this is all said and done, the IPC will now be a member of whichever species you put them in.

     

     

    Notes

    for traitors this will count as the ipc being dead, as code wise their IPC body and its positronic brain are dead.

    For IPC traitors, your body is dead...this will count for glorious death, but other conditions fail.

    stims costing 8tc would make them never used, ever, instead all traitors would get a chemist or scientist to hook them up with meth cigarettes.

     

    I mean meth gives you stun resistance and move speed, all you ever want with a chainsaw....

    From what I've done, gotten away with ect, while constantly a helping to see if I've overstepped my bounds

     

    from my experience

    All forms of theft seem fine, as long as you don't use any lethal intent, submit to the law when you've lost, ect, though don't be an ass and steal items a syndicate might need, or weapons, don't steal weapons, stealing the gold from the vault, or champbelt, sure.

     

    Aiding antags seems fine, setting your opinion of nanotrasen to opposed in character setup actually has a chance to tell syndicate to look you out for help. just remember unless you are antag or mindslaved, or bomb implanted, you aren't a cold killer, so never hurt anyone.

     

    the big thing I ask myself

    1) am I ruining anyones round? no

    2) am I making the round fun for me and others? yes usually, gives sec something to do, that isn't going to try to kill them.

    3) is the current situation okay to do this? IE no fucking around on blob/vampire/wizard/confirmedling rounds

    4) are the admins bussing? if yes greytide to the max.

     

     

     

     

    Things I've done and gotten away with

    Breaking syndicates out of perma, because its fun, and gets them back in the round, four times now

    Driving a syndicate around in a pod while he plants bombs on the AI

    HACK EVERYTHING

    steal everything ( I made vox proud)

    FREE ANIMALS FROM CHEF

    LSD SMOKE BOMBS

    Deal Drugs

    Surge is Space drugs for IPC, it causes the rainbow screen effect, and acts as a bit of a pain killer from experience

     

    Overdose effect is hilarious, IPC will begin to short circuit and lightning bolt themselves.

     

     

    The only other IPC drug is Ultra lube that is just meth, and will burn and IPC to death on overdose.

     

     

    I'd like an LSD equivalent. To cause hallucinations. Overdose effect could be taking actual damage from those hallucinations (xeno hallucination knocks off head, singularity gibs them ect.)
